    I get that this has been a good draft, but it's just not cool to have nobody to follow in training camp at the fun positions.

    Because everyone scouted WRs last year like it was their job and TBD groupthink was "don't draft Coleman, cause he can't separate." Then the Bills went and drafted him. People are still hopping mad about it.

    They drafted a S. That CB they took from OSU played S in college and projects to play there in the NFL.

    It's good with some productive guys, but it's not fun. That's what people are angry about, even if they won't admit it. Bengals fans get to buy Ja'marr Chase jerseys and get to watch him every Sunday. We have to watch dink and dunk because we have zero athletes at the position that is most fun to watch in the sport.

    I've never heard the phrase "on the grass" instead of "on the field" from NFL talking heads until this draft. Now I've heard it multiple times from the NFL Network crew.

    NFL Network knew the pick and set it up for 7 minutes just to build drama. But it was so clear what happened.

    What's going on is that very active posters on this board and professional NFL talking heads just spent 2 months comparing draft prospects to each other. Looking at it through this lens, you would have to say that the Pats have had a good draft. My response to that is "THIS DRAFT SUCKS!!!!" Nailing this draft might not move the needle all that much.
