SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)

As a former QB, he is really good at reading the defense and finding the gaps in the zone. He often doesn’t have a called route. Rather he has free rein to read and react. -

You might as well tell Dan Campbell to stop going for it on 4th. He’s the most fun HC in football. Never change, Kneecaps. -

That seems like correlation, not causation. -

It probably would have, but at the time it would have felt like the end of the season. The Bills would have been 6-7 and would have needed the Jags to completely collapse down the stretch to get in. As it turned out, the Jags did just that. What I remember is that the NYT simulator had the Bills at a 19% chance of making the playoffs after their OT loss in Philly going into the bye. -

In 2023, the Bills were a Kadarius Toney toe away from missing the playoffs. -

People are panicking in here today and the Bills didn’t even play. -
Their fans are angry at DeCosta for taking a luxury pick at safety instead of investing in depth for the DL where they were really thin. I would say they are engaging in hindsight, but lord knows we do a lot of that around here.

It only feels that way because you read this board, where the BBFS flows like a mudslide and McDermott is the worst coach since Rich Kotite.

Do you remember 2021? When the Bills were in 2nd place when Mac Jones ripped off 7 straight wins while the Bills went 3-5? Or how about 2023, when the Dopphins led the division from week 5 until we beat them in week 18? Here is the mythical 13-second season, which all of TBD remembers as a runaway success until McDumbass pissed it away, just for reference. We've been in dogfights for the division before during this run, and we're likely in one this year too. -
They'll lose at least one to Pittsburgh. They do pretty much every year, even when they are rolling and the Steelers have Kenny Pickett.
