I get it from the Jets perspective. A CB, even a great one, is not a foundation piece for a team without a QB, OL, and great pass rush. Those are the things you build around, and you keep trading assets until you get some of those things.
You have to see it from the selling team's POV. They have to maximize value, if for no other reason than to sell the move to their fans. They have zero incentive to make any trade until 3:55.
There is a very real possibility that the Eagles will have nothing to play for by week 17. They have all but won their division already and only the Rams threaten them for the #1 seed now that the Lions dropped a stupid one to Minnesota. But I would add @Texans to the list of tough games for the Bills. Their defense is for real.
Could be, but it can't be a package deal because Harrison is on the Jets now. Also, the Vikings' win this weekend in Detroit probably made them into buyers.
Them or Pittsburgh, I would predict. If the Fins have a non-AFC East option, they will take it.
Just a few weeks ago, he tweeted that Jacoby Meyers had already been traded and then deactivated his Twitter account two hours later when it turned out not to be true. Hence the skepticism.
But Jerrah was bragging about this all over the radio yesterday. I thought they had Maxx Crosby. And even at that, no pass rusher will fix that secondary.
