  1. Players not only demanding trades, but also forcing certain destinations.
  2. NFL is becoming the NBA, which is bad for the Bills.
  3. The Seahawks got to watch him in practice every day for a season, so if he has some potential they would know it better than anyone.
  4. Sam Howell had the same number of INTs and he did TD passes in his only year as a starter. He was also sacked 65 times.
  5. Yeah, those hipsters buy all their Vinyl in mono. It's the purest sound.
  6. Based upon that, you can buy your Metcalf Chargers jersey already.
  7. I'm in favor of signing James Cook, but just to play devil's advocate here's Dalvin Cook's stats. He fell off that RB cliff with a thud. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CookDa01.htm
  8. Nobody has a $200 shirt with my name on the back of it.
  9. The way this works is Schefter breaks the signing with a huge number. This is because his sources are almost all agents Rapaport then reports the signing with a much lower number. This is because his sources are almost all front office personnel We get actual contract numbers and find additional outs and void years to lower cap hits. I don't care how much these guys get paid. It's not my money. What I do care about is cap hits. We don't get those for a few days, so I don't respond to signings until then.
  10. Because he's GenZ and they post everything on social media? Also, keeping those discussion behind closed doors gives the team all the leverage. Why would he do that? RBs have been arguing for higher pay on social media for a few seasons now. Remember Josh Jacobs and Saquon Barkley threatening to hold out two offseasons ago? They are, as a group, advocating for higher pay for all of them. All because GMs, as a group, decided about 5-6 years ago to not pay RBs because Jerry just had to overpay Ezekiel Elliott.
  11. Of course. I always like to see how many of a player's stats came in garbage time when they shouldn't have been playing. Trey got a strip sack of Ridder in the 4th when the Bengals were winning 38-17. The Bills starters wouldn't have been on the field. There are a lot of examples of that type of thing that skew stats. I'm sure that people who do this for a living keep track of that. Or they know that they can't pay him, Chase, and Tee Higgins. And the organization's primary task for the past two years has been to keep Joe Burrow happy to avoid a Carson Palmer situation, so Hendrickson has to go while they can get something. FWIW, Hendrickson played all 17 games this past season.
  12. In 2024 7.5 of those sacks came against Desmond Ridder and Russell Wilson, both of whom hold the ball FOREVER.
  13. This is good to get out in front of the cap. Actual money doesn't matter to me because it's not my money. What matters is the percentage of the cap. The cap keeps going up and contracts go up with it. So any extension at the current cap will be good value by this time in two years. And the fact that this is a good deal at the current cap means it will be of tremendous value in 2 years.
  14. We traded a draft prospect that we didn’t value, not a proven NFL player.
  15. You're discounting how good James Cook was this year because you want to make a point about not paying RBs. He made something out of nothing many times, and has the burst to turn 10-yard gains into long TDs. That TD against SF that I linked above is about a 5 yard gain with Singletary. He was the Bills' best offensive skill player outside of Josh Allen. I don't know that he's worth 15 million, but he's not easily replaceable.
  16. That's absolutely what they are doing. Diggs made an NBA move last by not only forcing a trade but also forcing a destination. It's now the norm.
  17. The Bills did give a #1 for Diggs who was only one year younger than DK is now.
  18. It’s his prerogative. He’s going to do what he wants to do.
  19. Chargers or Texans. Both teams have a need, cap space, and a lot of assets to trade.
  20. Florio got a "tip" from Bosa's agent.
  21. Maybe, just maybe, the Seahawks don't want to trade him. So they set the price too high and then go back to him and tell him they tried.
  22. People saw him play in Pittsburgh and he was terrible.
  23. I go back and forth on this all the time. We did win a lot this year and Josh played great. But I've been watching Ja'marr Chase highlights today. All Burrow has to do is throw it in his general direction and good things happen. It's just so much easier to play when you have guys besides the QB that can make plays.Chase takes 10 yard completions and turns them into 50 -yard TDs because he runs away from people. We lack that.
  24. Miles Garrett or Trey Hendrickson is going to Washington. They have a lot of cap space and I'm not sure which one, but one of them is. The Chargers are also a playoff team with over 90 million in cap space. Both teams have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in this years draft too.
