  1. Really the same thing (a sack) could have happened on the "beautiful" bomb that he connected on. While pretty, that throw was late, it should have been in the air 20-25 yards earlier. That's how you avoid sacks, not playing street ball and chucking it downfield as far as you can. It worked out because of the type of "talent" JP has.
  2. Not that I'm busting on you in particular because your thoughts are okay, but I corrected your statement above. Without the internet, a lot of people would be talking to their pets and parents instead of polluting unsuspecting individuals' ears. Gotta take the good with the "targeted to be ignored".
  3. Disagree. There was a show on tnt in the mid/late ninties that I thought was better. I think it was Vic Carrucci (sp?, the guy who is on the golf channel), James Lofton and Ron Meyer, if I remember correctly. They had a ticker running during the show that listed every stat for every player. Plus good insight, especially from Meyer.
  4. FWIW I heard on the news that they signed Najeh Davenport.
  5. I'm glad I was sitting down.
  6. Ummm... You're not suggesting run, run, pass are you?!?!?! Of course not, of course not. You're expecting the run, pass, run that works great all the time. Really it's about execution. You have to remember we are running a somewhat new offense this year and it will take time. Peters didn't help either. If we're not run blocking well now, then let's not do it until we're in the lead.
  7. Did somebody mention donuts?
  8. The important time to be happy is week 16 and 17. I'm hoping for you, because they'll be a lot of happy Bills fans right along with you.
  9. Sounds like a young team learning and working things out. Enjoy the ride. At least we are on a road heading in the correct direction.
  10. Should be similar to what happened in Washington when Collins took over for Campbell under Saunders. All of a sudden the offense became competent. The question is how long Green will be in there and how much he will help the offense. The players will perk up if they are playing well enough to be in the game. Hopefully we'll cram the ball down their throat, win time of possesion and send them back to St L with another L. Seems like it's been a long time since I've thought the offense can drive the win instead of hoping the defense needs to lead the way. It's kind of nice.
  11. Someone just responded to you - thinking you were a Philly fan of course... GoJags4362seats (6 minutes ago) Report Violation For Falstaff in Philly- Lincoln Financial Field has a seating capacity of 67,594. Even with the seats covered at JMS, the seating capacity is 67,164. Do you get it now or do Jag fans again have to spell it out for uneducated, trash-talking, so-called NFL fans. The city of Jacksonville required that the stadium be built large enough to host the FL/GA game and the Gator Bowl. But that's too big for our market size, so the covers bring the seating capacity in line with the market. Maybe it's even too big, but we've always had to overachieve. Compare the market size of Philly to the market size of J-ville and see the comparable size of our stadiums. J-ville is doing pretty well when you look at it from an educated view instead of a stupid, smack-talk view. I wish ESPN would state these things so Jag fans wouldn't have to all the time.
  12. Don't forget there's a whole other side of the ball. The jags defense will try and step up for the problems on o, we need hold onto the ball.
  13. I just wished he had come in with enough time to get ready for week 1. Other than that, business is business. Sometimes business sucks.
  14. I don't know for sure, but he's probably referring to "picking the Bills" because he had multiple offers from teams after the draft, even though nobody actually picked him in the draft.
  15. Not yet, but he's circling the drain. He also clearly know's where he stands with regards to the rest of the DT's, just in case he thought being a 1st round pick was going to help him.
  16. And everyone else is going to follow their blueprint, that's all I'm saying.
  17. Plus teams are/were going to be bringing the pressure on Brady after that Super Bowl loss. I'm sure the tape of that was a hot commodity this summer.
  18. Try this www.justin.tv/sesame_street
  19. Stream is shut down for 24 hours. Someone around page 23 posted an audio link.
  20. Not a great throw - but catchable. Looked like the timing was off, the ball was on top of Lynch as he was turning around.
  21. Nice seal block by royal on that first down
  22. They must have put the fear of God into that punter at halftime.
  23. Maybe not, but we're going to be in a lot of games this year, not hoping for some miracle in the fourth quarter.
  24. We ARE blowing them out of the water!!!
