  1. Anderson is 2 for 90 and Bills still cant beat Cleve. What a joke. Season over if this is a loss.
  2. So you want to play the I know everything about you by one statement you made on a website game? OK here is my take on you. You spend a ton of money every month on Lotto and scratch offs trying to improve your mundane existence and when asked you insist you are ahead. BTW, If you dont think the NFL will soon pass up the NBA in terms of employing thugs, you have your head burried in the sand. This is THE big problem for Goodell right now.
  3. These people never learn. Hang around with these NFL players and you are lucky if you only get beat up. Some didn't escape with their head.
  4. Your point is well taken however Snyder sees it more as a rich mans hobby while Ralph runs a much tighter ship in a business sense. I think Snyder would be happy to break even at years end and be satisfied with a continuing rise in franchise value. FWIW, these theoretical franchise valuations as stated would indicate they have been insulated from one of the worst recessions on record. These guys are too smart to sell into these economic conditions. Given that no franchise has actually sold recently I would take those estimates with a grain of salt.
  5. Hey NYC Bill...Hope Trent and T.O. have a huge day and Maybin gets in and knocks Brees down a few times. Go Bills, kick some New Orleans azz.....................!
  6. What can you say here? This was the Rich Kotite Bowl. Could be worst coached game in years (by both teams obviously)
  7. Merry Xmas to all Bills fans. Since Losman is starting, common sense would say the Jets should win today but common sense and New York Jets do not belong in the same sentence. The Bills started their collapse early in the season after starting well. The Jets waited to begin their collapse later in the season which I think is even worse from a fans POV. Here is Buffalos chance to stick a dagger in the heart of the Jets playoff chances and have downstaters back to saying "same old Jets" Will that happen? Who the hell knows with these 2 teams. FWIW, I still think NE will win the AFCE and I know that makes all NY football fans pissed off. Good luck today with no injuries. LI Phil
  8. Seeing you praise the coaching abilities of both Mangini and Edwards can only lead me to one conclusion. As a young child, you must have been dropped on your head.....................................multiple times. Edwards is Rich Kotites twin brother from a different mother. Neither one of them could coach a starving pit bull out of an open cage if they were waving a 5lb porterhouse steak at them. Edwards inherited a talent rich team, ready to contend, from the Parcells era, and promptly ran it into the ground. Then, behind mgmnts back, as the Jets were losing because of his ineptitude, like the scum bag he is, he negotiated a job with the Chiefs. BTW:You could have coached the team he was handed into the playoffs. (Head injury and all) If you want to compare Mangini to Edwards I would agree Mangini certainly is smarter. But look at it this way, its like comparing the village idiot to a cement block and declaring what a genius he is. Mangenius will be Manjobless if the Jets crash and burn this year.
  9. Nice job on the preview. Informative, well done. However: "The team gave up on Aussie import Ben Graham after the loss to the Eagles, turning to free agent Reggie Hodges to fill the job. So far, there’s not much difference; if anything, Hodges’ net average is even worse. He has placed five of 12 kicks inside the 20, though. " Jets have not played the Eagles this year. Best of luck today and enjoy the game.
  10. Hearing rumors Jackson will start today. Any truth here? Jets receivers are hurting. Could spell big trouble for NY. Farve has been practicing throwing to his own team all week. Should help. Is McKelvin gonna start? Would like to see the kid play. Holding him out seems to be impeding his developement. Shoebel has owned Ferguson in prior meetings. Think D'Brick is happy today? Poz is your tackle machine, Harris is ours and he is out. Watch out for Calvin Pace. He is everything Gholston was supposed to be. Jets and fans really fear Evans. Deservedly so. He can make all the difference today. I think this is gonna be a really good game. Thanks for letting me visit. PS, Please kick the snot out of NE.
  11. You dont like the cheesey smell just put your shoes back on.
  12. OUCH!......Did you have to bring Gholston up? Cant really say how he is going to turn out as we have seen VERY little of him. I am cautiously pessimistic. However, TE Dustin Keller looks to be a great pick as is Dwight Lowrey. Keller can fly and has great hands and makes nice yrd after catch. Lowrey was a 4th round steal. Cant believe he lasted that long. Having said that, Trent will probably scorch him tommorow.
  13. Hello to all you wonderful Bills fans. Hope you are all well and keeping warm in beautiful upstate NY. Us downstate NYJ fans are looking foward to Sundays game and I must say we have been very impressed with the 08 Bills thusfar. Seems your team has really turned the corner this year. I know its early but its awfully nice NOT seeing N.E. at the top of the AFCE So, what do you think? Does Farve hand it to you guys on a platter with 4 picks or does he have one of his good games this week? Do you think ML will have any running room? With the way Jenkins, Pace, Barton have been playing for us it is gonna be tough to run for him this week. We do not fear ML like we did with Willis. I think our most solid LB, Harris is out and that could hurt. Must say though Trent is a guy we fear. If he is on we are probably screwed. He and Evans could REALLY light us up. Your d-line injuries could really help us run sunday. T Jones has been solid this year and Leon Washington is quite a weapon whether it be returning kicks recieving or rushing. Keep an eye on him. He is fun to watch. Hey lets hope for an injury free well played game and may the team that plays better walk away with the "W". Well I gotta go now my mother is yelling down to me. (I still live in the basement) because I am tying up her phoneline. Dial-up service sux. So long till next NYJ / Bills game. Your downstate friend. LI Phil All right MAAAAAH ! Im logged offfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff Christ! What a PIA she is.
  14. BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Bills' Marshawn Lynch has admitted he was behind the wheel of his SUV when he hit a woman and left the scene a month ago. Lynch apologized to the victim Friday before heading into the Department of Motor Vehicles office to plead guilty to a traffic infraction -- failure to exercise due care. The plea was part of a deal reached by Lynch's lawyer and the Erie County District Attorney's office last week that will allow the running back to avoid a criminal charge. The deal was announced shortly before a grand jury was to begin hearing testimony from Bills players and executives to determine whether Lynch was driving the Porsche Cayenne in the city's bar district early on May 31. 15. Hi Bill! I already have a good idea of what you will expect from a first round DB and I pretty much feel the same way. (see Darelle Revis) Only an immediate contribution will silence the naysayers. We both agree that 1st round selections are a safer bet when the player is huge, nasty and play either OL or DL or a once every 10 yrs cant miss QB and he is none of these. Must say though that the buzz on this guy is really really positive. Could be a great pick. LI Phil
  16. As fans of a team that has not made the playoff since the last century, shares the record for LOSING the most title games and has one foot in Toronto and the other on a banana peel, I can understand how you find solace in the NFL draft. Heck Mike Williams seemed like a great pick at the time. Keep picking 1st round DB's however and even Toronto may not want the team.
  17. Hey, thanks for repeating what I posted 2 hrs previously. It made nervous guy so nervous he locked it so that a REAL Bills fan could report it 2 hrs later.
  18. Carolina Panthers. Believe he signed a 2 year deal. Glad he didnt sign with Dolphins. I think he still has good potential. Carr, made the decision after returning from a two-day visit with the Seattle Seahawks.
  19. Jones was traded by the Bears' along with their second-round pick (63rd overall) in the 2007 draft to the Jets for New York's second-round pick (37th pick) in this year's draft. Sounds like they raped the Bears to me.They get Thomas and still have 2 picks in 2nd rnd. Some on this thread referred to him as small. The dude is 5'10" 225 and strong as hell. He is a serious upgrade from Kevin Barlow and Cedric Houston. He has been a pretty nice reciever and had 1 fumble last year. He should pair well with Leon Washington who is fast, elusive and talented but is not an every down back. He destroyed N.O. in the playoffs and ran for over 100yds in the S.B. As a Jet fan I think Tannenbaum pulled off a nice deal. Improvement without giving much at all. BTW Congrats, looks like Bills have done a real good job improving the O-Line. Willis (if he is still around) should go for over 200 Vs. NYJ now. Phil
  20. Humanitarian my a$$. They knew he wouldnt survive the injury long term but by keeping him alive it let them build up a nice supply of top shelf horse sperm so they could still make millions off him.
  21. Thank you for stating so clearly why the Pats will probably be falling back into the pack in the next year or so.That being said, I really feel strongly that the Bills, by virtue of Losmans emergence, the development of a good left tackle, and all-pro DE, a genuine deep threat in Evans, a major league HC in Jauron,a VERY strong finish to their season etc etc etc AND........ For the NYJ's a nice draft with Mangold and Fergie and Johnson. A top notch OC in B.Schott really helps. He has shown himself to very inovative even handcuffed with a dead arm QB. Mangini looks like the real deal. Why shouldnt these two teams battle for the AFC east?!?!? Stop being so pessimistic. Things are on the upswing for both teams. .......FINALLY
  22. Its obvious that Jets and Bills were the only 2 AFC east teams to improve this past season. JP Losman showed he is gonna be a good NFL QB and the Bills finished very strongly. The Jets had a nice draft and performed above anyones expectations and may have a good coach for years to come. The Dolphins will have a new coach again and with an aging defense should continue to suck. Are the Patriots the team to beat? Of course. However, I say they will take a step backwards next year leaving the Bills and Jets to battle for the division. Happy winter! Phil
