  1. In that case, I completely agree with you! I also think that it is ridiculous how much flack WM has been taking. Like Ramius said, these are VOLUNTARY workouts. I'm sure that Mcgahee will show up in camp in great shape. If used correctly, he may become the best RB in the NFL!! Let's go Buffalo!
  2. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE!! The 2 players we absolutely can't get rid of are Moorman and Mcgee. Where would we have been last year if it hadn't been for the play of the special teams??
  3. Oh please! Where do I start? I agree with you that Nall has the arm to make the deep throws in our new offense, but so does JP! We don't even know what we have yet in JP. Obviously, the Packers weren't sold on this guy because they desperately wanted to draft Losman, and they did draft Rogers. If this guy had soo much potential, why did the Pack let him go?? Also, as far as Losman's QB rating is concerned, I happen to remember another number 7 that was drafted in 1983. His first year as a starter was absolutely horendous!! His QB rating was like below 50 if I remember correctly. All he did was go on and become the best QB to ever play the game! Am I saying that Losman will be the next Elway, absolutely not. But I am saying that we need to give one FULL SEASON as the starter before giving the job to someone else. My prediction is 85% Losman, 15% Nall, 0% Holcomb, 0% Ochs, 0% Woodbury
  4. I agree. He'll be a great change of pace, but he has had knee trouble, and I don't know if he had to be the starter, incase WM goes down with an injury, if he could withstand the wear and tear of an entire season. I like Washington from FSU, and Riggs from UT as a late round pick.
  5. I COMPLETELY AGREE with you! I don't care who's available at #8. If he's not an offensive or defensive lineman, I DON'T want him. Many of you keep forgetting the key to a successful team: you have to win the battle in the trenches. Right now, there are only a few guys on both sides of the ball that I think can get the job done in the trenches. Jason Peters, Aaron Schobel, Larry Triplett, and that's it! We need another pass rushing DE, a DT, a LT, LG, C, and an RG. We have to draft virtually one lineman with every pick! Yes, we do have other needs, but none are greater right now than linamen. Besides, who are we kidding? The only battle we'll win this year is the battle for third place in our division. Might as well just adress the lines, and get ready for the next season!!
  6. Yes, but who is going to fill in for Moulds as the possession receiver for this team??? All of our receivers (except Aiken) are kind of small. We need a bigger body to go over the middle! I like the guy from Notre Dame.
  7. I agree. I think there is alot of depth at RB in this draft, especially day 2 picks. Possibly Gerald Riggs Jr.???
  8. I am an FSU fan and I've seen alot of Wimbley and Bunkley. Personally, I think they are all they are made out to be, and more. I worry about Lawson because he did have the benefit of playing opposite of Williams.
  9. I would be devastated if we took him with the 8th pick!! Let's review the big problem areas for the Bills: O and D-linemen!!! The last thing we should want is this guy! Great talent yes, can help in the trenches, NO!!! Nagata or Bunkley for the Bills!!
  10. Yeah, this stinks!! Just because we are not from Western NY, that doesn't mean we don't fully support the Buffalo Bills!! :angry:angry
  11. I like many of your picks, except for the 73rd overall. I think Mel is right- we need to take Stovall with that pick. I'm telling you, he is the perfect replacement for Moulds! I think he's the best receiver in the whole draft!! GO BUFF!!
  12. No, it wasn't. However, I do believe that we will fix this problem in the upcoming draft. We have ten picks with which to fix the O-line, D-line, and add depth at corner, LB, and SS. We will probably draft at least two interior linemen on the first day. Who knows, if we are able to trade away our 8th overall and pick within the top 15, we would then be able to add a couple of quality selections on day one.
  13. JP will be the starting QB in 2006. He has way too much potential, and, let's face it, had a HORRENDOUS O'line last season. I don't know why there is so much negative talk against this guy! Compare his first season stats to those of John Elway. If memory serves correctly, Elway had a QB rating under 50, and Losman had one above 60! You guys are being ridiculous! Just because his first season numbers aren't as good as Roethlisberger's and Marino's doesn't mean the guy is a bust. For crying aloud, you guys are saying that Elway would have been a bust! At least give this guy 16 starts before you write him off as a bust. It's not like we are ready for the playoffs. Plus, we gave RJ alot longer before writing him off as a bust!!! Let's go Buffalo!!!
  14. I completely agree! I saw him in a few games this year, and I believe that he is the best WR in the draft! He would be a great replacement for Moulds because he has great size. Git 'er dun Buffalo!!
  15. I agree with your analysis of the two players. I really like Hixon from Akron. Yeah, he may make a good SS, but don't count him out as WR. By the way, shouldn't we be worrying about first day draft picks first? We need to figure out what we need to do with our 8 overall pick to make sure he doesn't turn into as big of a bust as our last top ten pick did!
  16. I admit that it would be nice, but I see a fatal flaw in his predictions, and that's his pick for the Saints. I hate to say it, but the Saints are going to take D'Brick number 2 overall. The Jets would then be left with no other option other than to take Cutler. I mean come on people, does anyone really think that Ramsey will be their answer to their QB woes, assuming that Pennington does not come back to full strength???
  17. Being an FSU fan, I really like what I see out of Brodrique Bunkley. He seems to be a player that would fit well in the Bills new defensive scheme. However, I don't think he's worth the 8th overall, but he would be a steal in the second. Other than him, I'm not really excited about any other DT's (other than Ngata).
  18. Are you comletely out of your mind Frenchie? You really think you can plug any big man into your O-line and get the desired results?? If that's the case, then WHY was Mike Williams such a bust? I completely disagree with your post. Football games are won and lost in the trenches. Buffalo, draft some quality O-linemen please!!
  19. I have only one main issue with picking Justice early in the 1st, and that is that we drafted a "franchise tackle" with the 4th overall selection a few years ago, Mike Williams, and look where he is now! Off the roster! I agree with the statement about how we desperately need to fix the O-line, but I don't want another huge bust!!
  20. I agree! With ten picks we should be able to shore up our OL and DL, SS, QB, and add depth at LB. Okay, maybe that's a little too far-fetched, but we do have the opportunity to greatly upgrade these positions. Get 'er done Marv!!
  21. Give me a break! Obviously the Texans were the only team willing to make a trade with us for EM. We all knew that Moulds would not play for us nest season, and a 5th for a 10 year vet that had a subpar season isn't a bad trade. It's a whole lot better than getting nothing for him when we would release him after the draft!
  22. I agree with most of what you are sayin', but if one of the two Qb's are still on the board at 8, and Losman is traded (which I think would be a horrible move), then we better take a QB. If we hold on to Losman, then we should try to trade down into the late teens and try to acquire another second rounder. With that extra pick, we should select the receiver out of Notre Dame to replace Moulds as our possession receiver. If someone would tell me the receiver's name, I'd appreciate it!
  23. If Losman does not win the starting job, then Nall will. Think about it, do we really think that KH has a strong enough arm to get us to the playoffs? I think he's a fine backup, but just isn't starting material in this stage of his career. Plus, we need to go with the future. We do not have a playoff caliber team this year.
  24. I have no clue why there has been so much Marv bashing. I mean, come on guys, give the guy a break! He led our team through the glory years, and alot of you are throwing him under the bus just because you're not thrilled with his current moves. Heck, we gave Donahoe more of a chance than we are giving our HOF coach! It's not like ML is inheriting a great situation. Let's give him at least 2 years before we go bashing his regime! LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!
