  1. Now you went and did it. Read CTMs post and reread my previous response before you make quick judgements and instead of pissing off, you should respond calmly with your own individual perspective. Does you no good, but if name calling is your game, reap the Tsunami. This group is well practiced in the field as well as on this board. Just a friendly warning...if you don't take it then don't say I didn't warn you.
  2. Yeh, I read that one and stayed the hell away from it.
  3. Ah man are you going to make him come up with a quote, actually I think Cheney said something to that effect, not sure about Bush.
  4. Interesting point, but Bush found Jeesuus? Doesn't he get a pass?
  5. Sounds like a Mass hole, cept probaby half of your Chevy is a toyota. You are really on the wood thing, got a great band for you..."Morning Wood" The Lead Singer is a well endowed hottie chick. Might that satify the wood fetish? http://www.morningwoodrocks.com/photos.asp
  6. Ah you are learning, just seeing how far you would go with it...LOL Actually, minus the goofy analogies, it is a vexing problem unless there is a whole sale change in the practice of religion.
  7. Ah, got it. Then what? Is it possible to train or guide...ants?
  8. Couldn't agree more, which means that dealing with right wing Muslims is akin to fighting my younger brother, tore him up good and yet he kept coming at me. The only way to diffuse him was to sit on him, not punching him, until he calmed down and I could get away safely. Analogy only, but it is the only one I can think of that might fit how to deal with Iraq.
  9. Blind nationalism, depends on what you mean...do we blindly support this President...no, do we think of foreign policy in term of the U.S. v. the rest of the World, probably, but not more than say the Chinese, the French, Germans etc. I am not sure that the statement is a meaningful one. Please clarify?
  10. Helluv a thing to have to deal with, much prefer the catholic peace/life sanctity adage, even though it is hypocritical.
  11. LOL, thought you would like this one!
  12. Now this is thought provoking and refreshing in many ways. It presents the conundrum the US faces in dealing with fundalmentalist Muslim beliefs in the ME. http://news.yahoo.com/s/usatoday/20060324/...risingconsensus From a rhetorical standpoint this argument reinforces Bush doctrine, even though in Iraq, I think it was the wrong decision for tactical reasons, interesting.
  13. Yeh, I know you are bitter with the whole darn process and in many ways I do not blame you. The only one out there now that I like from my side is NJ Governor Corzine and on the GOP side Sen. Chuck Hagel. The Tennessee thing and the WV thing really bothered me a lot, would've made Florida irrelevant, but the Gun thingy screwed that one up and left it to Florida controllled by GOP led infrastructure. The whole thing was a debacle and since Gore couldn't handle it, I will concede he wasn't the right person to lead. I just believe that neither is Bush and both parties have to do better before I learn to like it.
  14. Oh I vaguely remember that there were counts the other way, just nothing official. GOP insured that, but I still am going to whine about it, so shoot me. At least I am above board with it and not in denial like my GOP Bush opologists...their response is usually some excuse like it is the medias fault. In this case I still blame the Gore campaign for not anticipating the GOP maneuvering quickly enough before it was too late. Kinda like Bush and Rummy in Iraq....hmm. Just that whining is sometimes cathartic (sp?) and solidifies my bitterness (sarcasm).
  15. sWhat do you think and from a Republican Governor, shame on him. Hence, why NY taxes system is inane and overburdensome. This sounds like a communist plot to redistribute income, with a Republican twist. Nothing like Tammany Hall.
  16. It will be interesting how this plays out, it crosses political lines and for a variety of reasons, should make for some strange non-partisan bed fellows. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...785.html?sub=AR
  17. Look I don't know Gore's FP leanings, other than the environmental stuff, so I am not going to try and predict. Nice shot though, except the Taliban he might have gone after for defacing the Budhist statues. From a purely military mechanical point of view, wouldn't it have been better to go after Osama like a blood hound, drop a bunch of Bombs on the Taliban and stay out of Afganistan, instead of actually invading. It just seems that this country is filled with historical trouble for invading forces no matter what the intentions.
  18. I am not sure that is accurate, Gore was much more oriented towards FP and that is probably where he would have differed with Clinton the most.
  19. "The tradition in this country of a law enforcement agency that had absolute power over people, we've got to break them of that. I think it'll take years. You can't change a cultural mind-set overnight. " MAJ. ANDREW CREEL, on training Iraqi security forces in proper treatment of detainees.
  20. Yeh, and I was at a party on Capitol Hill, 2nd and D when a stray went through the window and imbedded itself in the wall through the metal stair case to the roof balconey where everyone was walking up to. No one was hurt, but we never heard anything. Scary...just think Guns mixed with any kinda of drugs or alcohol should be a felony, no extenuating circumstances and with a mandatory minimum of 15 years. And I would be agressive with it. I believe that gun negligence or on purpose punishments should be raised. Still no easy button to address this issue, however, no excuses DC.
  21. The W key removal did happen, I did not participate in it, but know it did happen. Thought it was and still do think that it was funny, even if it was immature. Just another thing for lemming ill humoured Republicans to whine about.
  22. Ah, and the trap is set...hmm, from my political perspective yes...as a leader of the U.S. either choice wasn't great..that is why I thought you were moving to Europe. Also, it depends on who Gore put around him for policy advice, don't think that can be any worse. Not sure he would have handled the P.R.....sales job any better. They both suck at it.
  23. If so and since I don't know you personally, I have to respect that. But, the rest of your party doesn't and differentiating becomes mute when one is doing it and another is not. When we can get both parties to agree hands off then I will buy that arguement, but at least I can better understand and respect your stance. In this case though the act was portrayed by you as selfless and I couldn't disagree more and it is in the political post section, so how else am I to discuss it.
  24. On that issue I am, the recount was a mess. Missing votes showing up months afterwards make Phili politics look above board. Katherine Harris should be in jail, if nothing else for the makeup and facelift job she had should be a crime.
