  1. Everett has been a total bust...Looks like Tarzan///plays like Jane..I remember The Coach saying that about Lonnie Johnson back in the day.I think Lonnie was better though. I asked awhile back if it was needed to have both DT's undersized in the Cover 2..It seems some beef is needed.Anderson sure aint the answer..Huge linebackers..maybe? I like Kelsay..but Denney/Hargrove can fill in.Too many other positions that need upgrade.
  2. Hope all turns out well...all our prayers are with them.
  3. He is a good QB and has two of the best recievers in the NFL as targets...factor in the fact they cannot run the ball at all and Minnesota probably playing soft zone later in the game = 400 yds.
  4. Danke.. Someone mentioned in another thread about getting Ron Edwards back..He had some beef and did not seem like total slug.Maybe a decent idea...I like Kyle Williams but he doesnt seem ready for every down duty and Anderson is not cutting it at all.
  5. I was asking myself the same question...did he even see the field today?
  6. Is it needed in the Cover 2 to have both DT's smaller/quicker type players? It would seem having a more space eater type next to Larry would be the way to go.Not being a smartass..just asking.
  7. Hargrove or Denney might be taking his spot next year.I like him but if the cash gets stupid let him go.DT and OL should be top priority.
  8. Ditto that. They did enough on O to grind out a tough win...The D had its moments but started to fold towards the end.
  9. For a 5th round,i agree.Once he gets more familiar w/the system...i think we will be seeing much more of that style of play.
  10. Just the fact that Peters is doing great at LT is a huge plus for this team...god forbid if we had to go out and sign or draft one. JP wasnt pretty today but he played well and has shown some clutchness(sp)..
  11. I'm starting to agree...It's not always pretty but he seems to be really making strides now.Listening to him talk...it's pretty hard to hate the guy.
  12. I remember Tampa picking in the top 3 every year...they still sucked. Great win for the Bills!!!
  13. Weak pass rush = secondary getting smoked. That has a lot to do with it.I think Nate is a quality CB but would i break the bank to sign him...no.
  14. He has been a total non factor since his return.I know his injury was awful...but he is not even close to the player he was at this point.I hope he makes his way back...at this time it aint looking good.
  15. Yeah...the passing game is just brutal.I can't lay all the blame on Losman (though he deserves a big chunk). The whole right side of the OL are turnstiles and our recievers are below average....not to mention Fairchilds penchant for calling deep drops...when you should know you are not going to have he time to get those plays off.Even when they can run the ball some...nothing opens up in the passing game, that is sad.I don't think Nall is the answer but i think this JP's last year here.
  16. I agree.I don't think we have seen the offense open up yet (and it will this week,i think).I'm not saying we are playoff ready...but opening the season on the road against two teams who were picked as the cream of the AFC east and coming away with a split...(could have easily been 2-0).Well that should breed a bit of confidence.
  17. Well said and 100% true..Hell it looked like Denney (at DE) was a flop..not so much now.Give the kid some time..geez.
  18. I can't believe the "size" thing is still going strong as of today.Deion Branch and Santana Moss are not huge recievers by any stretch..don't hear much complaining 'bout them. (i know they are bigger than RP and they have proven more) It happened with Whitner to an extent also..Had he been 6' 1" 215 i doubt you would have heard much griping at all. Its sad really.
  19. Man...i'm sooo happy right now.I agree though..gotta keep it up! Go Bills!!!
  20. Ditto that.We have to watch Watson and Graham though...Brady is going to be looking to them early and often.
  21. I'm very happy for them. It's still going to be a bumpy ride but Gill and crew deserve congrats. The road to respectability has had its first brick laid down.
  22. It was a nice way to end the preseason..Cannot wait for the opener!
  23. If they plan on running alot of 3 or 4 wide sets...i say keep 6 WR's.Right now its pretty hard for me to say who i want gone.Fast Freddie i guess..
