  1. I bet you he'd be a great special teams guy as well. He's right up Levy's alley.
  2. I like Graham but would rather have someone like Watson. I know he's not a free agent but I think we need more of that H type pass catcher. Especially if were locked into the same recievers for next year. Graham would be great but I think Royal is kind of the poor mans version.
  3. I think we almost have to keep Reed. I have a feeling Price is on borrowed time.
  4. Draft- Eric Flowers, Perry Tuttle FA- Vince Fagano, Trade- Rob Johnson Administration- Letting Polian leave Coaches- Hank Bullough, Kay Stevenson Others? Draft- Reed and Thomas FA- ? Lofton, Fletcher Trade- Bennet Adminstration- Hiring Polian Coach-Levy Others?
  5. Pevious posts made it clear that the Bills should focus on keeping their own free agents. I agree. BUT ...I think, if they want to make a seroius run in the AFC, they would need to be a little more active in the off-season. Their are some wasted roster spots that could be filled with more productive players. Here are some of the needs that need to be filled. Shaud Williams- - -replaced with a real 3rd down back Tim Anderson----with a DT that fits more their scheme. Everett- - - With a stretch the field big target wr'ing te. Reyes- - Young Gaurd to challenge Duke would be great. It would also allow Gandy to bump out in case of injury at OT. Price/Reed---I like both of them but a big WR at Z and one of these guys or Parish in the slot would be better. Haggan - -They need a linebacker that cannot only play special teams but could actually play some defense. I'm not trying to be negative..just would like to know what you think.
  6. We have a young team that is looking for leadership and both of these guys set terrible examples. I know they've done soooo much for us in the past that it would be hard to get rid of them. You can't always trade players that other teams find worthless or players that have made it known that they don't want to play for you. LONG TERM DEAL? If the bills aren't successful this year(which we won't be) they'll both be demanding to get out. We'll end up trading them and getting half of what we could get for them now. Thats why a guy like Culpepper only warrented a 2nd round pick and Moulds got us nothing. The Patroits dumped Bledsoe and Milloy if this happened a year earlier their fans would of raised hell. When you STINK everything should be considered. We stink, Nate and Willis are a part of it.
  7. He has stepped it up a little but he had all of season to purchase a house. Those three days he was busy???
  8. I don't care what we get. I don't see either one of these guys emboding the sort of character it takes to turn things around. They're more likley to bring us down than anything else.
  9. I'm sick of the crap some of the Bills “star players” are pulling with organization. I wouldn't care if the Bills dumped Clements and McGahee. Neither one of these players are talented enough to supersede the expectations of the team. Start fresh with people that are willing to WORK to win. Willis is lazy and pampered. I'd rather not spend the next couple of years wishing for him to reach his potential only to be disappointed because he's not willing to work for it. If Nate feels that he's too good for the Bills then let him go to. Use these guys to help get players that are willing to pay the price. It's clear that both of these players are in it for themselves. They feel that they can use their status to take advantage of the organization when it's down. They don't have the intelligence nor the care to see that things can change quickly in the NFL. They could catalyze change for the Bills making themselves more marketable and the Bills more successful. Instead they act like losers. With the salary cap the way it is, teams can’t stockpile talent so organizations need to create a good healthy TEAM environment. I think that the Steelers and Patriots have exemplified this and the Bills should follow.
  10. I really like the idea of going with Justice and Joesph 1 and 2. for a couple of reasons. 1. This way no one pick will be burden the giant whole left by Don-nowho. This will also allow each player to develop. It should ensure that if a Mike Williams scenerio emerges with one of these guys it won't be such the disaster. 2. Offensive linemen play every down. I would spend these higher picks on guys that play every down rather being a part of a rotation. Nagat and his lack of conditioning is almost guaranteed to come out on all third downs. 3. Both third picks could be spent of Dt's. This would bolster the rotation that is not lacking talent just thin.
  11. Great post but I would just say a couple of things. I really thing they should try everything possible (trade down)to take offensive line with there first two picks and then again in the later rounds. This gives them a couple of different scenerios to get it right. If it's Joseph and Justice then only one of them has to start this year in order for us to get better. I would imagine that both would end up starting in the end, but with both of them picked no one player is burdened to fix such a giant need. Traditionally Dt's can be filled in the 3rd and 4th rounds.
  12. From what I've read and saw he seems to be a quality person/player. Let's hope he's there. I was thinking that maybe Seattle or Pittsburgh may grab him as a "best player" type pick in the 1st round.
  13. Very little doubt that Joseph will be a stud just not sure that he'll be there in the 2nd.
  14. In regards to their offensive line... We don't even have a starter let alone a Pro Bowler in those positions. We've built our o-line with poor draft day decisions and other teams scrap's for free agents. Villarrial, Anderson and Gandy wouldn’t even be on most team's depth charts. They left as their previous teams without a fight. Gandy played okay(over his head) but he was also playing for his life in the NFL...look for his production to drop. If he didn't start at Left Tackle for us he was out of the NFL. Villarrial is the old man that most teams would be looking to replace. but He's our center piece. Anderson got a standing ovation when he left Baltimore. Peters is a project that was supposed to be a left tackle that played TE and then had to move to the right side. Hopefully we haven't screwed him up. Trey Teague will need to pay his next team to just be on their sideline. THIS WAS OUR STARTING LINE!!!!! More holes than the TITANIC.
  15. Dudeman was great at Tulane. University of Illinois...New England Patriots different animal. In the pro's he's showen that his value is coming off the corner or stopping the run. He struggles against the pass and when the system calls for him to cover he bitches and refuses to practice. If he's causing trouble for Joe Gibbs what will he do to Jauron? Like I said 54 million for a crying linebacker perfect for lets go get him.
