  1. These teams look pretty good to me.
  2. Psyched for LSU. Watching UM-Wisc and never thought I see these two teams line up and throw it all over the field like they have in the first quarter.
  3. They got whooped in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Still can’t run. Haskins is a hero.
  4. You’re lucky - this game is painful to watch.
  5. Thanks. I’m nervous for Joe Burrow against Georgia.
  6. This pic from 2014 is my favorite memory of a Minnesota game. Tough game in freezing wind and snow, and this coach is on the sideline enjoying an ice cream right in Ohio State’s face. Legend. After the game Urban Meyer said, in response to a question about whether Ohio State earned enough “style points” in the 31-24 victory, that he challenges any program in America to travel to Minnesota in late-November and try to win a football game in these conditions. It ain’t easy.
  7. 96 yds in 2:30 for the game winning TD against PSU #DwayneTrain
  8. Lol
  9. Ballsy drive for that kid.
  10. Are you hate-watching this game?
  11. Halftime can’t come soon enough.
  12. And also the bottles of urine that the fans have been known to throw.
  13. Not sure, but I think whiteouts during the day are kind of goofy and not nearly as effective as they are at night.
  14. I’m loving Wisconsin-Iowa. 17-14 Hawkeyes after three lead changes.
  15. Michigan looked amazing today. Defense is top end and the offense is coming together with Patterson and Higdon. I’m concerned. Meanwhile, Wisconsin-Iowa is a hugely entertaining B1G game. I’m glad the Buckeyes don’t currently play that way, but it’s fun to watch two teams line up and just try to out muscle each other.
  16. No doubt. I think that was the year Joey G set all the passing records that Haskins is about to break.
  17. I road-tripped to PSU as a freshman in 1994 to watch Ki-Jana Carter run up the score on a good OSU team right after PSU joined the conference. That sucked. After that “fluke,” PSU wasn't really on my radar until Pryor’s Buckeyes ran into a buzzsaw during the first nighttime whiteout I can remember. Since then those games have been nearly impossible to win on the road. I currently think of MSU as a bigger rival mostly because of Dantonio’s connection to OSU as defensive coordinator during the national championship run in 02. He runs that program similarly to the way Tressel ran the OSU program, which will always cut deep for OSU fans. Losses in the conference championship in 13 and a terrible home loss in 15 (on my 40th birthday) sealed the OSU-MSU game as a bitter rivalry for me.
  18. 304 yards and 5 TDs in the first half is pretty wild. Plus, it was good to see Pryor and Browning making plays - they must know it’s put-up or sit-down time. Can’t wait for next week.
  19. Yeah, I joked upthread that Davis would be Public Enemy #1 now that Smith is gone, but he deserves it at this point. OSU recruits the same level of talent at LB as it does every other position group, so the reason LBs are so far behind the rest has got to be poor coaching. Davis's NFL experience isn't translating to the college game for whatever reason. Without significant improvement, he will not be the position coach in 2019. I'm actually feeling really good about the secondary. Okudah and Sheffield at corners, Fuller and Wade at safety. That works for me - assuming Wade can make the transition to safety. He's a beast that should be on the field, and I can see him developing into a ball-hawking safety in the mold of Malik Hooker.
  20. That sounds about right. We’ll see what Urban says about it today but at this point I think there’s no chance he’ll play at PSU.
  21. The guys on Bucknuts Morning 5 today said it’s either a groin tear or maybe a hernia. He’s not out for the season, but he’ll be out for a while because if an injury like this does not heal properly there is a high likelihood that it becomes a long term issue. Maybe a month or so. Not a good situation for him and I expect the Bucks to be smart about getting him back to 100%.
  22. Now let’s get Kirby his 13.5 pts!
  23. Three drops and a terrible penalty? Yeah he had a rough half.
  24. Count me a fan of southern and west coast cheerleaders wayyyyy ahead of any squad anywhere else in the world. Maybe some Brazilian or Swedish squads could change my mind, but unless anyone has pics I’m not buying it. EDIT: I’ve also been drinking. Lol
  25. Patterson is living up to his reputation. Perfect gameplan that the Bucks will see over and over again just like Beamer’s “bear” against JT. Time for OSU’s pricey coaches to earn their paychecks with halftime adjustments.
