  1. Bruce had a quicker first step but Reggie was the more powerful man- Bruce would have had more sacks playing in a 4-3 but Reggie could play inside at DT too. LT Amazed me with his power - listed at 230 he many times just bull-rushed OLinemen or tossed them aside- C Bennett was as fast or faster but never had his power-

Bennett was fairly strong himself, I was watching an NFL films highlight tape from 1990 earlier on and I swear to god Bennett bullrushed his way through 3 guys who were blocking him to get to the quaterback and he knocked him out of the game.

  2. its amazing how bad TD was and how many people on this and other boards defended him...he was declared a salary cap genius for getting the bills out of so called cap jail, why?? because he cut a bunch of guys, does it really take a genius to do that?...he also signed and gave way too much money to guys past their prime like Troy Vincent, Lawyer Milloy and the Guard whose name I dare not mention

TD was a clown that cared more about being in the spotlight then building a quality football team

The real reason TD let him walk was because he didn't feel there would be a dropoff or a significant dropoff from Williams to Ron Edwards...that thinking right there sums up TD's skills as a talent evaluator.

  3. Back in the mid 80's, we saw the traveling show at the Watertown High School gym. They used step ladders to get into the ring, and Harley Race vs Macho Man was the headlining act. Since they had been in Syracuse a day or two before, I'd already seen the results in the paper before we even went. Highlight of the evening was when the popcorn machine set off the fire alarm, forcing everyone to go outside and wait till the fire dept said it was okay to go back in. While out there, Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth came out the same exit, since they had parked their car there. Miss Elizabeth sat in the car while Macho watched us all very carefully, even though security was there also. I was less than 10 feet away from them.

Did the Macho Man get a quick hummer in the backseat while everybody was waiting to get back inside? OOOOHHH YEAAAAHHH SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM

  4. Pat Williams is a great player and sorely missed to say the least. But as usual, when he talks bad things come out. He wrote more than his share of bad checks with his loud mouth leading up to games where the defense laid down. Actually, I believe Donahoe let him walk in part because he felt Williams epitomized the lack of heart the team showed at critical times during the Gregg Williams era. It's easy to forget as time passes, but the running theme with that team was no mental toughness. If past history is any indicator, put your money on the Packers in that game.

I strongly disagree with that statment, who do you think brought all those heartless, soft players to Buffalo in the first place? Big Pat was a beast in the middle, its too bad nobody else on that team had as much confidence as he did going into games. And dave mcbride is right, In what would turn out to be Pat Williams last game as a Buffalo Bill he played like a monster and was the only guy who played like he was playing for a playoff spot that day

  5. Sadly, all it is is the TV show and you are the studio audience. when USA goes to commercial, the action stops...no more multiple troupes of wrestlers traversing the country and putting on shows. I must say the hits really do look pretty rough in person, i expected to see big time whiffs and misses...but really, my 9 year old is a huuuuuuuuge fan, and he was so frigging thrilled to be there, i thought he would wet himself, so that alone made it worth every penny

Thats cool man, I'm glad to hear your son had a really good time. Thats what its all about <_<

  6. Have you talked to some of the rocket scientists making sandwiches at Subway? Of the three locations near my home, two are foreign-owned and most of the workers either don't understand or don't care what you're saying, and do whatever the eff they want. At the other one you have the pissed-off middle-aged workers who just want to get you out of there so fast that they don't care what your sub looks like.

Haha I forget where this was but it was out of town somewhere when I was with my father a few years ago, we stopped off at a Subway rest stop off a highway and the girl preparing my father's sandwich sneezed on it and he had to ask her to make her another one, the best part is when she goes "Sorry about that I've been sick"...the way she said it was like as if in her mind that made it ok to sneeze on the sandwich :wallbash:

  7. Most importantly for me I pray that this new policy won't have an impact on security guards telling fans to sit down and be quiet when opposing team's offenses are on the field and we are just trying to make some noise to help out our team. I honestly wouldn't be suprised though if that were the case with some of the jerks that work security there. If this season comes and go's and they really do try to quiet us down, I would seriously consider getting rid of my season tickets.

  8. Only other NFL stadium I've been to is Cleveland last year and it wasn't as loud or crazy for that matter as I was expecting but at the same time that was some of the most intense weather I've ever sat through in my life and that could've had an impact on the fans. IMO though right now Arrowhead is probably the loudest stadium in the NFL. Back in the late 80's, early 90's though I think we definately had the crown.
