  1. With the NHL and NBA playoffs in full swing it's got me thinking about all of the great championship match-ups that we should have gotten to see over the years.  Here's my list off the top of my head

85 Bears v.s. Marino's Dolphins(would've been a way more entertaining game and much better storyline with Miami being the only team that beat the Bears that year)

Bills v.s. Niners in the early 90s(How did this never happen??)

Jordan's Bulls v.s. Houston Rockets in the 90s(once again, just a timing thing where the stars didn't align at the right time)

Most recently for me would be The Penguins and The Blackhawks in the NHL...I had been wanting to see the two powerhouses of the modern era play for the Cup but now Chicago seems like they are on a steep decline

I'm sure I can think of some more but these are the most obvious ones to me

I'm seeing it tomorrow night.  So far the critics gave it bad reviews on Rotten Tomatoes but I only really pay attention to the audience scores.

I wouldn't be too worried about that, critics never give stoner movies good reviews.  Going to see it tonight, can't wait!

Admittedly there's always recency bias but someone combat this fiery hot take:

Did the 90s not give us the most dominant athletes in sports?

My case: MJ, Gretzky, bonds.. GOATS in their respective,

the plethora of QBs, Kelly, Marino, aikman, Favre, young, moon, elway. Not to mention Jerry rice, the GOAT until TB12 surpassed him.

Lance Armstrong, Pete Sampras, aggasi, Mike Tyson, fat Ronaldo, early toger woods.

At the time almost every sport had a GOAT in the 90s. Some of them are still there.

The 90s would have my vote for sure, but that also comes with some bias because that was the era I grew up in.

Trade back for picks next year that could get us a good QB then, and do the same next year if we don't get one then. Keep that conveyor belt going till we get a franchise QB type.

Not with all the picks of course, but with enough to get us a lot of capital next year.

Aside from accomplishing that, defense and OL, please.

i would be ok with trading back the 22nd pick but if we can get Roquan Smith I think they need to grab him..and I also think that has gotta be their plan B right now knowing McDermott's defensive background.

If no QB in the 1st, I'd build the offensive line in the 1st round with both picks. Get a top guard and a tackle. I'd look at WR, RB and LB in the 2nd and 3rd rounds ( best available from one of those spots ) unless a QB like Mason Rudolph is available.

While I agree we need to build the offensive line I would be disappointed if we stayed at 12 and 22 and used both picks for the offensive line.  If we are not spending picks to trade up then we can use some later round picks to bring in solid lineman.  At 12 we should really be hoping to get our hands on a difference maker like Roquan Smith.  Then I would go after best available defensive tackle at 22.

  6. My personal thoughts are they are going to do everything they possibly can to get in a position where they can draft a QB that they value enough to pull the trigger...IF they can.  From everything I am following/listening to league wide I think there are still some legitimate doubts NYG would be willing to part with the 2nd pick, and the cost of trading up in general at any spot might just cost too much.  I think if Beane can't get the right offer for the right price, they could go to a plan B where they stay at 12 and go after Edmunds or Smith.  Just my opinion from everything I have been listening to from both the Bills and what is going on league wide.

  7. If there is no way Beane can pull off a move to get us in a position to draft a Quarterback in Round 1, then what do you want to see us target in Round 1 next?  I think if we can land Roquan Smith it would be a very good consolation prize to not bringing in a marquee QB.  I'm sure McDermott would love to get his hands on a stub LB that can be the quarterback of the defense for years to come.  If we don't get either QB or Smith then I will feel kind of disappointed.

Only went to one - we were all in his man cave, Thurman, Bruce, Hull, Biscuit, Tally, Andre and 2 of his brothers and a few other Bills and Bills employees,

His bro Pat and I have a mutual friend so he invited me along and said LEAVE the camera in the car....dang!  The best was when they were all watching Sportscenter and the all were screaming repeating ANYTHING Berman said - it was a riot.  Loads of drinking - just beers that I saw.

The best was running into Thurman, Tally and Reed in Bathtub Billys in Rochester and Tally walks up to me throws his arm around me and says - I know this guy!  I was king for a day!  Those guys were just so down to earth cool and were super easy to talk too.  As hard as I tried I never could get close to them for any of the three SB's I went too - understandable tho.

That's an awesome story! I honestly think that a big reason I was such a huge fan of those Super Bowl Bills teams was not only how fun they were to watch on the field but how much fun all of those guys were off the field from all of the stories I have heard over the years.  Larger than life personalities that you just don't see anymore in today's NFL

OK - we need to get away from the Draft, the QB's, the moving up and moving down, the wacked out players etc etc.

I know she is not everyone fav but the fans she has in the vid are good examples of all- ok maybe some -  of us in some way shape or form.  I was in the stands for Kelly's first game and his last game and only missed one at home in between.  No one is Bills QB history holds a candle to him.....he was a jerk, I went to his house after a game once and YES HE WAS A JERK but he was a jock jerk.  Fun guy to hang with and drink with.  Humility came late for him but I for one am hoping he has a speedy recovery.

    #KELLYTOUGH.

Heal quick Jimbo - we are all thinking of ya.

    GO BILLS!

Any cool, fun first hand stories you can share?  His post game parties were legendary!
