How old is their current stadium? It can’t be more than 25 years old. Shouldn’t a building last longer than that?
Yes. But it all comes down to $$$$$

All civil lawsuits are by definition money grabs. She filed a police report back when the incident allegedly happened and has posted about it on social media over the years. She is now trying to pursue her final chance at some kind of recourse.
My speculative take is that the girl genuinely feels like she was wronged, but that doesn't mean she actually was in a legal sense. There is in fact a middle ground on this issue between "Hairston is a rapist" and "the girl is a lying money grabber." But it's a very messy middle ground with no clear answers.
This is a very rational take. We need more of them on this board

Yeah, I think frostbitmic nailed it for me...while also acknowledging that I didn't get to see players such as McGuire, Moody, and Gogalak.
Don't think they'd make the BB Mt. Rushmore, because I assume a lot of their ST tackles came with other teams (Jax and Minn, respectively), but there are two Bills on the All-Time Special Teams Tackles list: Paul Posluszney (at 13) and Antoine Winfield (at 17).
Again, not Mt. Rushmore worthy, but other guys who came to mind (with a little digging): Siran Neal, Tyler Matakevich, Taiwan Jones, Roscoe Parrish, Jeff Burris, Leodis McKelvin, George Wilson, Mario Hagan, Marcus Easley, John Wendling, Scott Norwood, Chris Mohr, Reid Ferguson, Garrison Sanborn, Adam Linger, Sam Aiken, Lorenzo Alexander.
FYI:
John Wendling led the league in ST tackles in 2009 (he was second in the league in ST tackles in 2010, but with Detroit at that point).
Marcus Easley led the league in ST tackles in 2013.
Another honorable mention Josh Stamer

Not local currently but grew up in Pittsford and my mom and still lives there and several relatives live in Rochester burbs. I can literally walk to Pittsford-Mendon HS to catch the bus to training camp. It's a nice event and a chance to visit her/them.
And yeah, never had a problem going to camp until the last 2 years. Which is understandable as I believe STH's should get first dibs.
Nice man. I love that area. On top of trying to make it to training camp every so often, there's alot of great golf courses out your way!
And that's a great example of people I do feel bad for, if your close enough to walk over but couldn't get tickets from the lottery system or I saw some people online saying they were coming back into town during training camp and wanted to take in a practice but weren't able to get tickets. It is not ideal

I will always say in my lifetime Steve Christie made the biggest key play in Bills history when he recovered the onside kick in The Comeback. That was the turning point where that game really turned.
And yeah he was a darn good kicker too.
It's a no brainer for the OP's final special teamer.
It's funny when I was putting my list together I was thinking of that play too but I was thinking about it from the perspective of it was Mark Pike who busted the wedge open allowing Christie to recover the onside kick. But regardless of that Christie is definitely worthy of being on the list as well

Maybe controversial, but I’m not sure I’d include Pike. He was great for sure, but I’mnot sure he was great enough to make it as a wedge buster.
Steve Tasker is not up for debate, so I won’t bother debating him.
Agree on Brian Moorman - he was legitimately the team’s best player for a few years. And while that’s a damning condemnation of the offensive and defensive talent at the time, Moorman was nevertheless special as a punter. He’s a lock for me.
I think you could make a strong case for Steve Christie, but I’m not sure I’d make it. He’s in the same category as Pike for me - worthy, but maybe not one of the 4 most worthy.
I think there’s got to be at least 1 return man for me. McKelvin could’ve had a shot if he wasn’t such a bonehead. Roscoe Parrish is fairly up there. I think I’m forgetting someone else, but it probably doesn’t matter, because my pick is Terrance McGee. He was my guy! And his 98-yard non-TD as the half expired remains the single best on-field metaphor for the Bills.
Okay, no other names are jumping out at me, so I guess it’s between Pike and Christie for me (until Bass hits a game winner in the Super Bowl). And… my guy says Steve Christie, welcome to my personal Bills Special Teams Mount Rushmore!
Now to find a mountain and get started.
Yeah on my original list I was pretty much split between McGee and Christie as my final pick. If you open it up to 5 spots it becomes a pretty easy discussion. I will say I wasn't sure if there was anybody else I was forgetting or players before my time I wasn't aware of so that's why I started the discussion.

What I was getting at is that it seemed like they let in more people prior to the lottery system, but I could be wrong. Meaning they could offer more than 1,000 tickets.
I'm not sure numbers wise but I see what you are saying. I know training camp was never the issue/mess that it is now before things took off and the Bills became perennial contenders. I remember going to training camp in 2019 and it wasn't the hassle that it is now.
Not sure if you are local in WNY right now but it reminds me of Artpark in Lewiston. They used to do this free concert series every Tuesday night no tickets or anything required. You could just show up and hang out, it was great! Then one Summer they started bringing in bigger bands like ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd and it just became a madhouse and more people were attending than the facility was built to accommodate. Total s***show. The following year they started requiring you to buy tickets to this concert series.

They cap it at 1,000 tickets now. I wonder if they went over that prior to the lottery era?
I'm not sure. But I'm sure behind the scenes they have the logistics of it all figured out. There's no way they could leave it open without having a cap on attendants with the popularity of the team right now. And yeah it totally sucks that some people get screwed by not being able to get tickets to it, but what other way can you distribute tickets besides having some type of lottery? I stand by my original point that is is impossible to accommodate everybody that wants to attend training camp with a ticket.
Keep in mind the tickets are free so there is a whole other pool of people trying to go that might not attend games because of the financials and how much smaller the seating area is at Fisher v.s. Highmark stadium and think about how many Bills fans are out there. It's easy to say they can make it where everybody has a chance to get tickets if they want to do but impossible to execute.

the problem is the current set up and the commercialization of camp. Let’s Go back to some place like Fredonia with endless fields and parking and people can come and go easily.
I was at Steelers camp a few years back when the Bills practiced there, and that’s how it was. No tickets and you just roam around.
Yeah that would be ideal but camp was commercialized a long time ago, even before Allen showed up

Tasker - Gunner
Christie - Kicker
Moorman - Punter
McGee - Returner
Pike - Mt Rushmore isn't complete without him so this Mt has 5.
I mean if you make this Mt a 5 spot then I think you just nailed it Sir

There is plenty of room to accommodate everyone looking for a couple tickets. The issue is greedy people using multiple emails to source tickets and then sell the tickets they got for free on the secondary market. Stubhub already has listings for individual tickets for $70 dollars a piece.
I get that point and don't condone that behavior at all. I was able to get 6 tickets but at the time there were two maybe's in our group and I was going to give those two tickets away to someone trying to take their child if they backed out but they have since confirmed they are in as well.
My original point being there is such a high demand because of the popularity of the Josh Allen era Bills that they could not just open it up to the general public without requiring tickets because the facilities would not be able to support that large of a crowd. Like all of the primetime games we all can't stand now it's another one of those unfortunate angles to being a true contender with a marquee superstar at the helm of it.

Terrance McGee is the Bills’ all-time leader in kickoff returns (207), yards (5,450), and TDs (5)
I was giving him serious consideration as my 4th pick but wasn't sure if I was using some recency bias there

Steve Tasker- No brainer
Mark Pike- Obvious choice
Brian Moorman- Hero of the drought years
* TBD...this is where it gets tough for me. Have a few different guys I could go with here. Want to read the discussion on here and see where I stand afterwards

Saw a lot of complaining on Facebook about people not being able to get tickets. I get it. The problem is with the demand there currently is it's impossible to be able to accommodate everybody with tickets.

Heading to NYC for a magical weekend with my buddy.
- Flying in Thursday 9/25
- Friday Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black 9/26
- Saturday 1:05 Baltimore @ Yankees (followed by college football at sports bar) 9/27
- NFL Sunday in NYC (Saints @ Bills 1PM) 9/28
- Return Monday 9 /29
So, I need some advice/reco's about where to stay and where to watch the Bills game.
We haven't booked a hotel yet. See our schedule above where would be a good area? Specific hotel reco's?
What's the best NYC Bills Backer bar to go?
Any suggestions for after the Yankees game for a good place near there to watch college football games?
Thanks!
Go Bills! And USA USA USA (Ryder Cup - and look for me on TV, I'll be wearing my red, white blue Josh Allen jersey along the course)
How much did the Ryder Cup tickets cost you?
P.S. excellent Ryder Cup clothing choice!

I heard they might not have time to get the old stadium NFL game ready on short notice if the new stadium isn't ready, so the games will be moved to Detroit.
You know what, it would only be fitting if we had one last game moved to Detroit as we close out the stadium this season

I was at the game. Was drinking throughout the game, back then we could bring beer into the stadium, I think 1 quart was allowed and they never questioned my gallon jug I was bringing in. Needed to go to the bathroom, so when is better than when lining up for a kick. Well, bottom line I was somewhere between walking towards or already being in the concourse for the 77 seconds. Somewhat saw part of it from the stairs or tunnel to the concourse, but missed much of it.

I heard Josh Stamer used to get in bar fights around Buffalo.
I believe that. Was a wild dude. It's a shame he was stuck here during some awful Bills teams
