  1. At #11 good O linemen are there. Wise pick. WR's can be picked up later and aren't as valuable. In the first round you should never ever draft for need but get the best player on the board regardless of position. Especially a high pick like 11. Draft for need later.
  2. NFL network is superior. It will be more clear after the the first round. ESPN cares about the top 5 or 10 picks. The first pick of the second round will get no highlight film on ESPN. The only care about first round picks. A couple years ago when the second round started they did a long feature on Terrell Owens rather than show who was being picked. ESPN cares nothing about teams South of Washington or West of Pittsburgh except Dallas. NFLN has more knowledgable people and stays on what is happening right now. It is more fair to all the teams. NFL people open up more on NFLN so you get more information.
  3. The Vikings had a first round pick named Dimitrius Underwood in 1999. After being drafted, he signed a five year, $5.3 million contract in August 1, 1999 but walked out of training camp the next day. The Vikings released him later that month. Underwood would later changed his mind and decided to return to professional football. He was claimed on waivers by the Miami Dolphins after 23 teams passed on him. He only played one preseason game for the Dolphins before getting injured. In September 1999, Underwood attempted to commit suicide by slashing his own neck(with scissors) before repeatedly yelling "I'm not worthy of God". Underwood later spent two months in protective care and was diagnosis with bipolar disorder. After he escaped from a psychiatric care facility, he was released from the Miami Dolphins in December 1999. He later signed with the Dallas Cowboys with a two year contract. During the 2000-2001 seasons, Underwood had 21 tackles and 4 sacks in 19 games. In January 2001, tried to kill himself for the second time by running into traffic twice on a busy suburban highway.
  4. Well the women speak English in Buffalo, they aren't Miami drug whores, and have some principles. Frankly, I would not be interested in all the criminal activity in Miami. He sure would not fit in with the Polka crowd in Green Bay. Don't shed any tears for him.
  5. It is like the Bills trading a lot for Ricky Williams or something. Complete baloney from the begining. The Packers have not made any expensive signings and will get included in more speculations because they have some cap room.
  6. Changing the name of some places just isn't right. Arrowhead Stadium Soldier Field Lambeau Field Now look at the example of the first stadium to start this. Candlestick Park, 3 Com Park, Monster.com Park have all been the same stadium. In Houston Enron Field is now Minute Maid Park. In all the coverage of the Super Bowl I don't recall hearing the current name of the stadium in Miami. Frankly, with the large dollars in the game it is not worth changing your identity for a million dollars a year.
  7. The Bills have a great punter 48.5 average today. One was 65 yards and another was a good coffin corner. He is doing a lot for field position.
  8. Bills are winning the field position battle. Special teams the difference in the game.
  9. It all comes down to the Bills offense against the Packer defense. That is the bigger battle. Losman could have his best game of the year. I expect a high scoring game.
  10. It has not been easy. The rookies are still learning. The Packers 2nd rounder has played LG and LT. Their 3rd rounder Spitz ws RG, LG, and back to RG. Moll the 5th rounder was back up played RG and is a backup. The older guys have played worse as they have to forget years of learning and go with this zone blocking scheme. The key for the Bills guys will be how many mistakes they make until they learn. A guy pulls a move or a team does a unique stunt they may get burned but not later. Photos on the bench with a coach helping and film work during the week are important.
  11. 1. Brett Favre 2. Bart Starr 3. Johnny Unitas 4. Joe Montana 5. Dan Marino 6. Dan Fouts 7. Manning (Peyton) 8. Staubach 9. Moon 10. Elway(as much as I dislike the rotten human)

  13. Those who know Brett Favre, know that of all his accomplishments, the future Hall of Famer probably cares most about his winning percentage and his streak. Favre made his first start at quarterback – and first of a league-record 228 in consecutive fashion – Sept. 27, 1992, vs. Pittsburgh. Favre’s 142-86 record since that day is better than any team in the league: Team W L T % Packers 142 86 0 .623 Broncos 141 87 0 .618 Steelers 140 87 1 .616 Chiefs 134 94 0 .588 Minnesota 131 97 0 .575 Forty-Niners 130 98 0 .570 Patriots 130 99 0 .568 Colts 128 100 0 .561 Dolphins 128 101 0 .559
  14. Some highlights THE BILLS-PACKERS SERIES: The two teams have meet only nine times, the first game coming in 1974, a 27-7 Bills victory at Lambeau Field. Buffalo won five of the first six meetings. The Packers have taken two of the last three. Each team has recorded one shutout in the series, the Bills in 1988 at Buffalo (28-0) and the Packers in the teams’ most recent meeting in 2002 at Lambeau Field (10-0). Seven points is the closest margin of victory in any of the nine meetings, a 19-12 Buffalo victory in 1979. Green Bay has won five straight and six of its last seven over opponents coming off bye weeks. The last time the Packers lost such a game was Oct. 15, 1998, at Detroit. The Packers have never won in Buffalo, dropping four total visits (1979, ‘88, ‘94 and 2000). For his performance Sunday vs. Arizona (seven tackles, two sacks), the league recognized defensive end Aaron Kampman as NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Arguably the league’s hottest defensive player, Kampman has at sack in four straight games, and six of seven contests this season. last time a Packers player had at least ½ sack over four straight Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (Oct. 31-Nov. 29, 2004). The last player with a streak of at games during a single season was Reggie White, Nov. 5-Dec. (five games). Kampman is tied for the NFL lead with 8½ sacks. Rank Player, Team Sacks 1t) Kampman, G.B. The Packers entered 2006 with the league’s youngest roster, in terms of average age and experience. Green Bay enters the weekend with a league-high 17 rookies. The number increases to 20 when including the Packers’ three “first-year” players (those who’ve played for other pro teams or been in NFL camps prior to 2006 but had never spent more than six games on a regular-season roster). What’s more, the Packers have 11 second-year players. That means that of the 53 players on the active roster, 58 percent (or 31 total) have less than three years of NFL experience. The Packers lead the league with the fewest plays for negative yardage(26). 14 rushes, 3 passes, 9 sacks.
  15. When Bills have the ball: The Bills have the 28th ranked passing offense(29th overall). The Packers have the worst passing defense(27th overall). One of them will improve but they appear closely matched. When the Packers have the ball: The Packer Offense is 11th in passing, 8th in rushing, 9th overall. The Bills Defense is 14th against the pass, 17th against the rush and 15th overall. Advantage Packers. Kick teams Kick offs Green Bay 8th in kickoffs 6th in touchbacks Buffalo 29 in kickoffs and 29th in touchbacks. Returns allowed GB 9th Buffalo 26th. Returns Buffalo 7th Green Bay 25th. Advantage Green Bay. Punting Green Bay 3rd in gross average, 25th in net ave., last for inside the 20. Buffalo 18th in gross average, 5th in net ave., 8th for punts inside the 20. Returns Packers 14th and Buffalo 17th. Advantage Buffalo The Bills have rested during their bye week and are at home. Intagibles favor the Bills. On paper it looks like a close game. If you are going to bet I would recommend betting the over. The over/under is 40.5 points Bills Offense scores 14.3 a game but the Packer D is weak. Packer Offense scores 21.7 on average but the Bills are 21st in points allowed. Don't bet the spread.
  16. PDF format is 23 pages long. Plenty of Bills stats and some you don't think of every day. Here's the Link: http://www.packers.com/news/releases/2006/10/31/3/ Enjoy.
  17. Yep he has fallen to 7th in the league in completions, 9th in the league in passing yards, and 9th in TD's. He is only in the upper third of QB's in the 32 team league. To get a sense of how bad he is Brett Favre has: Only 26.5% more yards than Losman. Only 24% more completions than Losman. Only 67% more Touchdown passes than Losman. However, Losman does have 20% more interceptions than Favre. Losman is in the bottom half of the NFL QB's. Maybe Brett will hang it up when he becomes an average NFL QB. Maybe Losman will have a lock on starting when he becomes an average QB.
  18. Back in the eighties, when the Raiders were at the LA Coliseum, the stadium capacity was too high(85K+). You could walk up on game day and buy tickets and get in. (Very much like today at the Oakland Coliseum(63K+) where almost all home games are blacked out) The deal really is for television revenues. 20% of the US population lives within 200 miles of LA. To make it financially viable the Governor wants 2 teams-probably an AFC and NFC team. The likely choices are the Chargers if they do not get a new stadium deal and the Vikings who are at the bottom of the league in revenues. Why should fans in one city pay for another city's stadium? The NFL has a loan program where owners assist but the loan is limited to around 50 million and must be paid back. LA politicians can screw up any deal. This "issue" will be discussed 10 years from now because there is no genuine enthusiasm, only parasites wanting a chunk of the action which isn't that large.
  19. Craig Nall has it all. Not just masterful throwing of the ball. A leader of men, Starting is a question of when. The Bills stand tall behind the wonderful, Craig Nall.
  20. The Bills will be great with Nall at QB. Ripping apart the Patriots opening day will bring in the new era.
