  1. I agree that Seneca Wallace high on that list, but Collins... eh.
  2. Spot on as usual Lori. At least around the Erie/Pittsburgh area the sports writers are numerous and as I've seen the Post Gazette has had about 4 different sports writers in as many months. Some have been laid off, others hired, and I meant the copy writers in the editorials. Thanks for clearing that up
  3. I wish I could see the Ralph in all it's minty glory... When the snow hits, and those dark grey clouds loom over the stadium at sunrise on Sunday, you KNOW that it's football time in Western New York. GAH I can't wait for the season...
  4. Damn it Matty I said I haven't heard of him! :-P
  5. Pretty shocked on this end, even on NFL.com when the game ended old stories were piled up above the "Bills spoil home opener" story. My uncle is in the newspaper business and said that sports writers are becoming too numerous and too biased, therefore causing as you said huge layoffs in editorial positions and moreover just bland AP approaches giving details, but no in depth studies of the game or thoughts. Any column or press coverage the Bills can get raises my spirits and I'm pretty sure everyone's on this board. If you ever need someone to make a cheap blog, I'm your man
  6. Packers: Deshawn Wynn, most likely with the signing of Grant and the fashes Jackson has had this year, they didn't necessarily need him KR Jeremy Bloom, was supposed to be explosive at the NFL level S Curome Cox, pretty darn good IMO DE Greg Spires, used to be pretty darn good No one ubelievable, but anyone have any idea why these guys weren't even given another weeks look? And in no way, shape, or form, is this a "ZOMG I'VE HEARD OF HIM GET HIM TO 1BD!"
  7. Technically it'd be Herd... Aaaanywho, I'd say the 5 Cylinders.
  8. Terrance was pretty good, shame he was let go, but the local Subway couldn't afford to lose such a promising sub maker.
  9. He's suited for interior line play, and our most experienced backups are guards and centers. If one of them goes down, sure, but other than that, I'll pass.
  10. He's healthy, and he did make a catch last night. But again, when the Saints found out what they had in Colsten, they shyed away from him too, so I dunno, we'll have to see what these cuts bring us.
  11. I believe he meant Trent does... from previous crayonz posts. And yes, JP does have a very nice beard. He'll get laid more times than a Holiday Inn's comforter with that pup, but... will still only be a great backup.
  12. Probably the best put post so far eball, I like that train of thought. But... again, rookie being hidden with PS intentions is a possibility too. I hope he makes the team, seems like a morally sound guy, liked him at K-town, could make an impact down the road. Here's to Stevie Johnson in 2010!
  13. He's got Martin Nance written all over him. Raw, but major upside, frame, speed and talent.] Nance should make the roster for the Vikes this year, where will Marcus make his mark in 2 years?
  14. Couldn't be a victim of numbers in that piss-poor receiving corp.... but then again, you never know. Wouldn't mind having him around, a freakishly big guy for his position.
  15. Didn't see him much tonight, hearing a lot about Felton Huggins and Justin Jenkins... Could he be scrapped? In OTA's he was doing fantastic, haven't heard much of him late in Training Camp, would hate to let that upside go to waste. Anyone know anything about his situation?
  16. Huuuuuuge sigh of relief for Bills fans. Huuuuuuge groan of being pissed for Jason Peters. Seriously, I really liked the guy before this hold out. Grow a pair and at least talk to the front office you prick.
  17. There ya go Deion... "Remember this, the Colts don't care about the preseason."
  18. Demetrius Bell just BLEW that DE off the line. That, imo, was impressive.
  19. And... PS... Marshal could be right about us needing an upgrade at LT now
  20. Yeah I saw that Fred was returning punts, didn't realize Joshy started :-P
  21. Sorgi isn't starting because if Peyton isn't ready to start the season, then they need Sorgi to step in, don't want injuries. Marshawn is hilarious, shouldn't have put pressure on Trent's leg like that tho 0_o.
  22. Also, we're actually driving the ball? Somethings wrong here...
