The new Yahoo Mail Beta was supposed to be an Outlook-like interface, featuring the drag-and-drop messages, and that's how it was. Today I noticed that I can no longer drag an open message tab into another folder. That was a nice feature, so why tinker with it? EDIT: Maybe it was a temporary bug, because now it's working again. I'm sure tomorrow something else will be broken.

I prefer the Castrol Super Clean Accuvision stuff. Goes on easier - spray and wipe it clean. No need to buff it out after 15 minutes, and works as well as the Rain-X. Course now I'm just lazy and buy the washer fluid with the Rain-X already mixed in.

The old LaSalle coach was Pat Monti. I heard he was quick ticked when he wasn't offered the job as the coach for the new NFHS team, and he even took the coaching job at Niagara Catholic for a while. I think he's down in Florida now. Rumor I heard was that guys from the old NFHS area were "recruited" to play at LaSalle instead of NFHS - they were supposedly told that if the player told the admin he wanted to transfer to LaSalle to take auto shop or one of the other classes that LaSalle offered and NFHS didn't, then the administration had to approve the transfer. I don't know how true any of that was, but that was what I heard when I went to LaSalle.

Yep. LaSalle was already a powerhouse before the merger and beat up on NFHS regularly, but combining the two has worked out pretty much the way everyone thought it would. I cannot imagine the talent pool the coaching staff gets to pick from.

Falls has been in the title game in four of the last five years, but sadly has but one title to show for that run. But don't forget about how many state basketball titles LaSalle had before the LaSalle - NFHS merger. I have no idea if NYC schools were in there, but LaSalle was state champs in 88, 95 and 96.

That's an awful lot of speculation there. I find it hard to believe that a team leader is going to go out of his way to take a shot at the backup QB three weeks after a big win at home in which the backup QB never sniffs the field. I think it started out as trying to compliment Trent's play and turned into a little verbal diarrhea, and next thin you know everyone is reading into his comments. Bottom line - it's Trent's team. Period. All JP has to do is put in his prep time, stay ready in case Trent gets dinged again, and count the days until free agency starts.

None of the extensions have been added recently, so it would probably have to be an update I'd be looking for. I'm trying to use the Yahoo! Mail beta in Firefox for now to see if the problem comes back. So far so good...

I agree, to a point. The need to be right is something I've posted a few times here and on a couple other boards, and it's not a new phenomenon WRT our QB situation. But I think the "need to be right" and the "I want my guy to be The Guy" crowds/mentalities overlap. I have no doubt that someone is going to rile some else up and either get stalked and killed or at the very least show up at a tailgate and get their face punched in.

Watching her in FSM made me forget what a bitchy-ass character she played in that 70s show (although she was easier to stomach in the later episodes, when she was with Hyde and not Kelso.) I guess I have been watching Family Guy so long I don't have any hangups about the Meg Griffin voice, either...

Seriously, though - I am pretty sure it was a cache/cookies problem or an incompatibility with a Firefox extension problem, because I was not having the same issues with IE7. But as I told the Yahoo tech specialist - I'm not going through 30+ extensions one-by-one to figure out which one is screwing things up. It's easier to just use IE7 until the problem corrects itself.

I've had it randomly ask me for my password a few times in one session, and I keep getting this weird error message that says "your previous session ended unexpectedly, do you want to restore your previous tabs and messages?" Yahoo says they have no idea why I'm getting that.

Sorry, you didn't get the memo. It's OK, maybe you haven't be told how it goes. Round these parts we pick a QB to back and then go down guns blazing to the end. If that means wishing the team loses so your pick can be right, so be it. If that means wishing the other guy gets hurt, so be it. If that means gloating after a win or a great game by your guy and starting asinine threads about how the other guy couldn't/wouldn't get it done the same way, then so be it. We can't support the guy who is in there, no matter what. We keep piling on a backup who had nothing to do with today's game. Cuz damnit we are fans of a single player, not the team. Amen.

Here you go, ruining another great "piss on JP" thread. Bingo. The D gave up almost 400 yards of total offense, Arizona was 9-15 on 3rd downs, they scored 41 points on Donte and the D, and the Bills D forced no turnovers. They would have needed Montana and the 49ers offense in their prime to keep pace with Arizona, given the ease at which the Cards moved the ball at will. I love Whitner and his leadership, but saying that if Trent was there they would have won sounds like revisionist history at best, and sounds like a convenient way to forget how badly the D played in that game.
