  1. At what point do we start losing and getting set for next years draft? Heck, now is a good start.
  2. Fighting - Instigator - 4 Games Other players involved 1-2 games depending on severity Players taking off helmets and swinging - Season Stepping on a palyers head who has no helmet on (intentionally) career!
  3. Hey listen up folks, I have watched the BILLS lose four straight superbowls about two decades ago. Win or Lose, I still support them. Yes, I can understand being upset. The point of this board is to discuss the BILLS good and bad, and yes they have many of both. Our hopes may be that someone from within the orginzation sees our posts and takes some of them seriously. Hopefully good can come of it. But let's not cry about it, yes we all hurt. I wish we had another Jim Kelly, or Bruce Smith, and the list goes on. But I WILL NOT QUIT. I once pulled for Dale Earnhardt, and when he was losing, I pulled for Jeff Gordon. Then next thing I know Dale is gone, I still miss him. I get ragged all the time now when I try to trash Jeff. Dale was on the way back up when he was taken. I can not forgive myself everytime I think about it. I won't let that happen again. If you're gonna drop the BILLS, so be it. But for the rest of us die-hards, we will complain, B word, moan, etc. but we will still back em. Besides, it i sbetter to be pissed off then pissed on!
  4. Any chance the scouts are looking at any Quaterbacks, and if so, any names? Damn that Vince Young is looking better!
  5. Good thoughts and opinions. I still think Marv goes heavy offense and does the opposite in free agency as last year, defense.
  6. Well, it is obvious, as was in the draft, the defense is still top priority. I can live with a 6-10, 7-9, or an 8-8 season. My money still goes on heavy off-season free agent signings for the O-line as well as heavy O-line drafting. Now in all fairness, I had Detriot picked as a win for them earlier this year. I can understand them losing to some teams, Chicago, but Detriot? Whe the hell is the high motor there and a sense of urgency? Hey Buffalo, try Big Ben's stunt, 0-0. What have we got to lose. Step up men, or you will be out!!!
  7. When we traded up for Johm McCargo, wouldn't one of those o-linemen still on the board been a better pick? Odds are the next draft goes heavily offensive.
  8. I remember Craig Nall a few seasons back in a pre-season game. If he had a #4 jersey on, know one would have known. He is my #1 sleeper who isn't sleeping.
  9. Height: 6-2 3/4 | Weight: 306 | 40-Time: 4.94 Official Bio Strengths: Very solid and compactly built...Extremely strong...Holds his ground and will not get pushed around...Has tremendous balance...Is very quick and explosive...Does a pretty good job of penetrating and makes a lot of plays in the opponents backfield...Has a motor that never stops...Plays with good leverage...Locates the ball well...Gets a great push up the middle...Had an outstanding senior campaign. Weaknesses: Does not have great size or bulk...Durability is a concern and he has a history of knee and ankle problems...Has not been the hardest worker throughout his career...His lack of size might become more of a problem at the next level...Is on the ground too much...Was arrested for stealing a video game in 2003. Notes: Tore the ACL in his left knee while in high school and then tore the MCL in the same knee in 2002...Potential nose tackle...Could end up being one of the best defensive tackles the Noles have produced, which is really saying something.
  10. 1 - Haloti Ngata DT 6'4 337 Oregon 2 - Darryn Colledge OT 6'4 298 Boise State 3A - Alan Zemaitis CB 6'1 193 Penn State 3B - James Anderson OLB 6'3 230 Virginia Tech 4 - Mark Anderson DE 6'4 258 Alabama 5A - Bruce Gradkowski QB 6'1 217 Toledo 5B - Danieal Manning SS 5'11 201 Abilene Christian 6 - Cedric Humes RB 6'0 227 Virginia Tech 7A - Willie Evans DE 6'1 269 Mississippi State 7B - William Kershaw OLB 6'2 240 Maryland
  11. In my haste, I have realized I need to take a little more time. Good, constructive criticism.
  12. As we have seen, nothing is final but Mario Williams to the Texans #1. Now, the top of the board can really get shaken up. Will the Saints take Bush? If not, who will? Now if D'Brick, Leinhart, Hawk or Davis should fall to Buffalo, grab em. These I think are the only excepatble exclusions. Trading down is almost not in my dictionary, in fact I had to look in my dictionary to see how to spell traed, or is it tread, no that is tread, like a car tire. Well, anyway...
  13. The last thing the Bills need to do now is add another WR. If they so should happen to add one, a third round pick for one is a waste!
  14. I'm just curious as to whether or not anybody from within the Buffalo Bills Organaztion ever looks at the board postings. Of course everybody has an opinion. Millions of them are flying around on here. I just wonder if any of them are ever thought out, or viewed as what if.
  15. With defensive tackle a needed must, moving down here would be stupid. If they do trade to #14, Ngata and Bunkley would be gone. Here are my thoughts on trading: Watch to see who is still on the board near the end of round one. If Eric Winston is there at the top of round two, trade the second and one of the third round picks up and draft him. Then let things fly as they will.
  16. This fits the first response, 1 good post about something meaningful and responsive is all that is needed. Well spoken, indeed.
  17. I have placed many topics on the site. I have added responses to others have posted. I seen to not get many replies. Is it I'm way off base, or am I hitting hte nail on the head without leaving much to question? Just brief a few of my past replies and any criticism is well tought about and taken like a man. Thanks, and GO 2006 BILLS.
  18. Ok, so John makes some sense. Of course the world lives on a "Out with the old, In with the new" attitude. Buffalo is a smaller market and Ralph is seeming to try to keep Buffalo in Buffalo. I am 100% behind him, it seems a certain billionaire is also. But John, WHAP, SOCK, BAM, Norwood is so behind us. We are living for the future, and Ralph is also. Try picking on another subject, like one woman cusses another on pit road. Everybody loves a cat-fight.
  19. Well, Reggie Bush is undersized, D'Brichshaw Ferguson is undersized, Vince Young has bad test scores, Matt Leinhart doesn't have the long ball arm. Has it ever occured that a team or person may try and start a bad rap sheet on a guy so his stock will drop so he may fall to them in the draft. I believe it is possible.
  20. Stop the run, DT tackle needed plus good linebackers, a first commandment on defense. Well, is he a better corner or S? I have heard about an upgrade for Mcgee? How logical is he for the 1st round.
  21. I second that opinion. Back to the old drawing board.
  22. Ever bought a new computer, and a year later it is out of date? Well, mock drafts hold the same scenario. I have seen drafts having the BILLS picking WR's, QB's, etc. Well, Craig Nall and Peerless Price have shot those down. I think rounds 1, 2, and 3 are the only predictable picks. Here is what I think we may see: Round 1 will see an OT, or DT, depending on what is available. Now Marv has mentioned defense still wins games, so I see Ngata or Bunkley coming in. If Ngate is there, he is the choice. He will stuff the run and add some pass rush, while Triplett will be a go get em man. Round 2 should be the opposite of round 1. I believe an OT will be taken here. I look for em to pull an early trigger on O'Callaghan. Round 3 will probably have another OL and possibly a safety. After that, it will be the best players on the board for a needed position. The special teams look great, but don't be surprised if the lowers picks go for ST additions. So, if you have already made your own mock draft, be sure and update it daily. Go BILLS, and go BUD8.
  23. is looking at? Is it just my thinking, or our most of the guys he's signing 3-4 year guys? Is he going young and building for the future? If so, we are in for another non-playoff season as he continues to build. Unity is what might win, how long can he keep guys together. Here's a new thought, trade Moulds and sing Clements for the long run.
  24. I do not believe you are far off. I think first we have to look at what Marv has. Defense wins games and championships. I believe the defense will be addressed in Rnd 1. Whether it is the line or the secondary, it will more than likely come first. Maybe Ngata, Williams, Huff, it is still up in the air. Linebackers are out though. We have 3 excellent starters, and three real good backups. The opposite will be selected in the second round with good probability. Of course this all still hinges on other free agents.
  25. Yes, if we trade him, it voids our contract with him. All ties are cut. But if we release him, won't it stick us with another 5 million in dead cap money?
