  1. I also agree with the fact that he is undersized as far as height is concerned. Now London has good speed still, instincts, heart but he is just a bit short to be in the middle covering some of today's tight ends.
  2. 6'3 235 A fast, big, speedy wide receiver. Run, catch, block, whatever the coached asked me to do. Anything to help the team, fans, and city be winners.
  3. Through the early nineties the BILLS were the team of the AFC East to beat. Yes, they went to four Superbowls. Yes, they lost all four. Eventually players were traded, retired, released, and so forth. The thing that hurt them most was losing their star coach. Marv kept finding ways to keep them together and seemed on top of their game. Fast forward to Y2K and the forth coming of the New England Patriots. A team that is headed by a great quarterback that also wears #12. Their success also comes from the man that coaches them. It seems if you have a good coach and a good quarterback you are good to go. I'd like to know what Bill B. in New England has that the players buy into. It seems he finds smart talent and gets them to work together, year after year after year. My real question here is how long can it last, and secondly how many other teams have built on this approach?
  4. I'm sure it has never been done. If Buffalo were to trade a 3rd or 4th to Tennessee to get Travis back, how do you think he would react with a new coaching staff in town? Just curious.
  5. When I actually get time to come to the boards I am usually wide open. Now watch for my next post. LMAO
  6. What did Tennessee give us for Travis? What ever it is I'd give it back!
  7. more votes needed. Let's keep this going for a week. One day tells us nothing.
  8. I think this year Willis is here because he has to be. Now Dick Jauron knows what type of player A-Train is and that is why he is in Buffalo. Because Marv does not see Willis as a high motor guy, I'm guessing, you will see a Thurman Thomas, Emmitt Smith, LT type of guy (5-10 200-210) in Buffalo before long. Willis is only here because he has to be.
  9. I say re-sign him. But with options, meaning a heavily incentive laden contract. So much per tackle, interception, knockdown sack, etc. Make him do more than just want an easy payday, kinda like Willis.
  10. Run and stop the run. It all starts with the linemen.
  11. Instead of yes or no, could it be stay or go? Sure do appreciate the knowledge to do this type of thing.
  12. It is hard to beat another team when you have four turnovers and refs are for the other team. Simply put, to win, you have to beat the other team to the point of the refs not being a factor.
  13. Heck, maybe he has part ownership in George's oil wells.
  14. Does anyone on here know how to put together a on-line vote to see how many people here are for or aginst Willis McGahee? I'd sure love to see that vote.
  15. It was a reply to a possibility of trading McGahee for one of New Englands backs.
  16. Well first off, I have never been a basher of Ralph Wilson. I too am concerned with his thoughts of Buffalo being a smaller market and wanting to keep the Bills in Buffalo. Now as far as spending is concerned, who really has the final say, owner or GM? I am not sure how Melvin Fowler is doing, but what if LeCharles Bentley had come to Buffalo? Our O-line may be nastier with a knock em out influence such as him. Obviously Buffalo still has some money they are sitting on. Were they hoping for better picks in the last draft and signing them?
  17. Oh God! We lost a divisional game to the new top rival New England Patriots in week #1 this year. The guy who got that safety that allowed New England the two point win was the first round draft pick New England got when Drew Bledsoe came to Buffalo. It may come back to haunt us again. So again I say no trading within the division.
  18. Do you remeber TD's rnd 1 pick to to NE for Drew? Remember the guy in game 1 who sacked JP for a safety, which was possibly the losing two points, yeah it was that draft pick.
  19. Isn't Coleman another light guy? Diehlman a good possibility. Will he be available?
  20. When are people on hear gonna get the hint that you do not trade within the division. If I shopped McGahee around it would be towards Texas, Florida, California, those type of places.
  21. Hey I apologize, and see the problems: coaching and the O-line.
  22. Well, I for one am apologizing for bashing Losman. It seems the coaching staff may be cutting him loose a little finally and we are seeing the results. Balance is the key on offense and we can see the Bills have none with just 26 or so yards by the top HB. And again, we see that the Bills downfall is another teams golden egg, the running game. Of course it was LT, which I can live with. I can see real progress. I think the picture is coming clear for next year, or for me anyways. Now the top draft pick can go either way, depending on free agent sigining. The Bills need a top notch run blocking guard and a top notch run stuffing defensive tackle, from there it is up in the air. Control and balance wins games. Protect Losman a little bit more so he doesn't have to force balls in and give Willis a few more lanes and the offense can be there. Now we have seen results with the likes of Ted Washington, Pat Williams and Sam Adams, so the Bills need to go back there. I like fast defensive tackles, but only on third and long and fourth and long. All football starts with the O-line and D-line. I think if Buffalo starts there they are at least in the playoffs next year. Has anyone heard about any deals with Nate Clements for next season? I think it is important for Buffalo to keep him.
  23. The winning and not getting high draft picks doesn't bother me. I watched guys like Kenyatta Walker and others who we needed go by. That bothers me.
  24. Is it the quarterback or the offensive line?
