  1. I have seen earlier where someone had questioned about what guard spot Derrick played. If you go to BuffaloBills.com and click on roster and his player profile you will find he has played left guard, and if he has exceeded at left guard, he will play left guard.
  2. How active is the free agent market on the weekend? As of yet we have no idea of any new interests. Also while Saturday may be slow, how much slower will Sunday be? Any new threads anybody?
  3. Yeah the *%*@ stuff is on the rise again. I just do not understand how they greedy bastards can profit 56 Billion and still keep raising it. Persoanlly, I think the damn idiot in Washington has something to do with it.
  4. What are the chances of trading Willis and TKO and using some good draft picks to end up with both these guys? Now that would be awesome!!!!!
  5. Did the Bills interview Donte Whitner? I remember them bringing in and talking to some big name DT's, but that was all.
  6. I have to agree that he is worth a second round pick or better. I think with a good o-line Willis may have promise. I also think he needs to be be where the lights are, whether his star soines or doesn't.
  7. It's not broke, but a little bit more weight will help him deal with some big offensive linemen.
  8. Well, I have been doing my homework. Patrick Willis 6'2 240 Ole Miss. The more I read on this guy the more I like. While he has posted around 3-5 sacks a year, he is a tackling machine. The more I read the more he reminds me of A.J. Hawk, all over the field. I agree he needs to bulk up 10-15 lbs. I think he is a perfect replacement for London Fletcher, just taller. Therefore giving him ability to cover tight ends crossing the middle. If our Dt's can come around, apposing teams will have to worry about getting past this guy. MArv please land this guy.
  9. How much cap is gained by losing Spikes and McGahee? Isn't Spikes getting around 6 Mil a year?
  10. I for a long time have been a pusher to get rid of McGahee. Now I can not help but wonder if this new offensive line will play to his liking? Is he not supposed to be a wait for and look for a hole to open type of back? If so I am sure the new line will open some for sure.
  11. The new signings, I like. One knock the Superbowl Bills of the nineties had, was a small offensive line. Seems to me Marv may be trying to address that. I hope the new surroundings for Walker bring his spirits up and we again will feel that Old Buffalo Magic.
  12. Is this guy a fit for Buffalo, and if so what kind of money would he be looking at?
  13. Heck, where is TD at? MAybe he will give us a first rounder for him. Dumb Ass
  14. If for some reason the Bills do not retain Nate Clements, is Asante Samuel a good free agent pick up? If not, who else may be available to sign?
  15. My bad. I had Grubbs in the third. He probably won't be there, though I saw somewhere where he was there in the third. Areach I guess. But Youboty was supposed to go sooner. Maybe!
  16. This is a touchy situation. All avenues have to be pursued for the best bottom line. Now I think Nate is a great shut down corner. Towards the end of the season he was in Pro Bowl form. He knew he was becoming a free agent. My hope is Buffalo re-signs him and he can teach an up and coming Youboty. Sign him long term. If he does good it was worth it. If he doesn't trade him. If anything you get your cap back and shouldn't take a hit.
  17. First trade that no good for nothing idiot Willis McGahee. He should at least bring a second round pick. Trade that pick with our second to climb back into the first round. Our first pick will hopefully be Okoye. Now with the second first round pick I'd hope Marshawn Lynch or some back his type is there. Next Nate Clements must be resigned. Then from there it is a free-for-all. I like Steinbach as a free agent. Hopefully Ben Grubbs is around in the second round.
  18. So many nay-sayers. How many people know the accomplishments JP and Buffalo made this year? He is 11th - 13th in most QB catergories. With a little more help he can only improve. Watch fans...
  19. Yes, it an early prediction. Yes, it is subject to change. There are a few free agents I think the Bills should pursue, I will name them at a later date. I think the first off-season priority though is to re-sign Nate Clements. Second I trade Willis McGahee to some one for a second, hopefully first round pick. If it is a second or late first, I trade it to move back up into the middle of the first round. Now with that potentially done here I go: Round 1 First Pick Marshawn Lynch RB 5'11 215 California (Marvs next Thurman Thomas) Round 1 Second Pick Justin Blalock OG 6'4 330 Texas (Big time run blocker) Round 3 Third Pick Johnathan Abbate ILB 6'0 245 Wake Forest (Future for the middle) Round 4 Fourth Pick Paul Soliai DT 6'4 335 Utah (Size and will slowly be worked into first and second down situations) Round 5 Fifth Pick Micheal Allan TE 6'7 264 Whitworth (Pete Metzelaars height and a fair blocker, stock is on the rise) Round 6 Sixth Pick Deyon Williams WR 6'3 195 Virginia (Up and coming, stats are improving) Round 7 Seventh Pick Kenny Scott CB 6'2 185 Georgia Tech (Tall guy with a good upside. Good coaching and he will blossom.) Now this is merely my opinion and I am sure it will be criticized, that I can handle. So go ahead, I am open to thoughts and opinions.
