  1. Yeah, we do need to trade him. Doesn't Mike Williams have us sitting with 5 million in dead cap money? If we release Eric, wouldn't that be another 5 million in dead cap money? If so, it would be 10 million. OUCH!
  2. Remember ole Cliff Branch of the Raiders who lived by "Speed can kill"? Evans, Davis (Andre), Davis, McGahee, Everett, Parish, Speed, Speed, Speed. Andre Davis has expolsive speed, and a godd upside still. I think he did not have the proper people around him to show his full capability when at Cleveland. MArv knows talent when he sees it and he knows where the points come from. I like Ngata in round1 but do not be surprised if he grabs Davis with our #8. 4.38, good hands, good blocker, equals points.
  3. a second round pick. While he is still first round talent, a second round pick should be adequate. If no trades can be worked out, let him sit. Early next season him sitting will up the anty for some team to give us a first or second for the draft after the up and coming season. The only question is how tight will the cap be if he stays on. We will need to sign some good draft picks i'm sure.
  4. Trade one of this years #3's, and next years #3 and get another round 2 for this year. Now: Round 1: TE Davis Round 2: OT Round 2: DT Round 3: OG
  5. I have seen a recent post where some idiot has us taking Vince Young with the #8 pick. I would not take him in the 7th round. With guys like Ngata, Williams, Huff, etc... why in the **** would Marv and Dick take Vince young?
  6. With all the good tackles going in first AND second round that would obviously be the DUMB choice. Come on man. More homework for you dude.
  7. Sting, Police. LMAO. But dude, DREW is HISTORY. Time to change the name. Like bench .... ?
  8. COMPETITION! Will Triplett be a starter? And didn't Pittsburgh prove defense wins championships? Ngata and Pickett would be awesome in the middle. Schobel and Kelsay would keep the ends covered. Spikes, Posey, and Fletcher would further stuff the run and keep any quaterbacks on their toes. Clements, McGee, and maybe a good 3rd round safety makes the secondary good. Jason Allen, 4.3, fits good.
  9. Doesn't Jamie still owe some shop in Rochester for a suit he got? Doubt he'll ever be back.
  10. How many of us have lived with the BILLS losing four straight superbowls? The man has signed three players so far and people are on his sh--. Back off! Has it ever occured to some of you clowns some players do not want to sign with certain teams? Bentley would have been a good pick-up; however, he wanted to be in his own hometown. How many NFL stars want to play in front of their family and friends? Are some players worth their asking price? Gees people, back off and give the guys some room to work with. I was 100% behind Ralph, Marv, the BILLS, and the fans when they lost four superbowls. I was 100% behind them when Doug and Rob had their stint, and I am 100% behind them now. If you hate it that much, get the **** out. This train is boarding. ALL ABOARD!
  11. Round 1 DT Haloti Ngata 6-5 339 Oregon. Thanks, and so long Sam. Round 2 OT Ryan O'Callaghan 6-7 360 California. Good riddens to MW. Our new big run blocker with a huge upside. Can you say Ryan and Robert then Willis outside. Round 3-A CB Jason Allen 6-2 202 Tennessee. Terrence is good. Jason will start as a fast nickel back, 4.3 range. He may move into a good left corner in a couple of years. Round 3-B SS Dwayne Slay 6-3 214 Texas Tech. John Lynch kind of guy. Not the fastest safety, 4.80, but he creates havoc. Sack, fumbles, lost teeth, etc. 1st and 2nd down kind of guy. Could start. Big guy, new breed. No nickel or dimes though, we have fast DB's to cover that. Like Jsaon Allen. The final just pick em rounds could include: 4th QB - DT 5th LB - QB 6th G - LB 7th DT - G
  12. Why do people live in the past? The only time I wanna live in the past is when the BILLS make the Superbowl again and they pull out the old tapes as motivation. Folks, tomorrow is today. What must we do now is what is to be asked.
  13. Getting Ngata is a must, retainig Sam Adams to mold him is as well. 3-4 yes. Our DEs are 3/4 the way there. We have 3 awesome linebackers, as well as great corners, and great safties. I think our major concern next is o-line. We need guys with heart who care about winning and not mega-millions, that is for the lottery players. Marv will bring heart and character back. Remember when Phil (Hansen) retired why he retired. "These young kids have no work ethic". Marv will re-instill that. Go Marv and Dick.
  14. Isn't Duke a good option at left guard, and a good FA center a possibility? Only time is gonna tell. One thing is for sure, Duke showed promise and has a huge upside, but center is an experienced player position.
  15. Certainly Mario Williams will be gone by then.
  16. Is Trey a free agent? If not, is his release possible? Is LaCharles Bentley gonna be available in free agency? What other centers might be available in FA?
  17. With the excitement of another season of Buffalo Bills football upon us, and Marv Levy being back, I can't help but getting excited. The potential of the draft is very exciting, but can be a letdown also. The thought of Buffalo getting Ngata is exciting. I have seen many mock drafts having him going to Oakland, San Francisco. The question is, do we trade up, what happens if he goes before Buffalo picks, who else is a first round possibility for a need to be filled position. Marv seems to be high on defense. Should we read anything into that? Who else can Buffalo release to save us some money to get a couple of good free agants?
