  1. Beast Mode your draft is the best that I have seen, not only from a best probability and best results standpoint. Most of these mocks are so far off and have players overinflated by media bias. If your mock is the Bills draft this year that's an A+
  2. Johnny if you haven't seen him play the run how do you know he can't do it? You'll have to watch the Cotton Bowl against LSU and you can see him against Barksdale, who is huge. WSS - I'm with you there is no comparison between the two
  3. Von already plays OLB in a 3/4 type scheme at A&M, is the best in coverage out of any LB you will find and you can see it some in the highlights and if you want to see if he can hold up go find some clips of the Oklahoma or Oklahoma State games last year against Williams and Okung....he more than handles it. Don't let the measurables fool you. All of Pittburgh's LB's were about the same size when they came out of college. Maybin it looks like is the exception to the rule. The one year wonder that didn't belong.
  4. Gets going about the 1 minute mark...Maybin can't hold this kid's jock.
  5. Fitz, how many times have you seen Von play? If you have there is no way you can call him Maybin 2.0
  6. It's the right decision The thinking is that you score to end the half & then get the ball to start the 2nd half. It's how teams take over games
  7. Nice start but on the first day of the bowl games you don't even have the best player listed as draftable and he'll get drafted before Reynolds and Rich from BYU......Jerrell Jernigan, WR Troy.....you may want to get him in your draftek. The kid is playing in the Senior Bowl.
  8. Bowens, Harris, Ah You are still in the league playing for other teams. The bigger problem is lack of sticking with 1 coaching staff and system so we don't have to constantly change personnel to match the scheme.
  9. No luck for Bills … … at least this week as Buffalo rallied from down 21 points in Cincinnati to beat the Bengals 49-31 to improve their record to 2-8. Meanwhile, injury-riddled Carolina at least gave Baltimore a game early, but ultimately lost 37-13 to the Ravens and dropped to 1-9. As a result, Carolina would have the #1 pick were the 2011 draft held today, while Buffalo, which has been sitting on the top pick much of the season, would actually only have the 4th pick as of today. In fact, were the draft held today, Cincinnati would pick second, while Detroit would have the 3rd selection. At the same time, Arizona would round out the top 5. As usual, the full, updated first-round selection order will be posted after Monday night’s game. http://www.gbnreport.com/index.htm

  12. Not a better team, just an easier schedule, in fact the easiest to date. http://www.gbnreport.com/weeklydraftorder.html Of course we have the hardest schedule to date...
  13. "You let me know when you hear a whistle,'' Tomlin said. "That's one of my contentions. There's been a de-emphasis on the whistle, as far as I'm concerned, in the National Football League and I don't agree with it. We talk about player safety, yet we don't blow whistles at the end of football plays. So that's kind of a misnomer when you're talking about the whistle. What we want to do is play till the action ceases." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/26/tomlin-takes-a-shot-at-the-nfl/ enough said....
  14. He ends up playing for Houston..the question is, how will he get there? Trade or release and sign.
  15. FWIW, we are not last in the division or the AFC according to this simulation website. http://whatifsports.com/beyondtheboxscore/...yoffPredictions
  16. tgreg99 Your thinking is flawed. All those teams that you mention that use the committee approach have taken RB's in the 1st round, sometimes multiple times. Whether or not they are super stars isn't the point, they all used high picks on the position. It is still very relevant to have a good run game to help your passing attack and teams still place a premium on the RB position. New Orleans - Bush #2 pick overall Indy - Adai and Brown were both 1st round picks Tennessee - Johnson 1st round Steelers - Mendenhall 1st round Carolina - Williams and Stewart 1st round New England - Maroney 1st round Dallas - Jones 1st round I threw in a couple others for you just to point out that it may be a committee but the teams are still taking the position high. A running game that dominates makes it easier for a QB, so maybe that's part of what Chan is thinking. Spiller is fast enough and explosive enough that he doesn't need the best line because all he needs is just a crease for a spit second and he's gone.
  17. The Senior Bowl is next week and practices don't start until monday for it. Go to the website and check your facts next time.
  18. tonyd19, I guess you never heard of Brian Uhlacher. He was a college safety and was/is a good MB when he's healthy but you're right no one has done it.
  19. I have taken a real wonderlic test in the past for work and scored a 32. I just scored 9/9 on this. It is no where near the real thing. I remember reading an article in SI or Sporting News that only 1 player has scored a perfect score ever on the Wonderlic and it was a punter from Yale or Princeton, some Ivy school. This sample is far too easy to be the real thing.
  20. That trade won't happen and neither of those 3rd round picks will still be on the board in the third. Great hypothetical, but not gonna happen.
  21. It has grown very quickly in florida because of good food and atmosphere. They will have a crowd but I don't if mobbed.
  22. Find a Miller's Ale House, they have good food and will have the game on for sure. There are a few in the Orlando area, I just can't tell you exactly where, it's been a while since I've been there.
  23. Problematic thinking but comparing basketball and football is like comparing apples to oranges. Cutler doesn't play defense.
  24. Culter didn't play QB the whole game against Mid Tenn. they played a younger kid and Cutler played some WR, so that can't be all his fault
  25. Vince puts the deep ball out to a spot and lets his very talented receivers make catches. On the intermediate throws to the TE, how often does the TE adjust to make the catch...a lot, that is not an NFL arm.
