  1. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/rankings.html It isn't finished yet but will have your top 100 when all the juniors have cleared.
  2. Rod Wright isn't in the top 5 of DT's if you watch him. If you believe the Texas Hype machine he's the best. He might be the laziest player in college football. UNDERACHIEVER!!!
  3. Another side note that Felser goofed was that Modrak came to Buffalo at the beginning of the 2001 season and was part of the team that picked Mike Williams.
  4. To move from #12 to #2 would likely cost you a #1 next year because the #2 pick if worth 2800 or 2600 (depending on the chart you use) and #12 is only worth 1200 points and #11 is worth 1300 at best. So in order to make up the points, you would have to give up your second this year and a first or second next year as well. It's a steep price. Here's a chart http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/6330687
  5. Go back and read all the posts. I said that he did a good job but bringing him back wouldn't be a good idea because of age and look at the draft decline. Read the whole thread. The whole point is that everyone has an opinion and I don't agree with yours and I was telling you why with examples.
  6. So if the Bills had the best draft in 2001 according to you then why was Carolina in the Super Bowl with their players and the Bills were watching them play on TV??????????
  7. No agenda, just tired of listening to people talk circles and moan about things and not actually look at the facts. If we are going to complain then back up your complaints with the truth and objectivity. Disease - are you not paying attention...only 1 pick from the entire 2001 draft 2nd day is even in the league and there is only 2 healthy starters for the bills and one is a headcase NC, so what is your case?
  8. I was talking about the whole draft but since none of our 2nd day picks are in the league (Except for Williams)there is no point talking about that because those other teams obviously did better there, so let's compare apples to apples and talk about the top guys, so if you are not talking about the top guys, you are not talking about anything.
  9. That's the best you can come up with after argueing about the complete wrong thinga and are you going to tell me that you wouldn't take just the 2 top players off any of those drafts over ours. Well, if that's the case, enjoy not sniffing the playoffs.
  10. Fury, I guess you weren't smart enough to actually read the link you send since the page itself actually says that it's the 2000 draft on the top of the page and the rest of you for just taking his word and not taking a look yourself...pick a better leader next time.

  12. I think that's great that you clowns want to compare Buffalo's 2001 draft with eveyone else's 2000 draft. Get your facts straight before you start calling people out. Who's the slappy and funny guy. CLOWNS!!!
  13. SDS you prove my point, how can you say you want him back because he is the reason the teams drafted well and then when things don't go your way, you say he wasn't responsible for the drafts. Which one is it?
  14. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/years/2001 That is the 2001 draft. Gets your stuff straight. Fury you are clueless.
  15. Of course they were playing back, we had a lead with less than a minute, you are going to give up the play in front of you and not get beat deep in press coverage. It was a great read by TMc and a great play. One of the big reasons we won the game, players stepped up yesterday and made a bog play when it was needed and that hasn't happened enough in the last few years. Schobel's 3rd down sack, Reed's 3rd down catch. TMc 2 big plays. That's what winning teams do. Make plays when they are needed.
  16. The '99 draft has Antoine and that's it. Newman is a back up and Bryson has never been anything but a backup. The rest is GARBAGE and out of the league. So try again.
  17. #94 is not a pro bowl player, don't even try to make that stretch. You want to put him in the same bracket as Freeny, Strahan, Peppers. Those are pro bowl DE's. Schobel is above average and a guy you will win with but he's not a pro bowler. The only reason JJ got big money is because he was the only one available and was over paid, that's why he went to the worst team. Need I remind you we have a 2nd day pick that is a pro bowl player from a recent draft. That's where the team gets better. Go to NFL.com and take a look for yourself, there are plenty and 7th rounders that are not only starters but good players.
  18. Again, if you had read the earlier post I wouldn't have to write it again. I am saying that in the later part of his picks he was not as good as he had been and that bringing him back would not be a good idea. If we are going to replace the current regime then let's move forward not backwards.
  19. How do you know those are the players he wanted and he didn't actually draft the players he did want. Were you in the draft room looking at the board and listening to the conversations. That is a HUGE assumption on your part. I still am waiting to see how you are saying that 2001 was such a good draft. Look at the stats and where the players are now and tell me how that was a great draft. 1 player out of 6 in the second day is still in the LEAGUE, ONE!!!!!
  20. Again you are assuming that he is willing and able to still do it. There is a reason that he was not retained or didn't want to stay and maybe the fact that he was in a diminished role was the reason, so why would he come back in a diminished capacity. Teams with better drafts than Bufflalo in 2001: San Diego, Carolina, Baltimore, Atlanta just to name a few. All of buffalo's picks that are still playing were in the first day all the second day picks but one or not even IN the NFL now.
  21. Yeah, I must be. All I'm saying is that you can't go back and bringing DA back would be an even bigger mistake. The point of it all was that he is WAY up there in age and in his last years the game had obviously passed him by in the way of what talent is playing, so we need to move forward and look to the next Polian type to make decisions that will improve the team. Use the Patsy's as an example, they have a very young staff but yet they bring in talent with every pick that they can use to win games.
  22. 2000 - Not great. Nice try to spin. It was terrible!!!!! Look at the picks, who cares what was said at the time of the picks. Look at the on field results, that's all that matters. 2001 - 4 solid starters. I see 2 and 2 more that are spot starters when they are healthy and neither of them have been healthy a full season and a returner only, not even a back up. TH couldn't start here of where he was traded so there goes your theory on that. I don't see anything 'very good' about that. If that's a swan song then we are in big trouble if he comes back for 2006. We will be in the same spot in 5 years from now. And I know when TM was hired, that's why I was saying look at DA's last 2 drafts. Learn to read first.
  23. Hear your wind fury but the facts don't lie. do some research instead of blowing hard.
  24. Far from excellent. One true starter, one overrated player an oft injured player that has yet to play 16 games in a season, banged up back and a returner only. How about 2000????? 2001 was also with TD, so you are saying he had a good draft?
