  1. I'm confused. How can a work of fiction (meaning it isn't a true story) "lie" to you?
  2. Nope, I have better things to do with my spirituality than be lied to.
  3. I agree 100%. I can't understand why some seriously deranged posters can come to the conclusion that rewarding this behavior by making the slug the highest paid LT in the NFL would be a good idea. Hell, after learning more about his dumbass attitude, I think even the boatload they were offering him would have been too much.
  4. Eagles got a fat, lazy !@#$ who showed his true colors last year by sucking. Last time I looked, elite LTs took pride in how they play. He didn't. And you make this dumbass argument about about him being elite? Stop smoking crack.
  5. When the Bills talk about character, this is exactly what they mean. His BS impacted the entire team. I was somewhat remorseful of the trade until I read this. Fantastic trade!
  6. I think you both need to just go with the flow.
  7. So you don't think Jackson or Lynch will get injured this year, leaving us short? You don't think that having a great 3rd stringer in an offense that requires 2 backs is important? You don't think that WR is our deepest position? Other than that, great post!
  8. I can think of a few posters who should read that memo and come to the same conclusion.
  9. Why? Because he's overpaid for the role he plays with us, and with our talent at WR he won't see the field ever. Not only that, a KR/PR is easy to replace and we likely have one or two on our roster RIGHT NOW. The Bills would be remiss not to get value for a guy who is, as much as a few fools would deny this, expendable and easily replaceable. Getting value for him would allow the bills to expand the TALENT on the team by moving up in the draft or using the picks gained to get another solid veteran at another position. Parrish is replaceable on KR/PR by both McGee AND McKelvin. He's replaceable at WR by any WR currently on Buffalo's roster because Parrish has done nothing at WR. I'm not saying that I don't think Parrish can be electrifying and is a fantastic returner - he is. I'm just saying it would be wise to get value for a guy who is expendable and might not make the team, anyway. For all the bitching people do about how the Bills are never like the patriots in their personnel moves, this is one instance where they are doing EXACTLY what the patriots do. They are interested in getting value for an overpaid player, who has a replacement (or two) right on the roster. Makes perfect sense.
  10. Trading Parrish would be an excellent move. Buffalo has an abundance of good WRs. With Owens coming into the field, Steve Johnson emerging, Hardy entering his second year, Josh Reed having excellent hands and fantastic blocking abilities, McKelvin showing promise at returning, and McGee having experience as a return guy, there is absolutely no way anyone can ever think that getting value for a player in a crowded position is a bad idea. There is no way all those WRs make the team, and it makes sense to get value when you can. Why would getting value for a player who isn't a great WR stupid? It isn't. It's smart.
  11. Some people have a very odd understanding of what free speech is. Sure, he can say whatever he wants. the issue is that Facebook is a PRIVATE entity, and a private entity can limit speech however they want. You might want to educate yourself on what freedom of speech really means.
  12. I don't know where you get your information, but he signed for MORE with Philly.
  13. Some of the mouth-breathers around here won't be happy unless the Bills somehow sign a RB coming off a pro-bowl and SB as our 3rd stringer. Oh, and for the vet minimum. the idiots around here really get on my nerves sometimes.
  14. No kidding. The Bills traded up to get JP Losman and McCargo and now humiliated? Please.
  15. Kornheiser seems like the latest muse they insert into the announcing booth. The whole idea of a non-football person is stupid. Rush Limbaugh was horrible and politically alienating, Dennis Miller was only marginally better and wasn't a fit because he comes across as an elitist jerk, and Kornholer is just plain annoying. I think they should do away with the whole idea of having some idiot in the booth like those guys.
  16. Great story. I don't care about stories any more. I'd rather win and go to the playoffs. If the guy can't contribute, screw him. Can he contribute? No? Screw him.
  17. Obsured? Really? Obsured? Sheesh.
  18. The fact is that most people around here won't be happy unless our 3rd backup is a 4-time probowler and has two SB rings.
  19. This will be a season where the Bills will need some bounces to go their way to be successful. It can happen! That's why we watch, right?
  20. On a short fuggin week.
  21. There's a good chance I'll be there. Depends what time the dishwasher repairman is coming.
  22. And so you are expecting a rookie in the first game of the year to provide that spark? Isn't it a little early in the morning to be drinking?
  23. I watched all of Mike Williams' games when he was a rookie. He was friggin AWESOME!
