Agree 95%. That's nuts for his age, but he's gotta learn that it's not HOW MANY notes you play, it's WHAT notes you play. All that kid really did is switch between modes/scales and went up and down, then down then up, added a few taps, did some sweeps and that's it. Impressive for his age, but that's about it. You probably feel bad because you have human qualities like loyalty, etc. Businesses don't have those qualities, as much as they might say they do. I guess what I'm trying to say is that GMs tell you NOTHING. We have no idea about what Donahoe is planning or doing, or why he is doing it. For example, just because he supported Gregggg Williams in public, doesn't mean he wanted to fire the guy after season two. Just because he supports Lindell in public doesn't mean he wants to improve that position. It's a GMs job not to tell the fans everything, folks.

I don't know many people that stand up for Lindell. Actually, I don't know many people who stand up for Donahoe's handling of the PK position. I think Donahoe is great, with the exception of his kicking neglect.

I think Pat is a great player, and I think he's getting the typical "He's not a Bill any more so let's trash him" treatment here. Pat is allowed his opinions. Before he left he stated that he wanted to stay. He only had good things to say about Buffalo. At this point, he is commenting on what he thinks will help his popularity on the Vikings. I think he's wrong, but whatever. Jerry Gray has shown to be a far better defensive coach than Cotrell over the past few years, anyway. Even though Pat is a great player, Sam Adams is better. And Pat is replaceable.
