  1. Mario Williams would be the pick if he is still available, another guy is Tamba Hali (Penn State).
  2. I would add: Lindell can actually kick field goals, and High Motor white guys work in the Big 12, but not the NFL.
  3. I agree with you, but Runyan shouldn't cost as much as the young Pro Bowler.
  4. Your right on the mark with this call. He would be great!
  5. I love the Bills just as much. I just don't think this organization cares about winning as much as the fans do and I am getting tired of it. How long do you think Tom Donahoe would have lasted running the Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys, or Real Madrid for that matter? Also, don't give me this money BS because Wilson spent about $5 million for this team that is worth about $600 million today. That is an annual return of approximately 15%, a lot of fund managers would like that track record, but like a bad manager he doesn't re-invest in his team and that is what we are not happy about!
  6. They are really weak in other areas, but I think the coaching has allowed them to over come these issues. A lot of people had them picked for dead last in the East.
  7. You have to learn somewhere unfortunately for us.
  8. Fumbles, how is it hanging? Some guys were talking about making a shrine in our honor?
  9. They also beat a good San Diego team who was in the middle of a playoff race. Honestly, I like their receivers, tight ends, and running backs a hell of a lot more then our guys. If they find a capable QB they could be good next year.
  10. Your right about them being above average until last year, but they were a train wreck and have rebounded nicely. What I like about Saban's job is steady improvement over the course of the year, which shows me his philosophy/message is sinking in. I don’t follow this team closely, but I just feel Saban has a blue print or idea that he plans to follow closely, which is not what I have seen in Buffalo. One day they preach power and the next day they draft 168 lb. slot receiver?
  11. There was a post earlier today ripping this guy, I actually wouldn't be surprised if he pulls a mini-Bill Belichick in his next coaching gig. Buffalo was definitively a learning experience for him, and if he upgrades the assistants on his staff I have a feeling he is going to do well with his next HC job. He knows defense and I would venture to guess that Donahoe didn’t give him too much latitude in personnel decisions. I would bet a lot of money Mike Williams was not Gregg’s choice, especially with a Roy Williams on the board. The way Joe Gibbs courted this guy, he has to be good. Anyways, I am glad to see him do well.
  12. I hope he makes it back, he was a great player for a while there.
  13. Good point, but I like the quality of their wins better than ours last year.
  14. Nice Head Coach hire and a solid top of the first round draft pick, not too difficult is it?
  15. Thank you New York for fulfilling my prophecy, I have to say, The Pipe was right again! If any illusions remain about the management of the Buffalo Bills may they rest in the bowels of East Rutherford, New Jersey. I might add, along with many other poor souls. Let the wrecking ball begin its deadly pendulum motion. Ralph Wilson, you are front and center baby, good luck in pulling this team out of its graveyard spiral. Mr. Donahoe, you might be able to outlaw signs in the stadium, but you cannot stop the reflection in the mirror every morning. Eric Moulds, many thanks to a fantastic player, good luck in landing with an organization that is worthy enough to have you; you are a great player! Not let the interesting part of the Bills season begin, my how have things changed in the last 10 or 12 years!
  16. Your not crazy, if this guy is the best player on the board when the Bills draft then he should be the selection. Outside of Fletcher, the kickers, Schobel, McGee, and Evans, there could be an easy argument to upgrade any of the remaining positions that is how bad this team is.
  17. Why would we even want to waste a pick on this guy? He is not the same athlete as Carson Palmer, doesn't have his arm strength and has marginal mobility, actually reminds me of Bledsoe. In addition, he is soft! He was a slam dunk 1st pick over all last year, but he passed on millions to goof around SoCal another year with his buddy Nick Lachey. He is clearly benefactor of the system. His team is so much better then the talent it plays against that he cannot help but being successful. In addition, he has already had elbow surgery once.
  18. Complete over reaction. He has shown a lot of good things, strong arm, mobility, workaholic, and toughness. Unfortunately he is the victim of a very bad supporting cast including coaches. A lot of good quarterbacks in this league had less than memorable beginnings. As the talent improves this kid should grow into an above average player. We cannot forget that this is a very bad football team. What kind of expectations can anybody really have with the worst offensive line in the league, basically no running game, not an NFL tightend on the roster, a declining star wide receiver, and a defense unable to take the ball away or provide decent field position? Dan Marino would not succeed with this group!
  19. Cried wolf? The boy has been eaten by the wolf along time ago!
  20. You bring up an excellent point. The issue becomes do you draft to fill a position, hence drafting a person not worthy of that spot, which forces the organization to over pay for that person, or do you draft the very best football player available, someone who has the best chance for the Pro Bowl and possible Hall of Fame career. Regarding this team, I think the best available player makes the most sense considering the amount of holes that need to be patched. I think the Bills need to think about AJ Hawk. Bush would be the selection, but he will not be available and both quarterbacks have plenty of shortcomings. If the new management team concludes that JP will be a bust then I rather see a trade for Phillip Rivers than see us take either Leinart or the Texas kid.
  21. I cannot not believe what that guy did in the Indy game yesterday. He is 270 and can run like the wind.
