  1. I recall the Fox Analyst, Moss I believe, giving kudos to the Bill's defensive line and saying that for 2nd stringers they played very well, little does he know that Donahoe traded up to get some of those second stringers that they are actually starters.
  2. He actually made a nice tackle on the goal line, but things reverted back to the norm rather quickly. Hey, but he is a great club house and community fellow.
  3. 1.) One step closer to securing a high draft pick! 2.) Another nail in Mr. Donahoe's coffin 3.) Losman will be a very good one once the talent around him improves, make no mistake this guy can play. The interception at the end is only part of the learning curve.
  4. He is an out of shape fat slob that should be cut tomorrow along with Sam Adams!
  5. I believe you are correct in that TD is trying to copy the New England approach to things, but as you mention, New England correctly uses free agency to fill holes and provide depth, while building the nucleus threw the draft. Regardless, I think the big problem with TD is he never recovered from the Bill Cowher power struggle and is seeing to it that he doesn't make that mistake again. As a result we have become the victims of his insecurities. The current coach of the Bills should have been either John Fox, Marvin Lewis, or Charlie Weiss, end of story. One would think that Ralph Wilson has been around too long not to understand the importance of a strong coach? If it was a question of giving Lewis and million or two per year extra it would have been money well spent verses what he has pissed away the last 5 seasons in the collective salaries of Gregg Williams and now Mulurkey. I really wonder what decision these fools would make if Jimmy Johnson said he was available for $5 to 6 mil. per year or whatever the Tuna makes in Big D? The answer to this question is probably the same answer to all our current pain!
  6. You forgot to mention a coach that took a poor Notre Dame team and in one year has them on the verge of a BCS bowl game, with little or no time to recruit this past offseason.
  7. Again, 100% agree with your comments. There really is no clarity of thought coming out of this organization. I also think what your 5 bullets might suggest is a hint of desperation by MM and Moose.
  8. I for one have been extremely critical of Tom Donahoe’s personnel decisions more so than the coaching hires, but after watching yesterday’s quality second game that order might have to be switched. Both the Broncos and Cowboys featured plenty of old receivers and several high profile re-treads yet collectively they played like competent football players. Regardless of playing in front of a much better line that allows him to go through his progressive reads, the Dallas version of Bledsoe looked much more disciplined and should I dare say cerebral. He made a lot of good throws in face of stiff pressure, quite often checked down to safety valves, and even threw balls away to avoid the sack. It doesn’t hurt to have a real tight-end like they do, but regardless bumbling Bledsoe looks a hell of a lot better than the version we saw for 3 years. It also appears that Shanahan has finally broken the bucking bronco known as Jake Plummer who in the past was always good for 4 or 5 Buffalo Bill Bledsoe throws a game. Denver’s defensive line featuring a Mike William’s type bust, Courtney Brown, played tremendously disciplined gap defense with well disguised blitzes unlike our throw the kitchen sink schemes. There was one play that really illustrated the coaching thing to me; when Dallas was pinned at their goal line they called a naked bootleg with Bledsoe rolling in the flat and the tight-end peeling off the line. Frankly a great call considering Bledsoe’s mobility, but the rookie Bronco corner never left the tight-end until Bledsoe was forced to cross the line of scrimmage after which he quickly became a wounded zebra for a very fast cheetah. Can anyone imagine Posey or the play maker showing that kind of discipline or understanding of the situation that quickly? The play calling was also great stuff. After the Champ Bailey touchdown, Dallas turns around and calls the exact same play, like he did before, Bailey jumps the route, but this time it allows K. Johnson to find a seam for a wide open touchdown solely because of Bailey’s aggressiveness. Our Notre Dame Lawyer offensive coordinator could learn a thing or two from these football jarheads coaching yesterday’s game. And for all the Moulds gripers 100 years old K. Johnson, Rod Smith, and Terry Glenn sure can still get down field, agreed their lines are better, but neither team has a Willis in the backfield. A lot of balls were thrown to spots on the field, before the receivers got out of their breaks, which illustrates to me confidence in the play called. Which leaves me with the question, is coaching the real problem for the Buffalo Bills?
  9. The fuel for this post came from yesterday's quick removal of the Red Dragon post where he merely stated that he correctly predicted the outcome in San Diego. I apologize if my selection of words and analogies offended anyone, but I feel a message had to be sent to the governors of this website, especially on the eve of Thanksgiving commemorating the sacrifices made by the early settlers. In addition, our team is going nowhere fast and a grassroots movement by the fans is much needed at this time.
  10. LABillzFan, Thank you for providing the illustration to my narrative. Well done. You remind me of Nate Clemens biting on a half hearted pump fake! Happy Thanksgiving
  11. It is extremely troublesome to me that the moderators of this so called “open forum” continue to deploy Gestapo tactics reminiscent of 1930’s Germany, 1920’s Russia, Serbia, or some of the extreme dictatorships of Central Africa. In an extreme case, one could easily assimilate these tactics with the ethnic cleansing practiced by these brutal regimes mentioned above except in this instance the extermination is being performed on prophetic thinkers that do not subscribe to the governing of the Buffalo Bills of which we are all constituents. Men like Swaggart, SoCal Bill, and now the Red Dragon have been driven to exile for sharing scripture and visions that on the face appear radical and fascist, but are actually predictions that have ALL materialized with every passing Sunday, especially this last one. Nostradamus would envy the track record of these great men, I vividly recall SoCal Bill demanding the termination of Tom Donahoe not last week, but two seasons ago! Swaggart adamantly disagreed with Mel Kiper’s analysis of Mike Williams that dreadful day in April 2002. Yet the vast majority of citizens of this website including the honorable stewards continue to treat these men like “doom sayers” or snake charmers in a crowded Moroccan market. The hypocrisy of the governance of this website is alarming and parallels destructive organizations like the Branch Davidians or Jim Baker’s PTL empire. I constantly have to wade through poorly written passages on nonsensical topics like Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, Where to go in Buffalo questions, and the ghastly “I am going to U2 tonight” postings laced with profanity, sexual overtures, and grammatical debauchery, yet these perpetrators of the English language are given the golden key to the website because of their fundamentalist belief that any day now Mike Gandy will metamorphosis into the next Walter Jones or possibly Coy Wire into the next Ed Reed or Roy Williams. On the other hand, an insightful post educating the masses on Holcomb’s dish rag arm, Teague’s poor technique, or the overreaction to the Lake Minnetonka pleasure cruise is quickly addressed with a gang beating and swift execution from the database. Jerry Sullivan has made a living plagiarizing material from these men. Honestly, if a pleasure cruise with some of Fort Erie’s finest would get this team to 500, I would personally fund and captain the motley voyage! Can anyone really blame an elitist like the Red Dragon for being aggravated with a drunken face painter proving to everyone on the 50 yard that he or she understands the meaning of a first down? People like these men work hard to achieve a superior status in society, thus they have earned the right to complain. Respectfully, I hope the esquires of this fine media forum will consider my desperate plea for granting these men a canvas they rightfully deserve. Their ideas and philosophies might reside in the tails of this site’s distribution curve, but it is thinking like this that has allowed man to visit the moon and circumvent the global with merely a sailboat. Collectively our parents or grandparents have most likely escaped tyrannies like this website has become to come to a land were fertile ideas are rewarded and not met with oppression or torture. Who knows, their rebellious nature and revolutionary thinking could fuel a removal of the bourgeoisie currently occupying the front office of our football team. I would like to propose a referendum involving the good citizens of this website to determine if only positive messages, including blind optimism should be the sole right to immigration. If so, I am sure these men will be able to handle the verdict and go quietly.
  12. At least this guy is dealing with reality, not like the folks at One Bills Drive!
  13. Finally a competent move out of One Bills Drive. I guess his last minute call didn't fool anyone from San Diego last week?
  14. According to Bill Belichick, Kelly couldn't read a defense to save his life and that is why the Giants won Super 25.
  15. Looking at his articles over the last month or so, he actually appears to be a Bill's fan, but he has obviously been driven to the edge like the rest of us!
  16. Went to the game yesterday and your post is 200% accurate. The only thing I would add to your 12 days to Christmas list is how in the hell to Josh Reed win the receiver of the year award in college football in 2001? Holy cow is that guy bad!
  17. After leaving that stadium yesterday, all I could think is if Mr. Donahoe had any dignity left he would resign instead of wait for Mr. Wilson to come around. Yesterday was the best indictment of Donahoe’s progress as a GM of the Buffalo Bills. Both the Charger’s and Bill’s front offices were overhauled at the exact same time and the progress report was 48-10, if it were a little league baseball game we could have all gone home at halftime! There are a lot of interesting ideas about player personnel and coaching decisions on this website regarding this upcoming off-season, but the fact remains we are all assuming that Donahoe will finally figure out the recipe for winning and how to judge talent between January and next September, which is too large of an assumption given his 5 year track record with this organization and the fact Pittsburgh is even better today then when TD navigated that ship. People can cry all they want about coaching, but the simple truth is this team doesn’t have the horses to compete. We cannot blame the late Mr. Butler, Gregg Williams, or Mike Mulurkey for Bennie Anderson, Trey Teague, Mike Williams, all the tight-ends on the roster, Josh Reed, Chris Kelsey, Tim Anderson, Sape, Jeff Posey, Lawyer Milloy, Coy Wire, etc. Just this past week, a long time Bronco fan friend of mine shook my hand for no apparent reason and then informed me he was thanking me for taking Trey Teague off of his hands a couple of years ago. I bet we can find some Bear fans that think the same of our “heist” of their organization. One can give Bob Baffert the best donkey in the world and even he couldn’t get that animal to place in the Kentucky Derby and that is the exact problem with the Buffalo Bills. So continue to post the entertaining ideas of drafting D’Brickashaw Ferguson or signing LeBentley Charles as a FA, but the fact remains until we remove the drunk driver from behind this wheel all we can look forward to is hitting the next “Mike Williams” iceberg on the horizon.
  18. I am sure FEMA had a game plan too prior to Katrina! Coaching involves making adjustments to the situation and not constantly banging your head against the wall regardless of the situation, which is either recognized as stubborness or moronic not exactly the qualities I want in a head coach.
  19. That is an organization headed in the right direction. Lets see, 14 minutes to go, two score lead, why don't we just keep blitzing!
  20. Is there any interest out there for tickets to this Sunday's Chargers Game? I have 4 seats in section V32 (View Level), row 13, seats 6, 7, 8 and 9. The face value is $71 per ticket, but I am more interested in moving them then getting my money back. They are actually part of Losman's family ticket allocation, so you will be in good company depending how he plays. I will guage the interest and then figure a way to contact interest parties.
  21. You people are nuts, this guy is a very very good cornerback and if we let him get away we are crazy. He is physical and big and makes a lot of plays. Every great CB is going to look foolish from time to time, just see what TO did to Champ Bailey two weeks ago to get my point. Last year, he shut Chad Johnson completely out, granted Palmer was injuried, but still it was impressive. The only person that regularly burns this guy is Randy Moss and that is about it.
