  1. That secondary is mediocre. Might be okay in the regular season, but I recall the Vikings, Chiefs, Lions, Bengals didn't have any problems moving the ball against it.
  2. He looked like a bum against Cinci. He resigned in Buffalo because he, and the rest of the league, know he's over the hill.
  3. Bud Grant at the end of the piece: "You gotta be able to live with losing. That's the hardest thing; to get over it. I mean, you can't let it eat you up,..." Sage advice, and not just football.
  4. I'd like to see Terrel Bernard get a look at safety. His 40 time (4.59) his very close to Jordan Poyer's.
  5. Seems to me Burrow was throwing underneath successful all day in that playoff game, plus Mixon was running wild.
  6. How do you entice a qualified replacement if Frazier is just taking a one year hiatus? This excuse sounds contrived.
  7. Booth Lusteg (University of Connecticut) missing a 23 yard field goal with six seconds left to beat the San Diego Chargers at War Memorial on October 16, 1966, after Buffalo rallied from a 17-0 deficit to tie. Even with that heartbreaker, Buffalo made it to the AFL Championship that season.
  8. Point taken. Thanks for compiling those stats. Anecdotally, and viscerally, watching those games, it seemed those aforementioned QB's were able to move the ball with disquieting regularity. Like anyone else on this board, I express my opinions. I am not some troll on here. I've been following this football team since 1965, and like everyone else on here, I want a championship, and patience has worn thin with excuses. Cheers!
  9. The Bills, as presently constituted, have been figured out; guys like Mac Jones, Mike White, and Skylar Thompson seemingly having career days against Buffalo; no. power running game; max pressure and spy on Allen. Allen getting the crap beat out of him because he has to carry this offense far too many times. With this management and staff in place, winning, and advancing will only become harder.
  10. Spot on! If the playoff futility continues, Diggs frustration will grow. At some point, seeing his prime years passing him by, he'll ask for a trade.
  11. If he hasn't won a championship, he hasn't won anything. That's why they play, from the opening day of training camp, to the last play in the Super Bowl. If you could peer into the future, able to see that the Bills would win an average of 12 games per season for the next five seasons, but be eliminated every year in the playoffs, do you think knowing that, Buffalo fans would be satisfied? Hell no!
  12. As a subset of Carolina connected coaching and football ops, you have to include McDermott and Beane. That makes 8 out of 36. But, you completely left out the gaggle of former Carolina players, from Mike Tolbert to Mario Addison, and every one in between.
  13. Why is dissent toxic? This management has us in cap hell, has drafted poorly, have no accountability, and have not progressed. You sound appeased!
  14. It's also indicative that this management are stuck on familiar in other aspects; they are not innovative, and that makes them easier to predict and counter. A broken clock...
  15. Save your sanctimony about "people still blaming...". Any person, Bills fan or not, would be touched reading this account by Jessica Pegula. The coaching failures are manifestly an "on field" issue, and were evident months before Kim's emergency., "13 seconds" being the most infamous.
  16. I've been watching this team for 57 years. If you want to watch them win a championship, you'll have to watch this one. I have zero faith they will ever win one with this management and coaching staff. I think they peaked last season.
  17. That is a specious argument, "they won 14 games". They can't win a championship for tangible reasons; substandard defensive coaching and scheming in playoffs two years running; an inadequate offensive line unable to protect possibly the quarterback, or establish a consistent run game; poor drafting in multiple years, particularly in the top rounds. The response, or lack of, from One Bills Drive appears to be business as usual. I for one, would like to hear something from ownership.
  18. It's a business: win or you're "replaced". Nothing hard about that concept.
  19. Thank you! I would emphatically add, "l'audace l'audace toujours l'audace"...Frederick the Great
  20. Fortune favors the bold: get rid of both coordinators. If McDermott doesn't have the intestinal fortitude required to do it, he goes too. We are heading toward season 6 with a generational talent at QB, and have hit a brick wall because of coaching ineptitude; piss poor game management, inferior game planning.
  21. We are beyond three loss seasons as a metric for success. They mean nothing if you can't win the big one, especially given the Bills ignominious playoff exit the last two seasons, Thurm!
  22. As playoff bow-outs pile up, the Beane hype withers, whether it's his drafting or pro player personnel signings. You take away drafting Allen, trading for Diggs, and going into cap purgatory to sign Miller, and he appears all hat and no cattle. He had no answers, or accountability at his last presser. He and McDermott seem unwilling to make the hard, necessary changes, andI think the loveliest for them is over.
  23. Always thought this guy was one of our best scouts: https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/former-bills-chief-scout-norm-pollom-93-dies-in-california/article_9499fbac-8a08-59fc-a463-f8c78fa7ef74.html
