  1. Nodnarb your avatar brings back memories of my days riding on the bus to school. Love that game.
  2. I have to ask...why in the world would you have bought a M. Williams jersey to begin with? Hopefullt it was a gift from someone who knows little about football.
  3. What about the guy we drafted to play center? Duke Preston remember him?
  4. Lets keep the chopping block going with Posey, Reed, B. Anderson and Aiken. I dont care if we save a dollar by cutting them. Each player is a disappointment and can be another teams problem.
  5. There is no doubt some team will sign him after all thats how the nfl works. There is always a coach out there that thinks he can turn a bust into a probowler. Very few do. A year or two will go by and he will get cut again and then another coach will take that chance. So goes the life of a top 5 pick that has all the talent but no heart. Glad Marv said enough is enough and showed him the door. What a waste.
  6. Everytime that there is a player cut or not resigned that we have heard of, a thread starts about him in a Buffalo uniform. Law, Brees etc. Most of these guys have zero chance of being here nor should we want them to be. Lets get serious and talk about players the Bills will actually bring in and sign and improve the team rather than guys who other teams dont want.
  7. Harrison will be 34 when the season starts. Im sure he keeps himself in great condition but his cathces have dropped every season sice 02. It looks like the Colts feel they need to lock up Wayne who is 6 yrs younger. Im sure they will draft a wideout this draft or next and develop him just like they did with Wayne. Polian is always thinking ahead.
  8. all that does is give the Bills one more season to try and extend his contract. If they dont work out a deal then he walks next year for nothing in return. Its kind of a double edged sword. He will play is but off this season to get big money with another team nexy year. So we get a good year from him but he's gone in 07.
  9. Nick - I dont think a 30 something receiver who missed considerable time in 03 and 04 is the answer. We need a strong #2 with Evans moving into the #1 role. Think about this for a second- He had his best season in years with Seatle last year (10 tds) and they did not resign him as of yet. Why is that?
  10. Dont forget MM is the OC for the Fish and we all know he did wonders with Reed when he coached him here.
  11. He is just guessing. He does not mention where he obtained this valuable inside info which means he made it up. It wouldnt bother me if any of the things he predicted happens though.
  12. didnt Ward hold out for more money last season and the Steelers refused to give it to him. I wonder if he does the ssame this year?
  13. If you could have your pick of any wr in the league that you would want t o see play for the Bills who would it be? Keep in mind that some wideout come with baggage (Owens) and could be a distaction rather than an assett. My pick would be Chad Johnson. Sure he is following in the footsteps of Owens but the man can flat out play. If he gets the ball enough he usually keeps his mouth shut.
  14. It looks like the Redskins are about 20 million over the cap this year. After years of jackass Snyder throwing big bucks at players who never got him to the superbowl it finally has come back to bite him in the @ss. Watch for them to try and restructure any vet player they think they can to get under the cap. They have no choice. I wonder if they will just cut some high paid vets?
  15. Ive been reading different sites and seeing who is out nthere and who is likely to get the franchise tag. Most folks feel that Hutchinson (hawks) and Bentley (saints) will get the tag. So to sign them will cost us a pick even though they would upgrade our line. Chris Hope is an interesting player. He is young, 25, talented and played on the superbowl champs so has the experience. Plus he brings it on every down. He made 656,000 last yr. This might be a player to target for our seconday which has two old safety starters in Milloy and Vincent. Abraham (jets) will not be back in NY. CBS is reporting that he could be tagged then traded to SD for Rivers. He is young 28 and has 20 sacks over the past 2 seasons. He is the best DE out there and far better than both of our ends. However we probably should address our d tackles before we think about upgrading our ends. There are few tackles out there in FA so this must be done through the draft.
  16. you misunderstood. Every player should get paid what they are worth. In the interview Shannon implied that Nate deserves big bucks which I dont agree with. He is our best corner but compared to other corners in the nfl I feel he is middle of the pack. However he thinks he is the top three or four (from his comments) and if the Bills pay him top 3 money they are nuts.
  17. Everone on that list id either old, broken down or sucks. With the exception of Drew Brees.
  18. its nice to see that Shannon Sharp is telling Nate "he has to get paid". Just another reason that Nate thinks he is the one of the top cb's in the league. He has idiot former players filling his head with dumb thoughts.
  19. then we would have nothing to complain about- what fun is that? Seriously though I think the Bills know they have to address the line through the draft and FA but its nice to know that somebody TD drafted to play tightend has enough ability to play o-line and play it well.
  20. basketball and she does have a twin sister who played on the team too.
  21. Not sure if anyone watches american idle but the hottest girl in the top 12 females is from wny. Becky O'Donuhue played for Niagara University from 99-2002. She is actually from Dobbs Ferry NY but she was a purple eagle. Im almost positive that she has a twin sister that played too. I graduated from NU in 95 and saw her play a few times. Off topic but just thought Id throw this out there. If she was ugly I wouldnt bother.
  22. played organized basketball and baseball from little leagues through highschool. Also played football in highschool and learned more about teamwork in those 4 years from my varsity coach than I could have imagined. In college played intramural basketball and now 10 years later still play in summer tournaments. Not sure if beer league softball counts as a true sport but I play that as well. Being athletic doesnt make you an expert when it comes to commenting on sports by no means. However what it does do is teach you lessons in life that you can take with you through life. Like I said I was lucky enough to have had a coach who was a teacher and not just a loud mouth.
  23. $1000.00 per square and immediately after the game you have a chance to buy another square for next season with a $250 deposit. If you decline there is a waiting list amd the person next on the list can buy in. Crazy.
