I have mentioned the Jacobs in previous posts on this topic. Owner of Delaware North Company- Jeremy Sr still has a home in East Aurora. His son Jeremy Jr is very good friends with Jimbo and I always thought it was the Jacobs family who Kelly had lined up in his corner if and when the Bills would be for sale. With that being said even and Kelly with the financial support of the Jacobs family could not afford to get into a bidding war for the Bills. I personally believe a deal would need to be put into place prior to Ralph passing for this to happen. It just reminds me and bothers me every time this topic comes up that Ralph wont get his affairs in order and set something up with a prospective local buyer- or maybe he has with Toronto, who knows.

I agree 100%. Before the trade I said they should have taken Unger instead of Byrd and they actually made a smart move to trade up and grab the best guard. Love it. Build from the inside (center) outward. Hopefully they live up to their reputation of good and nasty players.

I like the pick alot. The Bills line needs good players. Wood will be the starting center & Levitre will play guard. Two young guyd playimg their natural position- not trying to make a someone play a postion they are not comfortable with.

I was thinking the whole time that they would take Unger and play him at guard with their round 2 pick. Two very good interior line man with the Wood pick for the next 10 years. Build the o-line from the inside out. Im a little disappointed this didnt happen.

Most "draft experts" say he would be a reeach at our pick but who cares. Identify a need and fill it. Center is a need and why not get the best one in the draft.

You would need major road work not just in thye bstreets surrounding Niagara Falls but another Grand Island bridge would be needed. If you were to travel from Niagara Falls to Buffalo via Grand Island traffic is slow now during rush hour. I could not imagine 70,000 people leaving a game at 4pm and trying to go through the island. Forget it- never happen. Downtown Buffalo is a much better idea. Why not use some of the steel from the casino that was started and not finished downtown?

If anyone is interested a couple Bills players will be at Delacy Ford tonight from 6-7. It is our annual Toy Drive to help kids at Childrens Hospital. Bring an unwrapped toy tonight and get an autograph when you are here. Some Sabres alumni will be here too.

Exactly. The Bills players usually get the stadium around 8 or 9 am for the game so that gave him what maybe 4 hours sleep. How do you go out and perform against the best players in the world with 4 hours sleep?

As a head coach he shows no passion on the sidelines. His expression never changes. Maybe if you have a team of veterans that have made numerous playoff runs that would be ok but a young team needs to see that their coach is in the game and gets angry at mistakes. Jauron will not be resigned as head coach. His contract is up and the extension that was rumored has not been made public by the Bills. He is done and rightfully so. He may have the brains to be a head coach and be very good at practice preperation but on game day he stinks and that when it counts.

I love ND but I will be the first to admit that Weiss is not the greatest head coach. But then again Dick showed last night he is horrible so anything would be an upgrade.

The Bills acted like the ball was on the 10 yeard line and it would be an automatic fieldgoal. Someone should have told Dick they were only to the 30 and against the wind!
