  3. "Push" to sign Duke Preston? LOL! He'll be available if Buffalo wants him...whenever that may be.
  4. Much appreciated Detective Big Cat. Sa da tay.
  5. For me...none. If it was a 15 year old boy i'd still feel the same way. That cop has issues.
  6. That sounds like the biggest load of sh-t i've heard in a while.
  7. He'll sign with Miami by tonight I bet.
  8. I tried searching but didn't find anything...I know it was posted some months back.
  9. He should face criminal charges. Maybe she was a mouthy B word, but that doesn't justify that beat down. What a f-ckin p-ssy.
  10. I don't think he lands a job with another NFL club this season...maybe never again. Take your time JP, take your time.
  11. I had no problem with what he said either, he spoke his mind, which also happens to be the truth. I knew he'd never come to Buffalo but it just kinda sucks. Oh well we still have ML and HJ...we didn't really need Taylor.
  12. Plus Coles isn't a p-ssy and will go over the middle with no alligator arms. I won't hold my breath though.
  13. I had a feeling it would go this way. Posted by ESPN.com's Tim Graham The Buffalo Bills didn't stand a chance. There was no way Fred Taylor could resist the New England Patriots. After visiting with both teams, Taylor chose to join the Patriots because, well, they're the Patriots and the Bills aren't. "The visit in Buffalo went real well, but the Patriots just felt like the place to be," Taylor said Friday night on a conference call from his home in South Florida. "After talking to Coach Belichick and looking at everything, the caliber of players they have, pretty much it was a no-brainer. Who wouldn't want to play there in New England?" Taylor then rattled off a list of people he'll huddle with. Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Laurence Maroney ... He praised the Patriots defense because "they get you the ball back." "When you weigh all those options, to me, it's a no-brainer," Taylor said. "They got the deal done quick. They said they would. That's why they're a first-class organization that knows how to win. That's why it was easy to choose." Taylor also called Buffalo a "first-class organization," but obviously a few seats behind the front row. New England has an impressive track record of bringing in older backs and receiving quality mileage. They've done well with Corey Dillon, Antowain Smith and Sammy Morris. Taylor, who turned 33 in January, has rushed for 11,271 yards and 62 touchdowns. He had one of his least-productive seasons last year with 556 yards and one touchdown. He joins a backfield that already has Maroney, Morris, Kevin Faulk and Benjarvus Green-Ellis. Taylor, who split carries with Maurice Jones-Drew in Jacksonville, said he's used to sharing. "I fit in well with all of my teammates, college, high school and in the NFL for 11 years in Jacksonville," Taylor said. "My mom had five kids, and I'm the oldest. So I had to learn how to share with my siblings just like the guys I've played with. We always work well, no matter what. It'll be the same way in New England." Taylor claimed the Patriots didn't discuss any envisioned roles with him. "No one has said anything," Taylor said. "What I can tell you is I anticipate just coming in and competing. I'll try to make the guys at my position better. They'll try to make me better. I'll bring a positive energy in and do whatever I can to help the team win." 14. I share that same opinion. I'd really like to see him added to the team.
  15. A look at Buffalo's four Friday visitors February 27, 2009 12:27 PM Posted by ESPN.com's Tim Graham The Buffalo Bills have announced they will meet with receiver Laveranues Coles and three other free agents Friday. Also on the agenda are Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, Carolina Panthers center/guard Geoff Hangartner and Pittsburgh Steelers guard Kendall Simmons. But Coles is the marquee name. Although the Bills have suggested they wouldn't go after any high-priced free agents, there's a belief they became excited enough with the idea Fred Taylor would join their backfield that they might reach on Coles to add a little star power. The Bills need to generate excitement among their fans, who perked up when Taylor came to Orchard Park this week for a visit. Fans certainly would be energized by a Coles signing. He's a bigger name, and the Bills need a No. 2 possession receiver to help open up the offense for Lee Evans. Fitzpatrick would be the backup to Trent Edwards and wouldn't compete for the starting job, but he'll need to be able to play given Edwards' track record of injuries. Fitzpatrick started 12 games for the Bengals last year when Carson Palmer got hurt. Fitzpatrick completed 59.4 percent of his passes for 1,905 yards and eight touchdowns with nine interceptions. Hangartner likely would be Buffalo's center. He started four games at center, two games at left guard and two games at right guard for Carolina last year. He started 15 games at center in 2006, one season after Carolina drafted him in the fifth round out of Texas A&M. Simmons, a seventh-year pro, started the first four games at right guard last season before suffering an Achilles injury and landing on injured reserve. He was drafted 30th overall out of Auburn in 2002 and became a fixture on the Steelers line, starting 76 regular-season games in the five seasons he played and winning a Super Bowl. He missed 2004 because of a knee injury suffered in training camp.
  16. I never heard that either, and after purging Royal and Dockery you'd think that would be the opposite scenario.
