JP Losman Ran For An 82 Yard TD
smokinandjokin replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who's winning arguments? Who's arguing? I thought we were just giving opinions here, like you said. Somebody is getting all worked up... What happens if JP's footwork is great Friday and he's humming the ball and putting it right on target? Can you please promise to find something else to tell us why he sucks? Maybe you'll receive some new video. It's not funny to joke about NASA when there's 7 people and a Shuttle that still have to make a safe return. Those clowns are just trying to make sure everyone lives. -

I think J.P. is going to stick it right in that clown's mouth you have there. -
I guess they'll play in whatever format the coaches agree to. I haven't been to the Bills-Browns scrimmage in Erie,PA in a few years, but I remember they played a couple of regular quarters, and then some situational stuff, like goalline and two-minute drill. They let the kickers pound some fieldgoals also. Props to the NFL Network for televising this.

This dude is all mad. You sure you weren't watching a tape of an old Bills game? You see #7 hopping around and throwing the ball and you assume it's JP. You and your "buddy" gotta get current. Maybe if you came up for air every once in a while you would've recognized it was Flutieman. -

After I posted I read that you said it was a friend's home video from camp. I was just assuming it was on the web somewhere, and that it would be worth the effort to see it. Obviously that will be difficult, unless we hit up your friend for some dinner tonight and check out the tape. Anyways, I think JP will be adequate, and even above-average for a first year starter, and I'm sticking with 9-7 as the record. If nothing else, he seems to have a confidence and desire to win that none of the caretakers since Jimbo have had. -

I've got it! We can just get JP some Levitra- it helped that guy in the commercial step and throw through the tire in his backyard. Our problems are solved! -

If this video existed I think it would be worth the effort to see it, since it obviously spells out what a disaster JP is and the impending doom of a franchise. I honestly have seen him making predominantly strong throws with solid mechanics. If the CIA releases this other training camp footage, please let me know where I can check it out. In the meantime, I suggest you try contacting the Bills brass and tell them you are available for the QB coach position, as you certainly can help JP with his footwork more than Wyche and Mularkey. Until then, I will be hanging out with my schoolgirl crush. You can sit around being all mad about it. -

Ok bro. I think you've got it stuck in your mind that JP throws that way, and you choose not to see/remember his other throws. But we shall see soon enough. And I don't understand "throwing off his front foot." I thought throwing off your back foot was what gets qb's in trouble. If you step into a throw, wouldn't you be throwing off your front foot? Not being a prick, just trying to understand what you're saying there. Before he broke his leg, I thought he looked very good in preseason games last year. Both throwing and passing. But obviously the N.E. pick and the three passes you've seen him throw in practice have pulled the woll over your eyes. I'm not blindly predicting the savior, but I have seen enough to be optimistic. -

I get excited about the 30 throws that he fires downfield on a rope- I don't get nervous about him jumping and throwing once. You're the jerkoff who's going to cry when JP escapes the rush and runs for 40 yards, saying he shouldn't be running. Who should be the quarterback, if not JP? Bledsoe, or someone in the '04 or '05 draft? Maybe Jay Fiedler, he was a free agent this year. You knocked JP, so who would you like in there? -

Crap Thrower doesn't consider college performance. He's seen a lot of practice footage. My opinion is not uninformed. I have watched a ton of video, and I probably have seen everything you have seen, (unless you have been at camp live, because I have not this year.) Dude, we just had the standard QB, tall in the pocket with a big arm. How well did that work out? I just don't understand why you can't get a little excited about this guy because you saw him jump and throw. As far as mechanics, I've seen him unleash a cannon arm. Chad Pennington has perfect mechanics and his arm is dog****. So I don't know where you are going with this. Perhaps we should just sign Payton Manning and you could cry about that. -

Nice job basing your assumptions on JP's performance against N.E. One of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Coming off a broken leg, he gets thrown into a National TV game against the champs where the Bills had about 40 yards of offense, and you say he sucks because he looked nervous and didn't lead an 80-yard touchdown drive. You've seen enough footage from last year? He threw five passes man. Get a hold of yourself. If you think a guy sucks, and you want to pick apart everything, you can find faults anywhere. Would you rather have Bledsoe, or Aaron Rodgers? I wouldn't. But without picking up JP, that's who would be starting this year. So hold your expert analysis for a few weeks instead of basing it on five passes and two practices. Your pessimism, I'm sorry to say, is not contagious. And I hope you'll be the first to say you were wrong when JP has an above-average year. -
If you have a day, take a drive over to Annapolis. Very cool town to check out.

No doubt. The workin man is a sucker. I'd quit right now but it will be over by the time I get home. -
Sort of makes you long for the days of T Henry taking the handoff and tripping over a lineman's leg. I just saw some footage of Willis during his sophomore year at UM. I forgot how electric the dude was. His runs were more his speed than just him being a bull. That year off allowed him to get even more diesel, and he was a truck last year. Now if he has that burst back, combined with his thickness, we are talking thoroughbred. Personally, I cannot wait for the opener, when he drops his first stiff arm of the year. I love when he puts those arm-tackling little CB's on their backs.

I'm surprised all of their players are allowed to leave the state. But hey, we're not talking about the Dolphins here... I do think it's a good idea for the Cowboys to install a "manage the game/limit his mistakes" type offense. Why didn't the Bills try that?
-
It is hard to speculate, but sense you asked for it... If Reich would've started SB 27, I can only presume the Bills would've won 44-20. 38- The over/under on psalms Frank would have read to the media after the game.

JP is not going to be Big Ben

That's why I singled them out instead of saying 9 nobody's. Rams and Shehawks, both 8-8, and do you know anybody who is scared of the Jets? But I do give them credit- playoff teams while the Bills were not. -

Of course, every game we are going to get kickoff returns for TD's and 3 INT per game like we did during our winning streak last year... I am confident in the '05 squad, but let's not forget they beat 6 nobody's last year and the Jets, Rams, and Shehawks (who are not exactly powerhouses). -
SIRIUS to broadcast all preseason games

That's decent. I wonder if the home kit is compatible with the handheld walkman. I have an Acura and the car came with XM, so it is not a detachable face. So obviously I wouldn't need to purchase the Roady. If the walkman worked in my house and I didn't have to hold up the antenna, I would've loved it. It was great listening to the games (even if I was listening to the Tigers). Perhaps I should just get the stereo and the Roady face like you did... -
