  1. Good point. Hell, when was the last gutsy TEAM performance we've seen? Takers? Anyone? Bueller?
  2. AMEN! Dang, those numbers just made my mouth water... That is so sad that we dream of a 15-30, 300 yard, 3TD and 2INT game....where the hell has our team fallen to???
  3. I'd love to see Peters given a shot at the LT position. But they need to make up their mind and decide what they want him to be...stick with that and let him learn it to the fullest
  4. You are correct my friend, in that EVERY single team that plays us, that either has a mediocre player,(ala Doug Gabriel, ala Lamont Jordan), a player in decline(ala Curtis Martin, ala Deion Sanders last year), they have to be sporting major hard-ons. We are famous for making bad players look great, or seemingly resurrecting their careers. Last night I was listening to the Falcons game on ESPN radio and all the friggin announcers kept talking about was Curtis Martin's 148 yard performance last week...gimme a break.
  5. Honestly, for once I wouldn't even mind 49% completion, with 275 yards passing. 70% and 153 yards is just plain crappy. I think if one of our QBs passed for 275, I'd probably burst into tears of joy...
  6. Can't say that I'm upset about it by any means..
  7. No, it's what TD thought HE was getting in GW, while at the same time getting the most important thing, a yes-man
  8. Man I have to agree with you 100 percent on one thing in particular...our team has played undisciplined football for quite some time. And i think it definitely boils down to coaching... In my opinion, this teams needs a Tom Coughlin, Bill Parcells type of disciplinarian coach. But we know that TD would never, ever allow that type of thing to happen.
  9. I'm gonna say we'll end up at 6-10. and that's being optimistic.
  10. OH MY SWEET JESUS....THIS IS THE REASON I LOVE THIS SITE!! I HAVE BEEN READING THESE POSTS AND I HAVE LAUGHED SO HARD IT HURTS!! Dammit, I think I just ruptured a kidney.... B-Dawg, I don't think anyone on here can deny your enthusiasm and your passion for the Buffalo Bills, but dude you're getting roasted on here man!!! Don't you agree, that as Bills fans, when our team puts out a performance like they did yesterday, we have a right to be pissed off? I mean come on, the Bills flat out got their asses kicked, and kicked, and kicked some more! We love our team, but when they stink up the joint like they did yesterday, people are going to voice their frustrations...that's what this place is for right??
  11. I wish I could share the same sentiments, my friend. Unfortunately, the Bills have done abso-freakin-lutely nothing to prove to me, or anyone for that matter, that they have what it takes to win next weeks Sunday night, nationally televised game, against the defending super bowl champs, who are coming off a bye, and will have had two weeks to prepare for us. I love the Bills as much as the next man, but lets be honest with ourselves. Can anyone list the last time the Bills went into a game, bigtime underdogs, and won a game that they were not picked to win? My memory is failing me...maybe i need some Ginko Biloba, I hear that works well for memory.. If we do win, please believe that I will be very happy, and even more surprised...
  12. I agree with you wholeheartedly, except, if we were to make an example out of someone, who would we replace them with? Our depth on both lines is non-existent. Week in and week out this team plays both mentally and physically soft....
  13. I do agree with you in that, I feel that the loss of Pat Williams has affected our D alot more than we anticipated it would.
  14. I agree with you on a couple points. One, I agree that the coaches need to see that Holcomb is not the answer. Two, I can't honestly say I believe JP is the future of this team either. Do I hope he is? Of course. Only time will tell. I am encouraged only by the fact that many great ones started off terrible and blossomed. But I disagree with the point that putting JP in next week against the Patriots will kill the kids psyche. No matter how badly he's performed, he's still an NFL quarterback. His job is to go week in and out against whatever team is put in front of him. Truth be told, he may not be ready to go up against the Pats, especially in a Sunday night game, against the Pats in Foxboro. But I truly believe this is the kind of valuable game experience he needs, THIS YEAR. If he goes in and stinks up the joint, then so be it. Hell our defense and offensive line has been stinkin up the joint for a while now. But if going up against the defending super bowl champs is going to kill his psyche, then he has no business being in the NFL.
  15. There's still no denying Marv was a Hall of Fame caliber coach...I'd take him in a second.
  16. I'll be the first to admit, I was one of the many who was in favor in benching Losman for Holcomb. After watching the last 3 games, I have changed my tune. The bottom line is this: What has Kelly Holcomb done to really show that he deserves to start over JP? In my opinion, the only thing he has really done in his three starts that's noteworthy is NOT LOSE GAMES. To be completely honest, IMHO, I have seen him only make one spectacular throw, and that was to Campbell last week. His numbers are very modest, and while he may be completing 70 percent of his passes, he's averaging like 160 yards per game. He absolutely cannot throw an accurate pass beyond 15 or 20 yards. In the last 3 games, how many deep balls has he thrown? maybe 4, and each one was horribly missed. From badly underthrowing Moulds, to badly overthrowing Evans and Reed. He has fumbled a snap or a handoff in each of his 3 starts, and has NO ability to run if the pocket collapses. This is not a good football team, on either side of the ball. Even if we were to make it into the playoffs, what are the chances of us beating the likes of New England, Indianapolis, Denver, Pittsburgh...slim to none. We need to let JP in there and get his lumps now. Many people think that we should start Holcomb in the New England game next Sunday. I think that this would be a perfect time to get JP in there. Let him get that game experience playing in the national spotlight. Yes, throw him to the wolves, he's going to have to do it eventually, why not let him get a taste now? Every game he sits is one more game next year he'll still need for development. This team is going nowhere in the state we're in. Lets let the kid become a man.
  17. It would definitely be a pick-me-upper, but this team has so many issues to address, a victory(unlikely) Sunday wouldn't erase all the problems and holes we have. But I'd sure enjoy it...
  18. I agree to a certain extent. I don't believe he's earned the right yet to proclaim himself the best back in the league. I also don't think it was a smart move to stir up the Raiders by saying they need to worry about what you're going to do to them. That's just plain silly in my opinion. I do feel that you have to have a certain level of confidence though...
  19. I too was one of the many in favor of benching Losman for Holcomb. Those who stated that the play of our offensive line and our sieve-like defense is the real culprit, you have hit the nail squarely on the head. But the bottom line is, what has Kelly Holcomb done to really show that he deserves to start over JP? 20. I'm just befuddled here. I don't understand why we can't seem to complete a pass for over 10 yards, let alone 15. Is it Kelly Holcomb and his weak arm, always checking down to a short route? Is it Tom Clements and his predictive play calling? Is it the offensive line's inability to pass-block? Is it Mike Mularkey's refusal to grab the reins from TC? Is it our receivers? Someone please shed some light for me... I tried to create a poll but think I must've done something wrong..
