I am sure there is more to this than just a mosque, but the article is short on details. I think the cases of denying people the ability to build religious buildings, should be the exception, not the rule. Places of worship much be free, but ask yourself this honestly:
If a bunch of Canadians barged into your town and wanted to "erect" a shrine of Celine Dion because they worship her, would you stand there and let it happen? Two words: property value.
