You're living in upstate NY and you are angry at many people that are looting that have a good chance of dying. Why be angry? That people are doing some unsavory things is sad, but why so angry? The entire city is destroyed.

I don't think there should be political tests for people dying. Life is sacred, so I believe. (or racial one's)

Usually the swiss offer dog teams to sniff out survivors in rubble. I am sure there will be offers, but the problem is not resources the problem will be access. The US has millions of gallons of water, but when there is no highway in, that doesn't do you a hell of a lot of good. We don't need aid, we need a sensible plan for hundreds of thousands of homeless people.

It will be nice to die of dyptheria or dehydration with your new Air Jordan's on. Those people are already f***ed. I wouldn't be surprised if you had a death toll in one month in the thousands.

Is breaking into a store to get food and water looting? If so, if I was stuck there you bet I would be looting for bottled water, non-perishable food, batteries, floatation devices, etc.

Here is a disturbing thought. I know someone that is retired from New York State and he says that during emergencies they were trained to never release a high death toll or estimation early as it does not make people evacuate but return to look for friends and family. He speculates that the death toll is probably ten times greater than early estimates. I hope he is wrong, but I suspect he knows something about this.

They had a pretty good business model too. They brainwashed college aged kids and had many of them assembling computers 16 hours a day. They would then sell these things at very good discounts, but there was no labor overhead. You could buy these things in every major city in Japan.
