Places close to the ralph to eat before the game
loyal2dagame replied to Drew026's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
realistically, if you get to orchard park a few hours before the game, you'll have a hard time finding anything right around the stadium. you could try duffs or bsg(buffalo sports garden). they are about 5-10 minutes from the stadium depending on traffic and shouldn't be as crammed as big tree or danny's -
TBD Takes Over The Buffalo Bills
loyal2dagame replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
can you sign me as 3rd string qb? i'd love to make 6 figures for holding a clipboard and only having to practice..... -
Should the Bills Should Cut a Veteran?
loyal2dagame replied to Billsfanfourlife's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah, cutting losman, a guy that did not have a hand in the 3 game losing streak sends the right message. cut someone on the o-line...... fowler AND preston? fowler is gone after this year anyway, and duke is just as big a waste. now that would shake up the team and send a message. and signing almost any center available would get the bills about the level of play we've seen all year, garbage. -
based on your math, we would be 11-5 i like the thinking, but the reality is this team has done this to us before(set us up for a huge let down), more than once in the last bunch of years.......if we lose only 2 out of the next 7 we are done....... and THAT would put us at 10-6

The Bills are conservative. It's why they lose.
loyal2dagame replied to kota's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the bills lose because the team is full of overrated & underperforming players- and that applies to EVERYONE on the team. -
Open the Dome for the Miami Game
loyal2dagame replied to Coach55's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it would be sweet to have the dome open, but our team has shown it can not play in the sun or snow for that matter. and if only a petition started in the usa could be used against canadian interests, that would be great -

I know Our Line Is Not Great
loyal2dagame replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
are you serious? the bills have not been able to run due to p!ss poor blocking and the line being stacked. well if the other team wants to play up on the line, make them pay for it. madden has nothing to do with it. it's called finding a way to use your players, or at least get them involved to throw off the opposing d -

announcers- got to be gorilla and heenan wrestlers- mr perfect, shawn michaels(early singles time w/ sherri), macho man(while intercontinental champ mid or late 80's), the origional 4 horsemen manager- has to be heenan. the neckbrace for 5 years was great. -
I know Our Line Is Not Great
loyal2dagame replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what gets me is why the bills are not going with jackson and lynch in the backfield with 2 tight ends in to block. te could then run play action with either of the backs and have max protection with the line and tight ends. you then hit the back that was not the play action back in the flat and let him take off. both lynch and jackson have shown to be very good at running after the catch. -
Brandon Marshall "near incident"
loyal2dagame replied to Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
rather than dwelling on marshall's attempted "celebration", i think stokley should be getting the attention for being heads up and keeping his team from getting a potential 15yrd penalty on a kick off when the game is up for grabs. if only every player had his head straight and played team first, and be aware of that concept, like stokely, i think the competition in the nfl would be even better -
a great man by the name of ric flair coined the phrase "to be the man, whooo, you got to beat the man" i think that applies to most people's thinking when it comes to the pats*

from wiki: "Hall was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons with 8th overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft. He finished his first season with 35 tackles and two interceptions. One of Hall's finest moments came when he was assigned to one of the NFL's premier wide receivers, Terrell Owens of the Philadelphia Eagles, on Monday Night Football. Although Owens gained 112 receiving yards, Hall was able to stop Owens on many of the Eagles' third down attempts, and his tight coverage of Owens on the last Eagle possession of the game helped Atlanta clinch a 14-10 victory on September 12, 2005. Hall allowed 3 catches on 9 pass attempts towards Owens when playing man-to-man." that is shutting someone down when it counts.

when did this game take place? the last time to and hall played against each other was in 06 i believe and to was held to 5 catches for 69 yards
-
i dont want him on the bills either after the problems with the management and coach in atlanta, but attitude aside the guy is good. furthermore, there may be only 1 or 2 db's that could have sustained their high level of play without a pass rush..... 1 is deion sanders i'm hard pressed to think of another
