I assure you that a lot of players don't care about the past beyond the Sean Taylor thing. It's a simple question. If you were in his position, say it's McKelvin, and you came home after a bigtime play that led to to the loss of the game would you feel completely sure it was a one time prank? Plaxico Burress was shot in the leg by a moron.
(I know he shot himself. That's the joke.)
nice hide on that one!

Maybin's arms look like two rubber bands. Has a chest the size of a sparrow for a DE. Appeared to get thrown around like a rag doll for 90% of the game.
At this time, no way is he a true defensive end.
His future is as a speed rusher/coverage linebacker or he needs to put on some serious body mass.
if he eats some of the good wny foods, he'll have no problem adding some serious body mass.

Never called a win, but here's what I said. Listen, there's a reason the spread held at 10.5; Vegas was daring you to bet on the Pats.
thats why i'll never bet a game that has a half point in the spread, let alone a game the bills are playing in.

pretty funny, but they could have picked a better color combo for the web page background. my eyes are burning!

confused? need to get away?

Margherita brand stick pepperoni
it needs to be room temp when you dress the pizza and the oven needs to be HOT 450-500 degrees to get it to cup up

don't kill me if the link doesn't work - you can type it in
you could switch the oven to broil (if cooking in a regular oven) for the last minute or so and that will cause cupping without all the hassel. i do it all the time when i make a homemade pizza sub. i like my peps cupped and the jalapenos crisped.

could it be that this last loss to the pats* has completed the bad karma circle? things may actually start to go our way? that would be nuts!

If Maybin is half as productive as Schobel has been in his career it will have been a very good pick for one.
Two, Schobel was great last night.
Three, DE's almost always go AROUND the tackle, so why you people complain about schobel doing it is beyond me. DE's are smaller and not as strong typically to bull rush a 300lb+ lineman. They use quickness and most often go around the outside becuase it gives them the cleaner route to the QB and keeps them one on one with the tackle. If its there, they will spin inside and Schobel spins inside too...
I swear, its hilarious (especially after last nights game) seeing all the negativity about one of the better DE's in the NFL.
i'm not saying anything about schobel's play yesterday. i just think that it would be better for the bills to have de's with different pass rush styles on each side rather than having both run 5 yards past the qb and try to get back on just about every play
-
i think maybin played a decent game, but i was a little saddened by the fact he was pass rushing identicle to schobel. run past the qb and try to get back before the ball is gone.

When Jackson scored my 12 year old son who weighs about 120lbs jumped into my arms and I carried
him around the living room hootin and hollerin like we just won the Superbowl!! Looking back at it now I can't help
but smile...I shoulda known the Bills would break my heart again....
at least you got to share the moment....err both of them

i don't need facts because i am biased. i am a fan of lynch and do not want him traded.
at least you are honest

I created this new silent but extensive dance last night in celebration of that TD, which prompted my wife to tell me to, "please stop doing that."
But then I sat down and reflected, and thought, "I bet they lose this game 27-24."
did you take the time to create a silent dance of dismay?
-
I damn near ran through a wall. Literally. And this morning my wife asked what the hell I was hollering about as apparently I woke her up from 2500+ sqft and a half a floor away.
my wife came into the living room right away. i think she thought i was beating one of the kids

Actually I thought she was kinda rude to keep badgering him when he told her more than once that he was just going in.
as far as being rude, espn makes brady millions every year with all the jock riding they do, so HE should have stopped and talked if even for 5 seconds
-
What was that all about? He's too cool for his fans now that he's Mr. Bundchen?
that's not it at all.
being mr bundchen does not allow him to talk to other women.............ever..........

Nice.
CNN had a video a month or two ago where they were watching a couple of guys setting up an IED. Eventually the helicopter pilots were given the all-clear to fire. They shot out a Hellfire missile and incinerated everything in the area. It was nuts.
saw that one as well......pretty funny stuff

I think that's precisely why it would be near impossible to get "value" for Lynch (i.e., a running back selected in the first round of the draft). Other teams don't see the need to give up anything of "value" for a running back, since they can get one "on the cheap" from that same warehouse you speak of.
GO BILLS!
sure the warehouse back could probably run, but how many of them can carry 5 people on their back into the endzone?

Don't know why, but I found it weird that Scott kept the ball after his pseudo-INT on the 2pt conversion attempt
kinda like willie mays hayes nailing up every batting glove for every stolen base he had.
scott may have kept it because you're only a play away from being done in the nfl. it's always good to have that 1 memory to share with kids/grandkids

No, they weren't. Moss had man-over coverage ONLY to prevent anything deep, as did Galloway. Of the 24 catches between them, how many were caught IN FRONT of the zone coverage underneath? Yeah, thought so.
24 catches for Moss/Welker and they weren't the difference in the game.
GO BILLS!!!
+1

I think the NCAA has such a rule. Baffling...
funny thing....ncaa can get their gameplay/rule format perfect, but the post season format sucks.
in the nfl its the direct opposite...... very baffeling
-
why cant a defense that forces a turn over in a two point conversion return it for two points? that could have made a difference in the game.
because its not in the rules
i'd like to see it though

If the roles were reversed and the Pats fumbled the ball, would the Bills have come back to win the game?
In my opinion, no. Good teams find a way to win big close games, bad teams find a way to lose them. The Bills are a bad team as a result of poor coaching and an amateur front office.
Losing that game was inevitable, and we will continue to lose these games (as we have for the last several years) until the front office and coaching is improved.
7 straight division game losses.
so by this train of thought, the giants were a better team than buffalo in the 90 superbowl, levy sucked as a coach and polian was inept?
-
OK. Yes. Of we could get a trade like Dallas did for Walker, I'd do it. Heck, I'd trade any 2 of our players for that. But, let's be a little realistic. We're not going to get all that for Lynch. I'd have to see what's on the table, but I find it hard to believe we could get enough value (plus ou'd have to convince me we're not going to select another CB with the draft pick).
Let's also bring ourselves back down to earth a bit. Yes, Jackson looked great last night. He was running those screens and I had visions of Thurmal out there. It truly was great running. But... he only had 15 carries for 57 yards. We need more running yardage than that. And that's what the 2 back combo of Lynch and Jackson gives us. We have 2 solid running backs, I really don't see any need to weaken that spot just so we can potentially improve somewhere else.
i was just using dallas as the example. i know we wouldnt take a team's entire draft for lynch, but sometimes you have to make the hard decision or unpopular decision to get better or to get to where you want/need to be.
-
a talent poor team needs to make bold moves to improve their talent. It has been proven time and again that RB is the easiest position on the field to replace. People get pulled out of warehouses to rush for 1000 yards.
look what dallas did to become the 90's dynasty. traded away their best player and sucked for 3 years, but the end was worth the means
