  1. He mentioned one person he interviewed had a serious circulation problem and needed to see a specialist asap. The wait time was 1 year and that person ended up losing both legs. He also metioned a relative that had to wait too long to see an eye specialist and ended up losing vision in one eye.

did the report state how long the people waited before attempting to make first contact for care?

was the guy with the poor circulation not feeling well for weeks or months before seeking out care?

they always seem to leave that part out to get their point across in these subjective reports

  2. Anyone here been to a hospital in Canada? I have, many times and have never waited more than 3 hours and some times you get right in. I have a family doctor and if I didn't, there are free clinics all over town that I could go to. If you go to the ER with an earache (and many do) yes you will wait for hours and hours because they see people in order of need. A couple of years ago I needed an MRI and a CT scan....guess what, 3 days later I was in. Huh? Now, I live in a small city with 56,000 people and up to date facilities, but I kinda like it.

i was just about to post something like this but came across this post.

i have alot of family on my wife's side that live in canada, and i've NEVER heard any of the 30 or so uncles, aunts, & cousins, ect complain about canadian health services. and some of those aunt's are from the states, and some of the uncles are from italy, so there is a huge reference for how other countries' health care works.

  3. Are you serious?

So I guess Robert Mathis is better than Dwight Freeney, because he had more sacks for the Colts last year.

I guess Jyles Tucker is better than Shawne Merriman because he had more sacks for the Chargers last year.

I could make the same for any position on any team. You are basing the "best" player off statistics, which as stated above, obviously is a flawed method.

no, i'm asking YOU how you can devise what player has the best skill set?

owens has truely played for better teams than anyone that played for the recent bills teams. so because owens was around better talent he has a better skill set? i'm just wondering what you are using to measure any player's skill set?

edit: jyles tucker has never been busted for roids, so yes he is better when it comes to NATURAL ABILITY

  4. WHY THE BILLS SUCK

see coaches and management about that.

when is the last time we drafted a player that turned out to be a superstar?

when was the last time we had a coach take this team to 3 wins better than .500?

when this team finds answers to these year after year questions, the bills will no longer suck

  5. IMO, best player has to do with skill set. Regardless of how much he produces, he is better than anyone else. Lee Evans, too. Same goes for the DE that gets double teamed on passing downs because he's so good, but therefore doesn't show up on the stat sheet.

We all know TO's capabilities, and IMO, he's by far the best player we've got.

    your arguement doesnt work.

chad johnson has the best skill set as a receiver for the bungles, and he was not even close to their best receiver last year

so are you measuring the players on past production or future potential?

either way you are saying regardless of what the player produces he is better than anyone else.

    how can you prove it?

  6. Freddie is a 2nd / 3rd string RB on a team that hasn't seen the playoffs in 9 years. T.O. comes to the team as the top TD receiver in the NFL over the last 3 seasons, so Freddie needs to STFU.

Listening to a top NFL player when you have proven nothing on your own may give you a better chance of doing something.

    wow, thats heavy ogre,

the fact of the matter is T.O is a great player. fred jackson is an up and comming player. everyone gets that.

the point of jackson's comments, imo, is that if T.O. starts to call out not the TEAM, but specific players in the MEDIA, aka how the stuff went down with romo, whitten and the coaches in dallas, someone will have to tell T.O. to shut his mouth.

everyone seems to forget that this guy (T.O.) is for all intents and purposes, a leased car that will be gone after 1 yr.

so while i've always liked T.O. and all his antics, i completely agree with jackson, because when T.O is gone after this season, we will still be left with alot of players that are currently on the TEAM that will need to get along next year.

in closing, i have no problem with T.O. using his ways to install a winning attitude and work ethic with our current bunch of underachievers. the coaching staff has proved that they cant. but T.O. no matter how great he is, can not cross the line to cause infighting on the team.

REMEMBER, T.O. HAS NEVER WON A SUPERBOWL AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL.

  7. Does that deduct off your taxable income or is it straight up $8k refund plus/minus whatever else the refund/owed?

It's $8k cash. If your return was supposed to be $1k, you'll get $9k. It's utterly crazy.

it is a tax dedcution that is fully refundable. if you paid $9000 in taxes, your bill will be reduced to $1000. if you paid no taxes or overpaid, you get the entire amount back( 0%tax liability). how it works depends on how and when you file, meaning amended return this year you could get a check, or wait until next year to claim it you could just get a credit on what you owe.

remember it is limited to 10% of the purchase price of the home or $8000. which ever is less. buy a $65000 house and you only get up to $6500. buy a home that is $80000 or more, you'd be getting up to $8000.

  9. The major high speed players are TimeWarner and Verizon. The best value for both is bundles: TV, Phone and Internet.

Verizon's newest offering is FiOS (Fiber Optic Service) which I think is available in Kenmore. It also has the less expensive DSL for @$18/month.

IF YOU WORK IT RIGHT THROUGH VERIZON(TALK DIRECTLY TO RETENTION DEPT IF YOUR MOTHER HAS VERIZON FOR PHONE), YOU CAN GET THEIR DSL FOR 14.99/MONTH

  10. In my opinion, McMahon and the WWE were in the right from a business stand point, however, there were things which could have been done to resolve this without all of Vinny Mac's bluster and BS. The WWE was in Loveland (up the road a half hour) Sunday night and here in the Springs Tuesday night. It's not like RAW has never been taped and broadcast the next night. They could have flip-flopped ANY of the three dates.

its not as easy as just flip flopping dates.

the world arena incolorado holds approx 8500 people for wrestling

the pepsi center holds at least 19039.

wwe always has lower numbers of tickets sold for house shows (non raw or smackdown tapings) and this is WHY they book smaller venus for these shows. so wwe would have lost a sh!tload of money by flip flopping dates.

also, the wrestlers have to pay for their own travel. how is it fair to them to have to pay cancellation fees on tickets into denver, canc fees on rental cars, canc fees on hotels, ect due to nuggets ownership's lack of foresight and the fact that nuggets ownership did not inform the nba that the building was already booked.

the nba and nuggets ownership screwed up big time.
