  1. Thanks Motown, And I take the ribbing in stride. I work 50 hours a week have a family and get paid good money. The only game I play is Madden a few hours a week when I'm lucky. This was on All-Madden, but the guy I was playing against kept blitzing. The post was made early in the morning for some pregame humor, aimed mostly at the age group who may have played videogames in the nineties as I did. I have been here on the wall since 98, despite joining in 05, and I love all u guys. Obviously some people cared enough to post that they didn't care, so JoeinCali, I disagree. I understand the negativity from people who are of a different generation and who don't care about video games. But I do think that this general negativity is what sent Tim and Lori packing. I also post at BB.com with a diff sn and am well respected there.... Well about as repspected as everyone else. So I digress, have a beer on me, forget this post and Lets Kill the phukin Pats Next Week! We Go! Buffalo!
  2. In my video game life I have saved the earth and univers multiple times, I have traveled to distant planets, battled evil wizards for pieces of a triforce, learned how to play and what an ocarina is, taken on giagantic mutant turtles named Bowser, and have even managed to get Chun Li to open her legs for me, by holding down for three seconds and then pushing up with a kick button..... But I have NEVER played a more unrealistic game in my life than Madden 2011... Bills 89 Saints 56 Stat Line: Passing: Trent Edwards 33/40 670yds 82% 16.7 avg. 11td 1 int QB Rating 147.9 Receiving: CJ Spiller 18rec 358yds 19.8 avg. 8td L.Evans 6 rec 128yds 21.3 avg. 3td S. 3. Aloha, hahaha. alright so I'm a bills fan born and raised on Oahu. There are no real bills backers bars over here, but a few bars that do show all the games. What dates are you going to be here? I started a new job that has me working some sundays, but if not I would love to meet up with you, buy you and your bride a beer and eat greasy food. Other option is my friends house who just ordered direct tv. hes a raiders fan, so I watch the early east coast games, and he watches those lame west coast teams. cough, cough. Let me know and congrats on the marriage!
  4. Thanks for the info billzfans. If you all fly over I would love to have a big party. Skoob my house is a two house on 1 acre lot. both five bedroom houses. However we probably would watch the game in one room of one house. Or if we have enough people, have a backyard barbecue every sunday and I could bring the tv and satellite cables downstairs to the patio. -I might check out the mililani shack even though I live in town. A small price to pay to see other bills fans. -Anyone else intrested in hosting the nflticket who already has directv? If you get two of us willing to drop $10 every week you pay for your ticket for free! -Keep um coming guys. We may be able to get a HI network going as well. How sweet would that be if there were a bills backers here on Oahu! Anytime Bills Fans come to Hawaii they could have a place to party, stay and watch games. I know I'm always willing to host and help out. qrtrnose
  5. Fellow Billls Fans, Despite having a few posts, I have been following TBD since 2000 and have been a bills fan since 1987. I am only posting this here one time because I know it belongs in the backers section, but I don't know what to do. I live in Hawaii and ordered nflticket last year. It was great to watch every bills game uninterrupted. This year I may or may not move during football season, and I was looking for any other bills fans in Hawaii (I've seen a few of you before). 1.I know the selection of bars is limited but if there is a bar where some of you get together I'd love to join in. 2.OR if there are any bills fans ordering nflticket, I would gladly show up every sunday with either food/beer and $10. Thats $180 dollars off your nflticket package and a bunch of beer and food. 3.I would be willing to hold it at my house (Even if I move the house belongs to my family). However we would have to cancel the package after season and the resulting cancellation is about 420 dollars (Regular cancellation charge and a 20xmonth charge for the remaining months of a two year contract). If I could get the 420 covered, I would foot the bill for the ticket myself. Last year I split this package with a raiders fan and by week 5 they had given up on the season and their team. Therefore I ended up spending about $800 on nflticket. A steep bit more than I had originally intended. My needs:A place to watch bills games and preferably with knowledgable bills fans If you or anyone you know can help.....That would be unbillevable. GO BILLS!
  6. I agree on Nate Ilaoa, he would be a great pickup for us
  7. Yes they are some guy, but when you find the final ratings for the upcoming game you will find that they reflect this site 99%, The "guy who does these updates them pretty regularly, and the site is run by sports xchange, the same analysts that madden games have based there ratings on. So they may not be the ratings to be found on aug 22, but it will give you a good gage of where the ratings are headed as of last month which was the last time these were updated.

  9. Jees, a loss is a loss. The Bills lost that weekend. So did the Jets. Live with it.
  10. yo, im in oregon as well. theres a bills backers club here in portland, and im going to start going this year. glad to hear therre are otehrs as well
  11. Mcgee Scoe Lionel Gates Shaud Williams 2nd string lbs. What I learned most the past week, is our depth at almost every position is solid.
  12. I agree with the above mentioned statement. Hines Ward is my favorite player in the whole league due to his character, human flaws, gritty determihnation, bust most of all his passion for the game. He loves the game so much, he's not afraid to let his true feelings out, and can empathize even with the losing teams. Instead of gloating after the playoff win over the jets, he instead empathized with doug brien, and acknowledged how hard it would be to be in his situation. He truly cares about others, and the game more than his own well being
  13. None of these other athletes accolades has come close thus far. Why are all the athletes mentiones american?
  14. Alexander Karelin dominated the world of wrestling for over a decade without losing a single match until the sydney olypmics. 3 gold medals and 1 silver,13 national championships in the best wrestling nation of the world, 12 european championships, 12 world championships, forced wrestlers to forfeit their matches to him out of fear, including the most decorated wrestler in american history, was not beaten in 17 years of wrestling until sydney olympics 2000, when rulon gardner won because karelins hands couldnt fit around rulon's body.
  15. Michelle goes to my old high school. She's only 15, and if you think shes hot, you should see the rest of the girls at my school. They're fabulous.
  16. Doug Brien has shown signs of consistency in all aspects. He is quite proficient at varioius lengths, but unfortunately is most consistent with missing clutch game winning kicks. Remember Buffalo vs Minnesota a few years back? He went to minnesota after blowing 5 potential game winning field goals for San Fransisco. Then he was cut midseason by minnesota. he performed once again consistently for the jets until he missed two field goals in the waning moments against the steelers in the playoffs this year. i guess it comes down to the lesser of two evils. brien cant make clutch kicks, lindell cant hit anything over 40. maybe we should pay brian moorman a bonus to concentrate on placekicking
  17. While humorous in intent and nature, It is a disrespectful post concerning the possible existence of another human being. He is suffering from a rare disorder and may not make it to the year 2025. I don't think people in India are making fun of our children and their misfortunes. With all due respect this thread should be done away with.
  18. Ken Simonton has recently been waived by the lions. While his numbers weren't great in his very limited carries, he was the NFLE MVP and has great upside. He is a bit short, but is as durable as a player comes. He could easily be signed at a minimum, and is worth keeping on the roster.
  19. Peerless back would be my wet dream, but I don't think its happening this season. We may not have the space next year either. BUt, yes we need another cb. Our defense's strongest assett is its ability to prevent the pass. The way the game is being played right now, we can't afford to lose a step by not conisitelnty keeping a fresh db core in the backfield. We have some studs at Linebacker, and will have for a year or two more. But we need to concentrate on the O-line most. TE we are actually fine. Knee rehab is not what it used to be. I had an acl torn, and was back in 4.5 months. It has never given me problems, and the doctors and faciliteis these athletes have access to is phenomenal. But Peerless, that would be the the biggest acquisition by any team this offseason in terms of improving a team.
  20. Chad Owens: This is my official #1 sleeper pick in the entire draft. Chad Owens is absolutely what you want on your football team. He is the hardest working player in college football. This kid walked on at Hawaii, not only made the team but made the starting team, led the team in receiving the past two seasons with over a thousand yards in each, is the heart and soul of a team whose quarterback just broke the NCAA passing record, is a serious threat returning kicks, and has sweet tattoos. 3,039 yards receiving and 39 touchdowns, 1,014 yards on punt returns and 6 touchdowns, 1,354 yards on kick returns and 2 touchdowns. What more do you want? Chad Owens looks sweet, and he plays sweet. The knock on Owens is his height. He's 5'9", not real big at all for an NFL receiver. Don't let that height fool you. Chad Owens plays football like he's seven feet tall. Physical specimen, enormous heart, and enormous work ethic. This is the biggest sleeper pick in the entire draft. Hows about drafting CHad Owens who finished in the top 5 for catches/game, yards, td's and yac. He is much more polished than Reed, and is by far the quickest (not fastest) receiver in the draft. I think he is more than worth a late frist day early second day pick. He would be a playmaker, and a real 3rd option.
  21. "Timmy Chang: The first thing I did when I sawed my way out through my mother's stomach was to put on a Timmy Chang jersey. What's not to say about the guy who broke the NCAA passing record? This guy has thrown for over 17,000 yards and racked up 117 touchdowns as the quarterback of the former Rainbow Warriors. Chang has been the poster boy of Hawaii football for half a decade, and with good reason. I have personally never seen a college football player throw a ball as hard as Chang. Cannon for an arm, good footwork, and good downfield vision. " What do you guys think of this guy. he broke the all time yard record and had 117 tds in 4 years as the qb for U OF Hawaii. I think he's going to be a late second say steal. What do you think?
  22. Does anyone know how he did at the combine? Though laden with a heavy passsing system, it is because of this that he has been exposed to more pakages than most qb's have even dreamed of. I was wondering how he performed at the combine, and if he raised or lowered his stock at all. He would be a great fit for a st. louis rams, Cardinals type team. An Asian Montana
