  1. To add, this was the response by the editor on the Wikipedia page The journalist frankly doesn't understand how Wikipedia works.
  2. Erm, the moderator is right to change that back, as there is no link to what Peiser said to the reporter. According to Wikipedia's own help pages, "Wikipedia does not publish original thought: all material in Wikipedia must be attributable to a reliable, published source." Just because he contacted the author doesn't mean that he's allowed to make that change. The Wikipedia entry in question was linked to a published science blog (which linked to a University of Colorado page where the mistake was admitted). If Peiser and the other guy want to be able to make their change without having it revered, they should actually publish the damned comments to be inside Wikipedia's standards.
  3. Its also largely an attack by the Times on their competitors as well. Notice that it specifically mentions tv and radio, not newspaper. Good way to promote your business.
  4. I liked it a lot. It didn't feel that slow to me, as most of the time I was sitting there thinking about the movie during the slower points. The print was in pretty good condition - just some splotches at the beginning and end of each reel, but other than that, looked and sounded fine. The audience was decently large - about enough to leave a seat between each party that was there, so not completely full, but about 85% or so.
  5. Are you using cascade for taste or just dry hopping it?
  6. I've got a Sony Ericsson phone and love it (the w600i). I will likely be buying another SE phone when this one dies.
  7. I like these picks: #9 Cincinnati - Ellis (could end up being the best DT in the draft when it is all said and done) #18 Houston - Otah (I can't believe I got the best OT in the draft at pick #18) #12 Denver - Rivers (Great player that could easily be top 10). I think these are reaches: #23 Pittsburgh - Cherilus (how do you take him over Williams?) #5 Kansas City - McKelvin (many better players for better value available) #19 New York Giants - Phillips (could easily fall to end of first, beginning of 2nd)
  8. Naw, I didn't buy an evo (those cost like $35k), just the regular one fully loaded (paid $21,400 out the door).
  9. Ah, the Tavern, I was going to emssage you to find out where it was. I'll be there! Should be fun as hell.

  13. looking up the sound track is what made it click for me that this movie was in the realm of nietzsche
  14. Stupid should be rationed.
  15. My only real complaint about Jordy is that he'll have to make the conversion to outside from playing in the slot, and that could take a significant transition period.
  16. I don't think he'll last till #11, but stranger things have happened. In any event, while Ryan is the best QB of this class, I don't think I would take him. I think his interception issues are going to be magnified in the NFL for a while until he learns the game (which I do think will come with time), and I think its important for the Bills to get to the playoffs sooner rather than later for the sake of the franchise.
  17. Don't worry, I'm thinking about going this year, and I'll help kick his ass.
  18. dun drill ANWAR, u kill anIMAlz
  19. I would friggin love this draft if true.
  20. I paid $3.19 on Saturday here in Austin. Gotta love Texas being anti-taxes.
  21. You just have to imagine it, and then it will be real! It works for me. Whatever it is I think I see, becomes a tootsie roll to me.
  22. Also, from wikipedia: Nietzsche writes that "man is a bridge between the apes and the Supermen; a laughing stock".[7] In an article in the New York Times, Kubrick gave credence to interpretations of 2001 based on Zarathustra when he said: "Man is the missing link between primitive apes and civilised human beings. Man is really in a very unstable condition."
  23. If you can twist, the beer sucks, just like your post.
