  1. Doesn't matter for advertising revenue, eh - they base that upon ratings and the size of the market.
  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anecdotal_evidence lol, we still don't even know if Lynch was actually the driver yet. Oh, and just so I'm not also accused of defending Lynch, I also AGREE WITH DC TOM THAT IF TRUE, LYNCH SHOULD BE PUNISHED.
  3. I purposely tried to deceive who here exactly? I didn't make any bet with you.
  4. No I didn't. I said if he's at the scene of a crime, he has to be at the scene of a shooting. Otherwise, he has to be taken into custody or arrested. Thats what I was talking about. Are you talking about the same "you" there? I didn't make any bet with the guy - I just found an opportunity for entertainment by arguing with him whether he won or not, since he so emphatically believes he did, lol. Bingo.
  5. In a way, thats true, but corporate biases far outweigh the biases of each individual reporter - the people that run the company are more concerned with what is going to pull in the largest share of advertising audience than what necessarily fits in with how they perceive the world.
  6. Which is what I posted, lol.
  7. Hell, they had that before we came in.
  8. Er, thats a way too black and white view of a crime whose standard of drunk driving or not has different effects on different people.
  9. Erm, somehow I don't think you could drink till the cows come home on x. Likewise, on yayo. You'd get dehydrated wayyy too fast.
  10. Do you not understand the definition of "current" or something? Once again: Barack Obama has voted with a majority of his Democratic colleagues 96.5% of the time during the current Congress. John McCain has voted with a majority of his Republican colleagues 88.3% of the time during the current Congress.
  11. When was his race ever competitive? And yes, its pretty common to put whatever surplus you have when you drop out of a race from a Presidential campaign toward a PAC, foundation, the national committee, or whatever else. How nice of you to try to stand up for all those poor fools who donated to his campaign. Outside of a small delusional group of people, no reasonable person actually expected his campaign to win. Hell, I donated a small amount to his campaign, and I didn't expect him to win. It was more about declaring a base of support for the message than anything else. If he wants to start his "Campaign for Liberty" organization based upon the funds he raised, I have no problem with it, and I've seen no outcry from any other Ron Paul supporter either. Stop trying to disguise an attack on the man as standing up for a bunch of poor fools.
  12. To simplify it even more, there are three scenarios where he 'wins': 1.) Arrested 2.) Brought into custody 3.) At the scene of a shooting None of those occurred, therefore he doesn't.
  13. It would also prevent the Bills from expanding their market there though, which would cause a huge problem once the team is sold and has to take on a mortgage. This might in fact encourage the franchise to relocate - just not to Toronto. I'd think that Portland would be pretty attractive, outside of LA. 23rd largest media market (compared to 55th for Buffalo).
  14. Donn seems to try to take both sides there - that Lynch is playing it correctly, but he should talk anyway to make it go away. By the way, before you reply to the above poster, look at his join date and don't feed the trolls.
  15. Which means that there are only a few people on this board with a college education, lol.
  16. So what? You agreed to a very specific bet, and you haven't won. You also are in no place to "feel" anything, because you aren't 100% objective yourself, since you made the damned bet. Awesome. Now people are being judged on an internet message board by someone who doesn't know sh-- about sh--. Should be enough to make everyone realize what a joke you are.
  17. 'Cept that the revenue loss would lead the Bills to move earlier, especially once they got sold and were in a much worse position financially than currently. Do you know that they rarely get passed in Canada? I, personally, don't have a clue - but I could see some sense of "national pride" in the CFL want to prevent the NFL from moving in.
  18. Not really - its been thrown out there that they were on Chippewa street that night, which means they were out partying. I don't think that its possible to judge whether he should have or shouldn't have until the full story comes out. The Bills have been relatively quiet on the issue as well. Is it simply Marshawn's fault, the Bills' fault, or do we not have a clue yet what actually happened and why all parties have been quiet? I would think that the NFL "took notice" the second it came out. This is a league with a PR problem and tons of money, I doubt they don't read the local newspapers of all the sites. I also doubt that they were going to do anything until the police investigation was over, and judge base upon what the player did. I don't think this situation changes much of anything with the league. There are a great deal of us who are waiting to hear the full story, which, due to Lynch and everyone being quiet, is taking a lot longer to get out than in other cases.
  19. Explain two things: A.) How this is "on the Buffalo's side" B.) How the Canadian government doesn't have the authority to ban the NFL if they want
  20. Like Bill said, history tends to repeat itself. You continue to not get the point.
  21. like this thread? lawl I'm still wondering where it says that Hardy was in the car or anything else about the situation, outside that he was on Chippewa. If you're just going off the fact that he was subpoenaed, might as well assume Ralph Wilson and Russ Brandon were in the car too, although I assume that Ralph probably wouldn't know anything cause he was asleep. It could very well be that they were in the car, or that they were just out partying that night.
  22. You said at the scene of a shooting, lol. You win nothing. (You're wayyyyy to happy about a Bills player potentially being in trouble with the law, btw).
  23. You REALLY don't want to use voting records as proof of being in the middle in this campaign from the Obama camp. Barack Obama has voted with a majority of his Democratic colleagues 96.5% of the time during the current Congress. John McCain has voted with a majority of his Republican colleagues 88.3% of the time during the current Congress.
