  10. True enough. The food at Jester is ridiculously unhealthy.

  12. What plan and wounds are you talking about, exactly?
  13. How did I do that, exactly? (This should be fun...)
  14. Great, I was hoping people would avoid showing him this board.
  15. Someone plz slap him around a bit.
  16. Cept that it would only last a very short time, until one of the two big parties either swallows it up, or it replaces one of the two major parties.
  17. While it's hard to really rank them at the moment, I'd put our top 5 needs at (not necessarily in order): OLB S TE OC OG
  18. 'Cept that McCain was trying to get Paul a speaking slot at the convention, in exchange for giving up his voter lists so he could try to win them over as voters. Paul didn't exactly like that idea.
  19. While this is anecdotal evidence, it always seems (to me at least) the people fired up about the soundbites or label pins are the hardcore party supporters. I would imagine that these issues are used more to drive out your own party's vote than it is to appeal to the middle of the electorate. I recall hearing a bit ago on NPR that if you look at the people who call themselves undecided, the top issue by far right now is the economy, followed by foreign policy. I'm sure there are some people that make up their mind over stupid stuff, but I think that it is likely a pretty small number. Completely and utterly agree.
  20. Unfortunately I'm in Austin, which is a ways from the border.
  21. While I agree with the first part of your sentence, research shows it is party ID for almost everyone that determines their vote.
  22. Read those two sentences. Do you really think that people consider these things when deciding who to vote for, or is it just people trying to blow smoke and validate their side?
  23. Yeah, because he didn't give basically unlimited media access before July or so. He wasn't "pimping the book", he was avoiding answering a question he didn't have a scripted answer to right after they decided to pull his media access back some. This new line of attack from you is amusing, since McCain's given more media access through this point than any other candidate.
  24. Yes, he was completely trying to sell his books there. Yeah, all those years and years and years he gave the media complete access without teleprompters or scripted access, man, he didn't know what he was missin!
