  1. Do you come out to the Tavern with the rest of us Bills backers to watch the games?
  2. I fail to see how a concussion makes someone stronger.
  3. http://www.fdic.gov/news/news/press/2008/pr08088.html
  4. Wouldn't it be just dandy if Jermaine Gresham left early and the Bills got him?
  5. Would you rather the backups be in early, making sure the starters can play 100% at the end of games when its close, or would you rather they be bringing in the 4th best DE into the game when its late and they are trying to pull out a victory?
  6. Seeing as how number of wins isn't a tie breaker (it is, in fact, what causes the tie), I suspect you eat crayonz too. The actual tie breaker is as he described in the first post of the thread, which means the Bills are in trouble.
  7. You're providing all the substance I need. Keep it up.
  8. Kinda like how you don't have to be drafted by your team in round 1 to be a good lineman?
  9. The only reason he posts is to boost his fragile ego.
  10. Yeah, wanting fair elections is really abandoning principles, isn't it?
  11. Which is exactly why I made the thread - with how fine happy the league is over H2H hits (I've seen several which weren't called penalties in games end up fines and suspentions), I was hoping I just saw the play wrong.
  12. Damn me, hoping for fair elections! That's downright anti-democratic!
  13. Awesome. Please, keep posting. You're rather amusing.
  14. Thanks. I must have seen it incorrectly (and unfortunately, they didn't show many replays - I was watching another game during the one they showed).
  15. Perhaps I saw the play incorrectly, but I haven't seen anyone on here mention it. I thought the McKelvin play was helmet to helmet, as did the people I was watching with. If so, will he be suspended? I'd have to lose both McCorners for the Arizona game, that spells trouble.
  16. I agree, winning hurts the franchise.
  17. Tom isn't exactly fringe, butterball. Perhaps you should be asking yourself questions.
  18. Cool, as long as I can change the setting, that's all I care about! Thanks, SDS.
  19. My laptop is only 1280 across, and the new skin shortens THAT up considerably. I've used websites that center on the screen for years now, and I've never liked them. The best websites don't do it. Examples off the top of my head: http://www.slashdot.org http://forums.footballguys.com http://forums.hornfans.com http://forums.somethingawful.com (when you're logged into an account) Why not just leave the old skin as it is, so we can pick and choose? I'd hate to have to use one of the default IPB skins.
  20. Exactly why I switched back to the old one.
  21. Unfortunately for you, I haven't been "scrapping" [sic] anything, nor have I failed. Simply because you say it is, doesn't make it so. Let's compare our definition of "fair elections", then. Fair elections are ones that: A.) Have rules that are equal for all participating entities. B.) Has consistent enforcement for all participating entities. What you support violates principle B. You do realize that the two major parties have a vested interest in this, right? Did you mean to email this to yourself? It fits perfectly.
  22. I don't think the word "fair" means what you think it means. States have already set the precedent that parties (well, apparently only 3rd parties) get thrown off the ballot due to these so-called "technicalities". Since the states have decided to apply the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law to the parties, it should apply to ALL parties. Bending the rules for any party means the election, by definition, cannot be fair. No amount of caps nor words such as "clearly" in your argument can change this. To the contrary, this would be a pro-democratic decision, as it would make the established precedent apply to every entity in the group, not giving favor to one. In any event, I already answered your question about what would have happened in my previous posts. Feel free to go re-read them, if you can put your internet rage beside yourself and render a moment of clarity. And I'm not going to "acknowledge the consequences if McCain lost the election" as it simply wouldn't happen. Ballot access laws are already extremely slanted toward the two major parties, and this is a continuing trend in that direction. Damn me, trying to put myself through nonsense! As a citizen of Texas, I must hate myself!
  23. Sweet, thanks!
  24. If we beat Colorado, it will sure make the RRS fun, it could be #1 vs #5. Then, the week after, we get Mizzou at home. Talk about a tough 3 weeks!
