  1. Tennesee might take Sweed, with the Texas connection.
  2. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have freakin Willie Parker on my fantasy team, I could have traded his lame @SS!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Dallas: I hope they don't take Mendenhall, he's a beast. Actually he's very nuch like Barber. disclosure- I have Barber on my main fantasy football team.
  4. He's smarter than Jason Peters, All-Pro, Buffalo Bills Left Tackle, who scored a 9.
  5. Not to be a broken record, but you might want to look at Pro Football Weekly's final draft board. Out of their 17 highest rated players, 16 of them have been drafted in the first 17 picks. Pretty damn good.
  6. PFW's take on the pick: 11. Buffalo — CB Leodis McKelvin, Troy The Bills' secondary took a big hit when Nate Clements departed a year ago. McKelvin is extremely athletic with great feet and burst and should be able to lock down the big receivers that play in the AFC East the way he did Calvin Johnson earlier in his career. Questions about his intelligence should not be an issue in a very simple defense and when his dynamic return ability is considered, he could bring tremendous value at this spot.
  7. Pro Football Weekly has called 11 out of the first 14 picks. PFW
  8. Why? Stewart is just as good if not better. It's a matter of preference. They are both franchise backs.
  9. Pro Football Weekly is 6 for 6 in their mock so far. Not bad.
  10. Agreed. This should be fun. Lets go Buffalo!
  11. Saints still trying to land Shockey within the hour Saints | Team still trying to land Shockey Sat, 26 Apr 2008 01:49:32 -0700 Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New Orleans Saints earlier this week offered their second-round pick in the NFL Draft as well as either a sixth-round pick in 2008 or a fifth-round pick in 2009 to the New York Giants in exchange for TE Jeremy Shockey. Despite contrary reports, the deal has been on the table for quite some time and currently remains available. The Giants wanted a second-round pick as well as SS Roman Harper but the Saints were reluctant to make that move. Shockey has told several friends that he would like to join the Saints and is hoping the deal would get done prior to the draft.
  12. Actually, here is the latest mock. Mock
  13. I'm having the same problem.
  14. My prediction is only 2 of the WR's you mention will go in the first round. Devin Thomas and Limas Sweed.
  15. Here he is: I think they will take- CB Leodis McKelvin, Troy
  16. Just a note: Last year, Pro Football Weekly's Nawrocki, predicted 11 out of the top 13 picks.
  17. PFW 11. Buffalo Bills — CB Leodis McKelvin, Troy
  18. He lives to start these "offficial threads" prematurely, it gives his life meaning. In hopes of not feeding his disorder- After this post, I'm boycotting it. oh, I forgot the
  19. Link 11. Buffalo WR, CB, LB, TE Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan State Comment: The NFL's 30th-ranked passing attack needs to get bigger, stronger, tougher, more talented and more productive on the flank. Thomas is the most physical receiver in this draft, not to mention the most talented.
  20. Reasonable, yes Just some quick thoughts(just my opinion) The 10th pick is way too early for Talib, Cromartie and Jenkins will go before him. The 13th pick is way too early for Phillips,he's a very late first at best. If Dallas took a RB and Stewart was available, he'd be the choice. For that matter, I love Jonathan Stewart, and think he is a legitimate top 10 back, will last no longer than pick 20. I don't think Cason will go in the first round.
  21. His picture is below. Picture Who is he? The year he died a 40-minute memorial service was held on the Friday morning of the NFL combine, with such folks in attendance as Patriots Coach Bill Belichick (who claimed he twice tried to hire him as a scout) and Bills assistant general manager Tom Modrak (formerly of the Steelers and Eagles), Oakland owner Al Davis and then Chargers General Manager John Butler. Raise a cheer to him tomorrow all you draftkniks! (maybe it will bring the Bills good luck)
  22. Agreed. That was hilarious! I've got to add that to my reportaire. :
