  1. Can't wait to see it. Love all the universal monster movies.
  2. No. I have been twice once this year and once in 2006. Both times noticed really bad fan behavior. I was nice to see the sabres fans tailgating, and yelling "GO SABRES" with them.
  3. and on the jumbotron, Jim Kelly comes on and says"I love the canes" and the crowd goes crazy...then he says"the Miami hurricanes that is" it was pretty cool. BTW seen several games there, and boy the fans are none too gracious.
  4. You seem to have issues with it. I do not. What I was infering is that in the scope of the situation that occured, that my feelings are secondary to my daughters' and my mothers'. That is it.
  5. And I don't care about how my Mom feels towards me, but I wish she would take responsibility for her actions with my daughter. And yes it was over 2 years after my Dad had passed. I don't understand how some people can go through life without saying I'm sorry.
  6. Glad you don't run a suicide hotline. LOL. I don't think I have it rough. I just started a post to see what experiences others have had with similar situations. I hear what you are saying, and the bottom line is that this last act was an act in a long line of transgressions. You can't fix crazy.
  7. No worries. It is more complicated than I can convey. But my 37 year sister moved in with her after my dad's passing and is mooching off my 75 year old mother. I voiced my displeasure once, and let it go. She was mad at that. So why take it out on the closest thing around? My daughter is in no way super sensitive or thin-skinned. Up until this incedent, I mowed her lawn every week, took her out to dinner and made sure she had quality family time. Once the mooch moved in, it all became about her. I dont agree with it, but accepted it. If I had accepted that situation, it would of shown my daughter it is Ok for people to treat you that way.
  8. It was 2 years after my father had passed. You don't snap on kids. Period.
  9. Had the same experience when my Dad passed several years ago...Had my Mother over twice a week to spend time with our 11 year old daughter. She snapped one day and started yelling at her and my daughter call my work crying saying Nana wants nothing more to do with me. So we don't speak to her either. Can't tell my daughter to stand up for herself and continue to talk to the woman who yelled at her. Barring an apology, I don't see either one coming to a conclusion.
  10. Been married for 16 years, and have not talked to my mother-in-law for 6 of them. Was just curious how many of us are in the same boat. And the reason for not speaking to her, amongst other reasons-teaching our daughter to put out her cig butts and telling my wife "hey it's OK to lie to your husband."

  12. I am sorry, they played a good game.....they hung with a team that would of blown us out. We had a great game plan, and we need to learn to win. How many of us were hoping it was not a blow out? i am still proud to be a bills fan.
  13. Do you you still live in Fl.? Cuz that's what you sound like.....A dolefin fan.

  18. Yeah, whenever I went, I never knew who I was going to run into. Met Burt's dad several time selling me supplies. Didn't even know who it was until I saw them all together one time. This all was post Loni...after her he sold most everything in south florida. I can recall seeing the black and gold t/a haulin ass up and down jupiter farms rd.. I was like "was that the.....bandit...no, it couldn't be. Dom and Burt acted alot like they did in the movie bloopers, not as much slapping though, but funny as hell.
  19. met him several times on Reynolds ranch in Jupiter Fl. Him and Burt and Burt's dad were always hanging around the tack and feed store on the ranch. Super nice fellow. Never portrayed himself as a celeb and was down to earth. R.I.P.
