  1. I walk in shadows searching for light, Cold and alone, no comfort in sight. Hoping and praying for someone to care, Always moving and goin' nowhere. What becomes of the broken-hearted, Who had love that's now departed? I know I've got to find, Some kind of peace of mind, Help me.
  2. Thanks to the OP and others for the recommendations. This is a great time of the year to have some extra books in the house.
  3. You and me and rain on the roof, Caught up in a summer shower, Dryin' while it soaks the flowers, Maybe we'll be caught for hours, Waitin' out the sun.
  4. It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you hurt me. It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, I'm sitting all alone, by the telephone, Waiting for your call when you don't call at all It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you play with my emotions. It's a shame (sha-ame), the way you mess around with your man, You're like a child at play, on a sunny day, But you play with love and then you throw it away
  5. Correct but this kid, even when healthy, was not strong enough to play RT. He was fairly agile but again, he wasn't even close to being the best blocker on that OL. He was a huge mistake of Donte Whitner proportion (almost).
  6. She comes from a town where they call her the woodcutter's daughter. She's brown as the bank where she kneels down to gather her water. And she bears it away with the love that the river has taught her, Let it flow, greatly flow, wide and clear.
  7. Amazing post!!! Seriously. To this day I cannot understand the selection of Kouandjio. He was a good kid but he was the 4th (perhaps even 5th) best player on that OL and I posted it on this board. Not only that, he was seriously injured. For me not to want to draft a LT AND a player from Alabama is monumental, no? I do hope that he recovered from his problem. He was a really good kid in Tuscaloosa. No problems whatsoever.
  8. This happens when you trade up and use early picks for corners. Just kidding.
  9. Oh, I hear her voice as the cold winds blow, In the sweet music on my radio, Have you seen her? Tell me have you seen her? Why, oh, why Did she have to leave and go away? Oh...oh...oh...oh...oh... I've been used to havin' someone to lean on, And I'm lost, baby I'm lost.
  10. Absolutely and I am sure that there is WAY more to this story, none of it good.
  11. Welcome to your life, There's no turning back. Even while we sleep, We will find you acting on your best behavior, Turn your back on Mother Nature, Everybody wants to rule the world.
  12. I'm sorry. Over the years there have been some hilarious posts from people with serious complaints about some smoking hot women. I think the SDS even commented about it once if I recall. Looking at it your way the post actually WAS quite funny!
  13. Yeah, it depends on the individual draft. All indications point to a draft that is loaded up with talented wide receivers like perhaps none other.
  14. I can understand this response. After all, better looking women than her are beating down your door every minute of every day, right? And btw I do not defend their actions. Very stupid and very dangerous if you read the article. That said, the woman is hot.
  15. Hey love (hey love), Turn your head around (turn your head around), Take off that frown, You're in love. Wake up (wake up), Open the door (open the door), Don't cry no more, Your in love.
  16. Why, why some people break up Then turn around and make up I just can't see You'd never do that to me (would you, baby) Staying around you is all I see (Here's what I want us do) Let's, we oughta stay together ('gether) Loving you whether, whether Times are good or bad, happy or sad
  17. Like a hurricane around your heart, When earth and sky are torn apart, He comes gathering up the bits, While hoping that the puzzle fits, He leaves you. He leaves you. Freedom Rider.
  18. That would constitute an issue. Yeah, I think so too.
  19. No. It means they are miles ahead of the rancid OLs that we were forced to suffer through for 2 decades or so. My rants were repetitive but true. I can type a list of 30 or so blockers we had that were just awful. Remember when McNally was going to fix it? Please. That said, I think that teams should always try to find talented blockers. Now we have a young QB with a monster arm, one of the strongest in the league. He needs more/better targets. Jmo.
  20. I do agree but I wouldn't want to lose sight of WR being the top need. I want at least 2. An early draft pick and the right free agent would work for me.
  21. When I was just a little young boy, Papa said "Son you'll never get far. I'll tell you the reason, if you want to know, Cause child of mine, there really isn't very, far to go. Well baby baby wants a gold diamond ring, Wants it more than almost any old thing. Well when I get those jelly roll blues, Why I'd go and get, anything in this world for you.
  22. I have seen other posts like this. The problem is that you seem to assume that a wide receiver cannot possibly be the BPA at 22. In this draft I cannot understand what makes people feel this way.
  23. Happy and I'm smiling, Walk a mile to drink your water. You know I'd love to love you, And above you there's no other. We'll go walking out, While others shout of war's disaster. Oh, we won't give in, Let's go living, in the past.
  24. I couldn't stand Whaley as a GM. I still view him as having acted like an undisciplined child. That said, the above is not possible to argue and at the same time maintain credibility.
