Poll Well, the first coaches poll came out and there are some questions. Oklahoma number 5? They graduated so many people, they don't have a QB with any snaps and they are 5? Yes, I am a homer but I think OSU is way to low. They have dominating lines, both O and D. The best LBs in the country and Ted Ginn and two QBs that have experience. Should they be 1 or 2? No, but they shouldn't be that low. Also, look at some of the teams getting votes, Kansas and Duke? Who the hell are these guys?

As for this year, the Bucks are looking good for a least a Big 10 title. Iowa and UM are HUGE roadblocks. As for the Rose Bowl, Texas on Sept. 10th will be a HUGE challenge. Yes, the Ohio State fans are very confident in this years team. Yes, it is too bad that no NC ever came out of those teams. Some blame Cooper, but they just never really seemed to get the breaks they got in 2002. Sorry R. Rich, I forgot about Penn State. That game is away at night and it will be a real challenge.

US wanted suspect a month ago The guy was a UK citizen so the US had to ask for permission and the British government said no. I wonder why they didn't let the US arrest him. It will be interesting to see what the British government has to say about it.

For my English 110 class we had to do a research paper. I did mine on the Matthew Shepard case and Phelps' group protested at his funeral. They lined the streets of the processional with signs that said "Matthew is in Hell," "God Hates Fags," "He got what he deserved," and so on. When I read that my jaw dropped. It prompted me to do more research and I went to his website. Needless to say, it was pretty effed up.

I don't really consider any of the GTAs a "car" game. Sure, you do a lot in a car, but it is far from something like Grand Turismo. The game is about the mob and you have missions like drive by shootings and other things of the sort.

I was always taught in CCD that we (Catholics) don't know who is going to heaven and who is going to hell. We think we have a pretty good idea, but it isn't our place to say who is and who isn't, that right is reserved solely for God. When I was in high school there was a group of about 15 fundamentalists that started a "religion discussion" group where people of all faiths were invited to share about their religion. Well, I went to talk about Catholicism and found out the group was set up to convert as many people as they could, so they could be "saved." All this kind of stuff really bugs me, we need to stop worrying about sending people to heaven and hell, and start caring about the people around us right now.

Welcome to college football. It really is a totally different game and I think you are going to really enjoy it. I know the Cuse program has been in some trouble, but now that they have a legitimate head coach I think they will be able to get back to their old form. I'm interested to see how the new Big East will work out this year.

I honestly believe that if the Blue Jackets get Crosby, they will make the playoffs and do well. He would fit well here in Columbus too. People outside of Columbus don't give us enough credit for being hockey fans. I've heard people say we don't care and that is bunch of crap. Since the Blue Jackets first year, we have had some of the highest attendance numbers in the league and once I think we were first. Even at the all star game Rick Nash said "I went to Columbus not really expecting much, but these guys love their hockey." Anyway, with Zherdev and Nash and put Crosby on top of that it could be a great year.

Yes, Vince Young is indeed greater than myself. However, when it comes to AJ Hawk it's a little different. I know I keep talking about it, but this Texas home and home is going to be amazing. I think both games will be instant classics.

The best way to defend against the direct snap, or a Vince Young type QB who scrambles all the time is to play with one of your LBs and use him as a QB spy. If I'm not mistaken, there is a specific QB spy play in the nickel or dime package. If it's not there this year, then run a Cover 2 and use your MLB. That way, you are still defending the middle of the field and you can chase the QB RB pretty effectively. Of course, this is only my opinion so...
