  1. The Luckiest by Ben Folds is a really nice song as well. Although, I'm not sure if it would fit in this context.
  2. I know what you mean. Something that I see a lot is people will pick a team w/ a WR that has amazing speed (95 or above) and put them in a CB. Then they just run a CB blitz the entire game. Sure, it means someone is open, but when the corner is there as soon as you take your second step back it's hard to get a pass off.
  3. I would love a home and home with Tennessee. I know that Archie is trying to set up some home and homes with some SEC teams. We've invited Florida to one almost every year and they always turn it dowm. Tennessee would be great because there are a lot of OSU Alumni living in the Florida area and it would be a chance for them to see a game fairly close. The one team I almost hate as much as Michigan is Tennessee. There has always been something about them I can't stand, I dont know why. I would love to watch a game at Neyland Stadium, but my blood boils everytime I hear Rocky Top, again, not sure why.
  4. This is the first year I have actually used the Bucks in the game. The combo of Holmes, Ginn, Pittman, and Smith/Zwick is great!!!! Plus, AJ Hawk is a beast on D. Georgia offered me a scholarship, so I am doing my RFTH with them. They arent bad either. I'm a HB and the option works great with the QB DJ Shockley.
  5. #1 Coulumbus Bills Fan, welcome to the board...I'm not going to lie, I find your name a slap in the face. Anyway, who are you sim-ing with? IDK about PS2, but the game for Xbox has improved graphics. The stadiums are better than ever and night games look way better than before, I know they revamped the night graphics. Sure the in-game play hasn't changed much, except for the damn defensive controls , but the RFTH mode is really well done.
  6. I'm from Columbus and a music education major at THE Ohio State University. Yes, Spoons is a Bills Backers Club but it is a 21 only bar. I am under 21 so I am out of luck. Oh, and by the way...they don't call the OSUMB "The Best Damn Band in the Land," for no reason.
  7. JimBob, I see your point on the playoff, I want one too. I think it is possible, there are just logistics to be worked out. The fact that if you lose one game and you are most likely out of the championship game is one reason why I love college football. The regualr season means soooo much more, every game is a playoff type atmosphere.
  8. What were you disapointed with? I think it is a great game, possibly the best so far. I'm just curious to see what you didn't like.
  9. I couldn't agree more with what you said. I love the Bills with a passion, but nothing can ever come close, for me at least, then a crisp fall day when M*ch*g*n is in town. The pagentry...the tradition...you just can't top it. The nice thing about the Big Ten, well 11 but whatever, is that because there is no conference championship and the OSU-UM game means something every year. One of those teams are in the hunt. On the other side of the coin, Army-Navy means nothing in the standings most years but it always a can't miss game. How many times have you said to yourself, "There is no way I am missing the 49ers-Cardinals game!!"
  10. If it can get playoff hockey to Columbus then I'm all for it.
  11. Haha, yes it is. It was a ten on the unintentional comedy scale for a while...now it's just annoying as hell.
  12. Well, the actual game itself is on a Monday correct? So I assume classes are canceled on Monday.
  13. I've heard that FSU games get pretty intense, I've always wanted to go to one. FSU-Miami on opening day is going to be crazy down there.
  14. Hootie has said that he would welcome Wie if she qualifies. And she isn't doing this for money either, she is still an amateur.
  15. The LSU band marching down the hill looked really cool. Here are some traditions at Ohio State. The St. John Arena and The 'Shoe movie shows the band marching into Skull Session (a pre-game pep rally the packs the old 14,000 seat football arena) and running into the stadium. After they run into the stadium they go directly to the ramp for pre-game. The band is the only all brass and percussion band in the country. About 450 try out every year and only 225 make it. I am trying out this year for the first time, so I hope I make it. OSU Traditions
  16. Being Bobby Brown is without a doubt the worst show on TV.
  17. At least there aren't cannons in every stadium this year.
  18. I don't know what it is like on PS2, but on Xbox all the jukes are with the right thumb stick. This new feature is great!!! Also, scrambling with your QB (Troy Smith) is 20 times easier this year. Just hold A or X for those PS2ers and off you go. Also, if you are still behind the LOS, all you have to do is let go and the passing icons come back up. Stadiums this year are the best yet, I have never seen The 'Shoe look so good. I like the feature with the girlfriends in the game. When in Heisman mode, your players gf gets better looking as you do better. I thought it was a nice touch.
  19. I have no problem with cutting baseball in the Olympics. Ben Sheets said it best, "No one grows up wanting to win a baseball gold medal." Plus, the baseball world cup is going to be even more intense next year.
  20. I went to the game in Indy a while ago; it was during the Todd Collins era. I was pretty young at the time and my dad and I sat the entire game, clapped our hands when the bills did something right, but we weren't annoying to any extent. Well, about 4 or 5 50 year old guys threw three beers at me. I couldn't been any older than 11 or 12. My dad and I had to move eventually.
  21. CajunBillsBacker, I really want to go to Death Valley to see a game. However, when it comes to the tradition of the bands, I will have to go with Ohio State. There is NOTHING like The Best Damn Band in the Land marching down the ramp or dotting the I in script ohio. However, that qoute about the shaking of the fence and screaming "Tiger Bait," sends chills down my spine...that must really be something.
  22. Yes, Tiger Stadium is still standing. If you look on the image you can see both Tiger Stadium AND Comerica Park. Tiger Stadium was used as Yankee Stadium in the movie 61*. They were going to tear it down afterwords but never did.
  23. LSU of course, although I heard Clemson isn't bad either. Any of the military academies seem like an amazing place to see a game. All three have some variation on the March-On of Midshipmen, I've heard from a lot of people that it truly is one of the more spectacular traditions in all of sports.
  24. Comerica Park is up in Detroit...it's right down the road from Tiger Stadium.
  25. Sadly, some of that is starting to take place at Ohio State. The new President of the university is one Karen A. Holbrook. She is single-handedly ruining the atmosphere. No more grilling in most areas, no open containers of alcohol, and the worst of it is that she has enforced the student ticket rule. The ticket can only be used by the student with a Buck-ID, the college ID card. At a pep rally at the Alamo Bowl this year, she walked on stage and immediately had to leave because the boos were too loud.
