  1. I don't think the Clements deal would happen unless the Henry for Barber deal was real. At #9, I would guess a CB or pass rusher based on some of the player rankings out there and who will be available at #9. I guess Matt Jones could even be a possibility here also.

  2. Henry is the perfect complement to Westbrook. He will get all the tough yards that Westbrook doesn't and they could play in the backfield at the same time. Henry is a workhorse and if used properly is a quality starting RB. Unfortunately, McGahee is also a workhorse type back with better escapibility and at 100% has better break-away speed.

  3. If Jones is still available late in the 1st round, I could see TD moving up to get him. He's a potential game changer, and it doesn't seem like any of the OT's and CB's are that type of player in this draft. It also seems like there is a lot of depth at the OT and CB positions in this draft. It's hard to imagine TD and Modrak just sitting around until the 55th pick. Whereas other NFL organizations have strength in their pocketbooks, the Bills strength is their talent evaluation and the draft is where these guys distance themselves from other organizations. Doubtful they deal Clements, but Henry will be dealt on draft day and it would not surprise me to see the Bills trade up to the end of the 1st round. It would surprise me more if they didn't.

  4. I doubt TD would make the deal with the 'Skins unless a CB he covets is available at #9 when the 'Skins are on the clock. If Clements is gone, we need a shutdown CB right off the bat and can't afford to wait around for a 2nd rounder or late first to develop. If Rolle is available at #9, and the Redskins come callin', I could actually see this happening. Snyder has the cash to throw Nate's way, and the Bills have the talent evaluators to trust trading a Pro Bowler for a future Pro Bowler if who they want is available at #9 and will get it at a significant lower cost than Nate for the next 5 years.

  5. The Stadium becomes bare! Come on, like it or not, this proposed stadium will make so much money for NYC and the surrounding area. It will be the premier stadium venue in the world for musicians, soccer, football, you name it. Why do you think MSG and the Dolans have spent over $20m lobbying against it? What would Buffalo do with $300m? Build another subway that 100 people ride on a daily basis. How much tax revenue do you think actually comes out of WNY? Do you honestly think NYC would care if WNY left the state from a tax revenue standpoint?

  6. I gotta believe if Law comes here, it will be a 1 year deal. All it will do is provide the Bills some leverage with Nate, but in the end if Law recovers and is an adequate replacement to Nate, Law never seemed like the loyal type and will probably go to the highest bidder after. And I'd rather throw my money at a 26year old Clements than a 32 year old Law.

  7. Do you honestly think that an OT scheduled to make $3m per season would still be on the market if he was any good? With guys like Jennings and McKenzie getting $12m in signing bonuses and $5m per year, you would think teams would be lining up to give the Cards at least a 3rd round pick for this guy. It tells me the guy just isn't highly thought of around the league. With Travis, you know what you are getting and if he had the same contract situation as Shelton, he would probably easily fetch a 2nd rounder. The longer Donahoe waits and the longer Shelton is still with the Cards, the price for him will keep dropping.

  8. Seems like we have a good shot to land Demulling. Also, on the Shelton front, with the Cards signing their starting RT and Chicago reportedly close to locking up Fred Miller, it looks like the Cards options are dwindling with Shelton. If TD really wants him, it looks like Shelton could be had for a 4th rounder. At this point, the Cards would have to throw in a draft pick in a trade for Henry.

  9. You are pannicking. TD never puts all his eggs in one basket. Wait to see what happens. Let Arizona get a 3rd rounder for Shelton and have them spend their top 10 pick on a RB who better pan out if you are shelling out that kind of money. The only RB this year worth that kind of money is Benson and he will be gone by then. The Auburn guys have nice physical numbers but have never carried a full workload in college much less the NFL. I would never take a RB in the top 10 that you have to project how they are going to carry a full workload.

  10. Throw in nothing. Henry is a better player than Shelton. Henry lost his job to potentially a top 5 RB. Shelton was benched on a horrible team. You know what you are getting with Travis. Shelton is a crap shoot. The only thing that makes the trade close to even is Shelton plays tackle and has a favorable contract to the team he is traded too
