  1. I'm average height, average weight, my eyes are a washed out blue-gray, my hair color matches the color of my skin, I drive a tan 2017 Camry with tan seats and 110,000 miles on it, and my actual first name is Bud or Buddy. I usually have to wait 15 or 20 minutes for cold cuts at the deli, even when I have number 19 and they are serving 24. My wife says I'm the man of her dreams, but she struggles with insomnia and says it doesn't really bother her.
  2. There's no way you're a centrist, because I'm a centrist!
  3. "Bernie bro"?! It says I'm a "Bernie Bro"?? What kind of sick game are you running here, Reich?
  4. What would you consider an 'activist judge', and what other descriptors are available?
  5. "Deflecting" when I answered your question directly? If I were you, I would seriously consider filing a lawsuit against the elementary school you attended, and every teacher who ever taught you under the Victims of Crappy Educators Act. Do you think AOC is corrupt under your standards?
  6. It's not a 'win', it's an outcome. If played correctly, the evolving HB saga and JB's ties to China and the family business can yield fruit on the campaign trail. The band plays on.
  7. You seem to be doing it now, at least in terms of the statements made by AOC and what you seem to feel defines 'corruption'. Life, Lance Armstrong, Jussie Smollette have taught me to be cautious in matters like this. There is always a possibility. I do not believe he is corrupt.
  8. You posted a video of a member of Congress grossly distorting the perks of being in Congress, and we’re not even scratching the surface of the liberties taken there. it’s well known and well established. A simple acknowledgment that she’s probably not the most trustworthy source of information probably would helps with your credibility. As for politics and SC Justices, it’s clear from disclosures that the money and gifts flow freely to members of that institution. Liberal. Conservative. If you’re advocating for a thorough review top to bottom, and new laws/guidelines for all, perhaps that makes sense. But you don’t ever seem to want that—you just want to fixate on one man. I wonder why that is. In conjunction with that, though, a thorough analysis of our senators, representatives in Congress, and the Executive office would be necessary. Since that’s never going to happen, because benefits accrue to everyone involved, it seems silly for pretend otherwise. https://nypost.com/2023/09/13/rep-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-says-shes-married-in-disclosure-forms-docs/amp/ …AOC gets a Tibsybuck, redeemable for one free pass on blatant hypocrisy!
  9. It’s pretty well-established that the only real perk associated with being a member of Congress is the occasional $50 gift card from Target. Beyond that, these citizens are completely above reproach.
  10. That’s why the work is so important.
  11. I’m hearing The Innocence Project may be looking into this. Stay tuned.
  12. Were you down with AG Barr's decision post Mueller Report as the obvious correct call? What'd ya think(le), Frenkle?
  13. I think if you ignore the things that happen to cause people to be distrustful in a case like this, sure, it’s a real crackerjack. I realize it’s imperfect, and when functioning properly it’s the best in the world. It’s just…how many federal gun cases like this do you suppose the intelligence community makes declarations to blow up the credibility of key evidence?
  14. I think this is as clean a case where dangerous firearms are illegally obtained by a crystal meth addict, subsequently stolen by his deceased brothers former wife and discarded in a Wegman’s bag near a middle school where nothing bad ever could happen, and where the CIA and a host of other intelligence agencies erroneously declaring the evidence to be the product of a hostile foreign nation looking to influence our election process with a generous defendant friendly plea deal tossed out by a judge as you’ll ever see. Now, it’s time to heal.
  15. It always seems that people who are successful in industries where tipping is the standard (restaurants, bars etc) seem to prefer the lower wage, higher potential earnings standard. In fact, they seem to thrive in it. Others with less skill in that regard, not so much.
  16. Wouldn't cranking up a tip on the grossly inflated billable hours be a bridge too far?
  17. I’m not trolling, at least not from my perspective. I’m observing and conversing. You have applied rigid standards in one case, offered a “not offering excuses for her analysis” while offering excuses for her. As for applying the same standard, given your rationalization of the actions of Sotomayor, I can only assume that you mean, perhaps, at some future point?
  18. I’m going to be blunt with you. Your standard is different for individuals, and you really seem to care if they’re left or right.
  19. https://fixthecourt.com/2022/06/justice-sotomayor-amends-financial-disclosure-include-six-free-trips-previously-omitted/ Sotomayor…liar!
  20. If this an accusation, it’s a confession. It’s a confessucation.
  21. What always fascinates me is when a poster declares every accusation a confession, after making accusations with virtually every post. Fascinating like a science experiment.
  22. Then you should probably just start a thread that all SC justices are always conflicted.
  23. So, the massive amounts of money paid to SC justices from corporations isn’t the issue, it’s the paperwork? The only pretend smoke associated with this imaginary fire is from outside the chambers.
  24. I understand there are 50, maybe less for the timid.
