Reason number 1,413 why claims of illegitimate and/or stolen elections are a mainstream issue, why Hunter Biden’s ties to influence peddling, Ukraine and Russia must be investigated throughly ::yawn::, and why you launch an impeachment inquiry against JB if you can. -
They really mess with your mind, these women who pretend to be disinterested and these wives obviously complicit in the scheme. I think if they stopped to realize we’re just people with feelings who hurt just like they do, maybe the world would be a better place.

I’ll defer to your expertise on such matters. Let’s hope for a Matrix style ending to this season!

This is an overly simplistic point of view. Post 9/11, there were many, many questions about failures of the intelligence community to identify to identify and stop the attacks before they happened. These were reasonable questions. Somewhere between “the FBI assets were responsible for the attacks” and “There’s nothing to see here!” is reasonable. In spite of the fact that Trump has not been charged with a crime for being directly involved with the 1/6 riots, there has been rampant speculation that he was intimately involved. Given that he hasn’t been charged, it’s reasonable to assume that the 1/6 riot was spontaneous, at least from his perspective. A completely reasonable question is if there were assets embedded, and if they knew of the threat of violence, and if they knew/believed Trump was directly involved—how was the Capital overrun to begin with?

I always thought that “come hither” applied more to a seduction situation, as in a comely lass giving her best come hither stare. Then again, I used to feel that way when the counter lady gave me some extra fries in the bag at McDonalds when I was a younger man. I may not have never been right.

Oh boy, you’re back to the ok-version of promoting the right type of conspiracy theories. -
I’m sure there is a process to follow if you feel there is a violation in terms of service. I would point you in the right direction but I have never felt the need to do so in spite of disagreements, political differences or the occasional over-the-top insults or hostile posts that might come my way. There are many reasons why—lessons learned in life, basic understanding of human nature, and an absolute belief that the toxicity expressed by others isn’t my burden to carry. I appreciate the opportunity to participate on the board and the format in which we all can participate. That you’ve chosen to share your opinion on how/why the site owner offers the PPP section reveals a degree of narcissism on your part. Do you really think I care what you think about what SDS thinks? If I had a question, I’d direct it to him. All I can tell you is that I’ve read your posts, rejected virtually everything you’ve said as untruthful, manipulative, and that you’ve changed your story several times. You post things, and when confronted with what you’ve said, you pretend you didn’t. I most definitely respond with sarcasm, I most definitely mock you, and I acknowledge not knowing if you’re a middle school kid killing time, a run of the mill troll, or if you really have issues tracking what you’ve said and to whom you’ve said it. You’ll have to ask @B-Man about his employment status. I’m not sure why that crossed your mind, but if I was keeping score it would be the second time you’re addressing what someone else thinks or does in one post. Also, while I’ve never met B personally, word on the street is he said one time “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life!”. Maybe that’s where your confusion is? Now, back to the point. I see mods on the main board occasionally step in and suggest “the topic is no longer contributing to the community” and I think we’ve reached that point. My suggestion is we simply agree that the best outcome for Mr. Pelosi and his family is a full and complete recovery. Not because he’s a kazillionaire, not because his wife is speaker of the house emeritus, but because he was a human being who had his skull fractured by a very disturbed individual wielding a hammer. Good day, sir.

I will answer on behalf of BillSy. ::deep breath:: “While interest rates, loan terms and market conditions vary, the monthly payment on a $10,000 student loan is approximately $11,311. While extrapolating an $11,311 monthly payment to an annual obligation is almost impossible, application of the lattice method calculation puts the total annual payment in excess of a lot of money. As you can clearly see, the average individual in Los Angeles making $125,000 simply cannot afford to pay in excess of a lot of money, and the thruway traffic is a bear.”’ -
I don’t get it either, Deek. What is particularly interesting to me is that people who suggested that Twitter was a private enterprise and could do its own thang before, suddenly want to complain about Twitter doing its own thang now. @nedboy7 Add “sometimes using thang instead of thing like it’s 1982” the list. The Apprentice Some of Barry Manilow’s music. Opera. Thing/Thang. It’s not an all-inclusive list fyi.

You’re unhinged, Ned, and my only advice is next time you attempt to draw a parallel, think! In the big picture, I don’t care one way or another what happens to Twitter. I think if you were to draw a parallel that makes sense, Twitter often offers as much staged and manufactured drama as The Apprentice did. As for me enjoying the show, try not to be so judgmental. I also like some Barry Manilow songs. And opera. As for Elon, I’m almost certain your criticism of him most certainly will disqualify you to be chief advisor and confidante. Sad, he could have used you on the team.

I don’t know about impeachment, but the seriousness of allegations warrants actions. There is nothing to fear should the Rs investigate Garland and whistleblower allegations at the DOJ. If he has nothing to hide, we’ll at least get another version of transparency. Impeachment likely won’t happen, but it’s what’s done these days to control the narrative.

You’re straying farther and farther from the point. I didn’t say PPP was essential, Congress did. I agree if there was corruption it should be addressed. We agree here. I don’t like the Student Loan forgiveness program, but recognize people should avail themselves of benefits should Biden ever figure out how to administer the program correctly. We disagree on the policy, but agree on how it should play out if it comes to pass. That would help the average Americans you seem to like on Student Loan forgiveness but seem to have contempt for if they got a check through PPP. If your hunch is that Trump pocketed a hundred bills, throw it on the list for the next lynch mob. If you have an issue with decisions made in preparing and administering the loans, you should look to the Congress that passed it. Glad we agree on the things that we agree on. -

When Biden declared student loan debt amnesty, I encouraged family members who would benefit to apply for debt forgiveness. Prior to that, I encouraged my family members to make sensible choices in education, and to understand the basic math on debt load, field of study as it related to future employment opportunities, personal financial wellness and the basics of honoring their obligations. As a stakeholder in their education, I also understood the power of saying “no”, and said it more than once. It worked very, very well for us, though it was not without significant cost and some sacrifice. PPP was a bipartisan program designed to put money in the pocket of people who otherwise may not have been paid. I don’t know why you have a problem with this, mostly because you haven’t articulated why. I think for people with student loan debt, the money they received from PPP would help them with their debt. If your argument is against corruption, government waste, and competence, we agree. -
https://thenationalpulse.com/2022/11/18/massive-citizenfreepress-news-site-suspended-from-musks-twitter-for-sharing-video-of-obama-admitting-election-machine-exploits/ It’s weird that everyone knew this was problematic, that people in power tried to gain a competitive edge maybe right up through 2019, when suddenly, miraculously discussions of this sort were an afront to decency and civilized folk everywhere. When do we have an honest dialogue on why this happens, and why it works?

I’m not sure I understand you here. You don’t care about that you don’t understand the differences in the two programs, or you don’t care that socialism is ok in certain scenarios? I guess I’m confused, too, about the characterization of people as peasants and them not receiving a dime. It stands to reason, and is extraordinarily likely that many, many, many people who would stand to benefit from the Biden forgiveness program benefited directly—and significantly from PPP. My recollection is that the calculation was roughly 10 weeks of salary was passed loaned to business owners to protect paychecks of employees during the lockdown. So, I don’t know, an individual making $115k would stand to receive around $24,000, and his partner making $97,500 would receive around $20k. I didn’t look up the parameters, so maybe I’m 10% high on my assessments. You support socialism (I think), but would have preferred the people in desperate need of student debt relief not get the $45k during the government shutdown, just because Biden is having trouble figuring out how relieve student loan debt without tripping over constitutional issues?
