  1. That’s where they’re going to hit us, and that’s why debt can be a national security risk. Of course, Trump added more to the debt than Biden, or Obama, and probably further exacerbated the problem with his tax cuts for the rich. A Republican I know at one of those places just summed up Trump in two words: “an idiot.”
  2. I think it’s coming now even after he backed down. Too much belt tightening ahead. Nobody trusts this guy.
  3. The market is still down what, 8pc since the start of the year? Based on uncertainty, because nobody wants to invest here given the day to day uncertainty of the policy of this fool of a president. The soft coat of this is going to be the economic flight of foreign capital that follows. So I wouldn’t count the “no recession” chickens just yet.
  4. The largest tax increase in American history isn’t going to help with that. But that’s what Trump just did.
  5. Looks like MAGA should work the fields first to get in shape for the factories -
  6. All in the queue behind that deal we're working on with Mexico to pay for the wall.
  7. That's the problem. MAGA likes blunt talk, so I'll deliver it here. It's a group made up in significant part of low-information, and poorly educated voters. They simply don't understand that tariffs are a tax that, in what what will likely be vast majority part, are paid by Americans and specifically American consumers.
  8. There’s a big difference between rebounded and recovered. Dead cats rebound when dropped. It doesn’t mean they recover.
  9. Sweet. Now we encourage China and others to innovate and educate so we can incentivize the lazy MFers who didn’t go to school and didn’t work so they can make socks and assemble disposable crap that’s now going to be way more expensive than before.
  10. They’re losers. Can’t handle it when some disagrees with them. So they call people libtards and block them on social media. Lame.
  11. Shouldn’t be a problem. Needless trade wars are easy to win. All we have to do is “hang tough!”
  12. I hope so, but I wonder if it's too late. It's not like the markets are going to perk back up to where they were. Consumer confidence is down, relationships with trading partners are shattered, and trust is broken. Trading partners will buy less of our stuff as long as this fool is in office, and it's going to hurt not only trade deficits but businesses with foreign contracts for services.
  13. Not sure. But this is going to spin out of control fast when the margin calls kick in. Circuit breaker may be the phrase that pays tomorrow afternoon. This is ridiculous, even for you.
  14. They should also take anyone who lives in a trailer and spends snap on Doritos off of welfare, social security, etc., right? Because that's fraud, is it not? They're able bodied, they can work the fields now that the illegals are out of here, and maybe they should stop watching the couch grow into their *ss, turn of Fox News, and get to work.
  15. It has evaporated here. Time to take the medicine. Enjoy the meth and crippling credit card debt, MAGA. Which ones were paid? Where's the proof? Or is this just another one of your hoaxes?
  16. Exactly. So far, no fraud found, no prosecutions, no arrest, and no indication as to what specifically DOGE has cut (aside from humans).
  17. We cannot take a safety with one of our top three picks. Too much need at CB and on d-line.
  18. Hoax. His stupidity, and your fecklessness, are going to cripple Main Street, too. It would be cheaper to have taxed the crap out of my brokerage/ROTH, etc. accounts to pay for whatever goal it is that Trump wished to accomplish through these stupid tariffs. Trillions in wealth destroyed. Think of what good that wealth could have accomplished. Coming from you it's hard to be sure what the phrase refers to. Especially since you communicate principally through cartoons. So the phrase probably means something dumb.
  19. Or it could be people pissed off about the wanton destruction of their life's savings.
  20. Great play. Also a nice noncall.
  21. I forgot about the loser who started this thread. It was an unpleasant reminder of an unpleasant person.
  22. Or the Republican candidate could not have made probably the worst economic policy decision since the Great Depression. There's that option, too. Trump doesn't even know why he imposed a tariff on Australia. Ask Barron. Or maybe Big Balls. Red meat for the rich folks, red meat for the morons.
  23. Nothing about job losses, all of the other idiotic tariffs, and the destruction of the stock market, eh?
  24. Just because I don't check it regularly doesn't mean that I support tanking it with measures that not only are going to lower the indices but cause future problems that will suppress the indices. This guy isn't just Trump II, he's Jimmy Carter II.
